I have the vivid red jax and I must say sound is awesome.especially when it comes to the bass, Also very Comfortable with my ears.Overall, I have no complaints about these headphones. I would like to recommended for all.

These headphones sound great versus standard iPod earbuds. I washed my pair [accidentally] twice, and they still work like when I bought them. Well worth the $30-$40.

I enjoy these headphones iv only owned them for a day and I like them you can hear everything and it's not overdosed bass the set is pretty stylish and sol republic has a 1 year warranty from day of purchase so I recommend them

I bought these earphones and it is the best i have ever had!!! it's a lot better than the apple ones. it is super comfortable and the sound quality is uh-mazing!!! you won't regret buying this!!!

Purchased these as an upgrade to my sons current earbud headphones that developed a short. They have superior sound quality, but we'll have to see how they hold up as I haven't found and earbud that doesn't develop a short eventually.

JAX brings the earphone industry to a whole new level. It produces good quality sound, to a small price! Totally worth getting!

I figured they would be good earbuds with them being Sol Republic and 40$, but they are very uncomfortable at first, the sound quality is poor. You might as well buy the new apple earpods. I had broke my earpods, and then bought these. With me being a bass head, these earbuds are terrible compared to the earpods. I have to give it to Sol Republic on durability though. If you just want headphones for casual once in a while listening you are fine. If you want cheaper better sounding headphones these aren't for you. (ignore my iphone 5c recommendation)

Pros: lightweight, flat cable rarely tangles, bright sound and decent bass do not overwhelm one another Cons: need to turn volume up to higher volumes to experience better sound quality, some discomfort while wearing if you have smaller ears, volume control does not work on my Android phone

These are the first in ear headphones that I actually like and can use comfortably. When I play music with these headphone the quality is great and the sound is amazing.

I'm a thrifty spender, and although I've always craved the sound of $100+ headphones, I just couldn't ever convince myself to spend the cash as they were more a luxury than a necessity. Then... I stumbled across the Sol Republic Jax. WIN! I wouldn't say they were the best sound quality I've ever heard, but of course I'm comparing them to Bose over the ear headphones, Beats over the ear headphones, etc. But for a set of ear buds, these are AMAZING! Comparing them to the stock ear buds, some mid and higher priced Sony's, and even much more expensive Klipsch, these ear buds beat them all. PLUS they're 1/2 the price of some of those headphones they blow away! I've been wearing them for a few hours since buying them and have no discomfort. They block outside sound phenomenally well, and unlike most earbuds, they don't have any of that annoying "cable" noise that roars in your ears when you move around and brush the cord. Wins all the way around. Sure, I gave a 4 on sound quality, because once again they aren't the BEST on the market, but I should be able to give them a 6 on "Value for Price"!

I got these to replace the earphones for my IPHONE 4S, works better than the standard earphones from Apple.

I couldn't believe how great those hphones are... I have 4 pair of in ear headphones some of them are very expensive but those one can compare very closely. One word GREAT just try it............. and on the end one conclusion... Many headphones are over priced, it doesn't mean if headphones are expensive they are good,,,, NO ............ IN HEADPHONES WORLD YOU HAVE FIRST TO TRY IT DONT LOOK AT PRICE...............

I bought these headphones yesterday and used them last night to listen to music. The shape of the ear bud right behind the rubber insert hurt my ears. It's not rounded; it's sharp-edged. After only one use, they made the skin on my ears swollen where it was touching. I didn't think I'd ever need or want to return headphones, so I threw away all the packaging (REGRET). Now I'm out 39.99 and still need new headphones.

Great earbuds for 40 bucks there amazing sound quality and great bass clear good music.

The volume buttons do not work with any Apple devices even though the manual says that. The play/pause works fine with all devices. Do let the discounted price fool you.

This earbud packs a punch in terms of musical performance. The deep bass and balanced treble make this a must buy earbud.

The headset is great quality for the price paid. I would definitely recommend it to others.

I was able to purchase these on sale for $29.99 and they have blown me away sound wise. I have had multiple earbuds over the years - Shure, Beats, etc... and I have find these to be as good sound wise if not better. I find Beats to be "too bassy" and missing the mid-range. The Shure's have better overall sound but lack some of the punch in the bass that the Jax deliver. Jax has good bass punch, but not too "boomy", great mid-range and a smooth, not tinny high end. It comes with 4 different size ear tips so make sure you select the proper one to ensure a good seal and fit in the ear. The only thing I would say is a drawback on the Jax are they are not the best to wear when working out if you are jogging or jumping. As they tend to fall out, even with the proper tip size. However, for walking around and "normal" use, these are great.
