    Great headphones overall

First offf, let me just say that I own a LOT of headphones. I've been forever searching for that perfect pair that offer great sound and will stay in my ears! Almost all of them fall out. :-(. So, that said, these headphones by Sol Republic are great for the price! The sound quality is decent and they absolutely don't fall out! I have not experienced any connectivity issues and battery life is good. I would definitely recommend these, especially if you need a pair of hp that are comfortable and will stay in place while running.

    sub standard for Sol

I love Sol. I've purchased both Jax and Tracks and love the sound (though my Jax didn't stay put very well during runs). These sound like mud. The Bluetooth never lost connection, but it didn't seem that great, much like a so so quality radio reception in the car. The mid bass like a standard car woofer is alright, but the low end for today's music isn't there for artists like Ke$ha and other dance/workout music. I took them for a 5k today and they had enough charge right out of the box. They didn't budge a bit, which I have found to be a very, very difficult quality to find in ear buds. Toward the end of the run, I could feel a little more pull on the wire as I turned from side to side to look around during the run though.

    Awesome!!!

I bought these today to replace some Sony wireless headphones that felt like I was wearing calculators attached to my ears--and constantly required adjustment to stay in. I had one criteria for these: STAY PUT. I use headphones for workouts including push-ups, hand-stand push-ups, pull-ups and long mountain bike rides. A few hours after buying them, I went on a mountain bike ride which is a constant series of bumps and jumps and turns. After an hour of flawless performance, I managed to wreck, hitting the ground hard enough to crack my helmet (and my cell phone screen). As I laid on the ground assessing the physical damage, it dawned on me that these headphones DID NOT BUDGE!!! Even after slamming by head on the ground sideways, I didn't have to adjust them even slightly--and the music kept playing. The fit is very comfortable, sound quality is decent, and noise cancellation is good. And in case your wondering, I walked away with only a few bruises and scrapes.

I purchased these first just because of the color and they were sport headphones. But then i used them an they are really great, the sound that comes from them are great and you can hear the bass and everything, but the only i would say about these are just great couldn't ask for a better headphone that is even wireless, thats a plus too.

The worst headphones ever - DO NOT BUY

These headphones were awesome....for about 2 months. When we first got 2 pairs from Best Buy, one for my wife and myself, we loved them. They were light, simple to use, and they lasted a long time. However, about 2 months after our first purchase, the first set just stopped working. It would charge, but never turn on. So we sent them in for return, waited 4 weeks and we had to chat with them for hours to prove they didn't work, and later we received a new pair. During that four weeks. My pair died as well...so once again we started the return process and waited another 4 weeks. We were definitely thinking these were junk at this point, However we had hopes it was just a bad batch of product. NOPE! The new pairs we received as replacements are now dead as well! These headphones are the biggest waste of money and the manufacturer simply does not care about the quality of the product. Do not buy sol republic products, its just cheap junk disguised as expensive stuff.

I was so excited after seeing these on The Verge last week that they were newly released. I ran down to my local Best Buy and snagged the last pair of Black. When i got home and opened the packaging I found the materials to be extremely plasticy and cheap feeling but none the less they were very light weight and water and sweat resistant so the materials didn't bother me too much as they were super comfortable. The real problems started when I finished syncing the headset and began doing some jumping jacks to see if they truly stayed in place, I was greeted with constant crackling as if the cord was shorting out, sure enough I grabbed the right side to raise the volume and as i touched it there was a loud CRACK!, as I began wiggling the pod the crackling got much worse, I took them off my head and put them back in the packaging super disappointed. As much as I want to go get another pair I'm just not sure I trust this brand at this point, might just go with the Jaybirds or the Icon X by Samsung :(

These are great for listening purposes but they tend to fall out while running. I first got these a few weeks ago, however it was too cold for running but it got warmer so I went for a short 2 mile run to test them. I felt the batteries on the sides bouncing, and a few minutes in, I felt the right on slipping out. If you want good workout buds, these aren't for you. But if you want good wireless buds for listening purposes, these are great for that, very good sound quality

    Fair At Best

After several positive press reviews last week, I thought these may be a perfect alternative to overpriced BT headphones from Beats etc. The design and build quality are decent enough but the sound quality is very poor. My cheap amazon BT headphones from China sound better than these for less than half the price. The fit is not great either. While they claim that they stay in place, these would not survive a run. Very disappointed and will be returning them.

Pros: Great fit, stayed in ears through sweat, decent sound. Cons: Charged them to full after first cycle. Never turned on again. No lights, no beeps, no anything. Called support, who knowingly said, "Yeah, I'd take those back to Best Buy." So I did. They were fine for two days.

    Horrible headphones

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This was my first pair of Bluetooth wireless headphones. They worked at first but they were extremely uncomfortable and didn't fit my ears. I had to cut the rubber ring around the earbud off to get them to fit and even then, they hurt my ears. I bought these in March 2017 so I've had them about 6 months and have used them moderately, not every day, all day long. They no longer hold a charge for more than two hours, the battery packs on each side are slightly heavy so they tend to slip out of my ears. The sound quality is awful (The generic apple headphones that come with your iPhone have better sound than these do) and again, they aren't very comfortable even with the different sized rubber ear buds. I completely regret buying these.
