Customers are saying

Customers are enthusiastic about the Jax Earbud Headphones' sound quality, comfort, and fit, frequently praising the bass and tangle-free cord. Many appreciate the affordable price point and lightweight design. However, some customers express disappointment with the lack of volume control and issues with the microphone's placement and functionality. A few also noted some tangling issues, despite the advertised tangle-free cord.

Well the speaker is already disconnected from the earbud. Trying to send it in for warranty, jumping through hoops!

The cord is way too fragile. I caught it with my hand while running and it snapped the first time using them.

Great Mids, Good Highs, Distorted Bass

I use these with my PS4 for game play/party chat, and occasionally for music on my smartphone. As the other reviews mentioned, the mic is lower than most earbuds. This was not a game changer for me, but something to consider if you intend to use the click button feature. On the PS4 you have to hold the button down to mute. These are very comfortable, my only complaint is the bass. When the bass hits there is a slight distortion compared to my Skullcandy Ink'd 2 headphones, which are cheaper in price. Overall, I still give these a 4 stars. I primarily use them on my PS4. TLDR; If your primary use is listening to music, earbuds are your preference, and you're looking for a cheap price. I would go with Skullcandy.

Great everyday earbuds for the price

These are relatively high quality earbuds, not quite as great as the beats, but given the price difference, these are actually a much better choice. Earbuds often get lost, or don't last for years no matter how much you try to take care of them because of every day wear and tear and to pay roughly $20 for these and have them be high quality and last for so long is a great deal.

bought these to wear under my full face Icon motorcycle helmet. They fit snugly in my ears when putting the helmet on, cause no discomfort while wearing, are loud enough to hear over the wind noise and sound of the motorcycle, and let just enough ambient noise in to know what's going on around you.

    Solid Headphones for the Price

This is the best pair of cheap-ish earbuds I've owned. Solid highs and lows. While the buds don't pop out of your ears completely, they do tend to get a big loose, which causes a noticeable loss of bass. I feel like I'm constantly having to push them in farther even though they seem to fit well. Probably the best buds you're going to find for under $40.

The volume buttons do not work with any Apple devices even though the manual says that. The play/pause works fine with all devices. Do let the discounted price fool you. do like the cord and sound

Bought these as a replacement for the crummy Modal ones that broke within a week. The cord seems very well made and the sound is great!!! Pretty comfortable to wear and you can't beat the price.

    Replaced My Monster DNA's Earbuds

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I got these as a cheaper replacement to my Monster DNA's. I can say the sound quality is very close to what my DNA's use to produce. Good deep bass. The mids and highs are good. The earbuds themselves do look and feel like a lower quality earbud. The cable is the "noodle" style which is good to keep the cord from tangling. If you touch the cord while the earbuds are in your ears you do hear the impact of the sound. Kind of like a stethoscope when you tap the end with your finger, just not quite that loud. I used the mid-sized earbuds on my DNA's, but with these had to use the large ones to get the best sound quality at the expense of a little comfort. Overall, I'm happy with the earbuds and glad I didn't fork over another $100 on higher end ones.
