well i own Dr dre studios they were alright at the beginning but they lost bass.i thought it was because of the batteries but they just wore off.i would listen to dubstep with them at a certain point of volume they would start to loose clarity everything sounded mushy, but with my Tracks HD their clear sounding wonderful bass i just fell in love with them. same goes for solos your just paying for the brand.

I was very excited to buy and use these headphones on my 6 hour plane ride. I have to say, the sound(bass) is way better than most headphones I've tried in the past. The do not feel or look cheap. They are a great buy for the price and they perform above average. My only major complaint is the fit. I wore the headphones for the first two hours of my flight and I have to say my ears started to hurt; not from the bass, but from the ear cups pressing against my bone in my ear. When I took them off, I had a lot of pain. I couldn't touch the inside of my ears for about ten minutes, that's how much they hurt. I tried to take off my glasses for the next hour, to see if it was the glasses, but the same thing happened. I even tried to stretch out the band, but it still hurt. I don't understand, they are great sounding headphones, but it is very uncomfortable to wear for a long period of time.

I bought these headphones last winter and I couldn't get over how beautiful they looked and how the band could be shaped out for another one. Don't even get me started on the sound it is top of the line. This is a product for the ages.

This is by far the best set of headphones I've used. Much better than beats when it comes to sound quality and comfort. The ability to customize it is an added bonus so you can always feel like you're wearing a different pair.

These are the best headphones around. They're indestructible, fashionable, and have amahhhzing sound. The interchangeable headbands are bae, and the detachable cord has saved my life more times than I can count. MUST BUY.

Really good headphones for the price and definitely the best warranty in the headphone market. Would highly recommend for bass-y music like Trance and the like but also great on vocals. Crisp, deep, and clear sound.

I love this because the sound quality is way worth the money. It is a "brand name" but doesnt have the money that comes with it. It is interchngable and stylish and comfortable, which is totally important to me. :)

I've had these headphones for quite a few months now. They sound great and are much cheaper than beats. The headphones look great and are very durable.

I love how indestructible they are also highs and lows are,balanced at high volume levels. Much better than dre beats

it's a really good headphone but took one star off because the headphone cord breaks too fast if you always have it on your phone or iPod in your pocket everyday so one side always goes out on me other then that...headphone has good sound, better then beats and cheaper too

I owned a pair of Master Tracks from the same company, and feeling that I needed a more portable and more discreet pair, I bought these. In a nutshell, these did not disappoint me. The bass is super punchy and deep. The mids have the right amount of firmness and punch, and the highs resonate deep in your head. I have a friend who had recently bought a pair of Monster N-Pulses and he is feeling buyer's remorse as we speak after wearing these and listening to them. The great thing about these, too, is that you can swap headbands and cables to make your own statement. These headphones are all about you, all day every day. I would not pass these up.

Just bought these a couple days ago and they are awesome! Did not expect these headphones to sound so great for the price I bought them at. I have listened to other headphones and nothing else touches these at the price point!

This is a great headphone. The sound is great, loud, clear. Oh, don't forget about the BASS. It is incredible. This headphone will make you feel like you're living the music.

Well my friend has the Beat by Dre Solo. I wanted those... BAD. But I didnt want to pay so much money. I listen to alot of BASS heavy music so i NEEEDEDD BASS. These gave exaclly what I wanted. These are for Hip-Hop Rap and i guess Rock? IDK I dont listen to rock but rock music has bass. -THESE ARE BETTER THAN THE SOLOS, SOULS, AVIATORS, HESH, AND THOSE PHILLPS AND BOSE HEADPHONES ON DISPLAY AND *WHEN IT COMES TO BASS THESE ARE BETTER THAT THE HOUSE OF MARELY. -THESE ARE NOT BETTER THAN THE SOLOS HD AND STUDIOS. Case closed GET THESE BECAUSE OF THE PRICE BUT IF U HAVE THE MONEY GET THE SOLO HD's BECAUSE OF PORTABLITY AND A LITTLE MORE BASS.

ok so these headphones are great; if you listen to hip hop, rap, dubstep, etc. if you listen to alternative genres like rock and stuff they will still sound good, but other headphones will do a better job. if you are an audiophile and you like extremely natural and balanced headphones to not buy these. they have great bass, more than normal headphones. they mids are sometimes recessed, but overall they are good. the highs can separate from the mids too much sometimes, but again overall are pretty good. especially for the price. IF I COULD DESCRIBE THESE CANS IN THREE WORDS IT WOULD BE "WARM, SMOOTH AND CUSHY" and that's exactly what they are suppose to be. sol republic states that these headphones are a pleasant change from the normal hollow headphones. these sound very full and warm. and nothing is muddy, always smooth. nothing is too harsh. i got these because i want headphones i can use when i'm warming up for sporting events, and they work great. they can sometimes get a little uncomfortable and hurt your ears a little, but overall they are comfy, especially after you break in the cushions a little. THESE HEADPHONES LOOK AWESOME. AND FEEL STURDY. and they are sturdy. the only way you can break these things is to actually try to break them. and the headband is almost impossible to break. the only thing you could do to make these stop working is throw them under water, slice the cord, or completely smash the "sound engines". so overall these are great for hip hop mostly, are durable as steel, look amazing, and are decently comfortable. and reasonably priced.

These headphones are awesome. They have the perfect balance of highs, mids and lows in any type of music you are listening to. I would recommend these over Beats because Beats by Dre focus more on bass than on anything else. You will not be disappointed with these headphones!

High quality headphones that are very sturdy and have great sound. They can adjust to your head so they are very comfortable.

For the price... definitely not worth it. They do sound good, but there are several other cans out there for less that sound as good or better. The cups on these were pretty small too. I have normal size ears and they were tight, which was uncomfortable. I would say that they sound better than Beats (which are absurdly over-priced). The bass is good and accurate, but if you're a basshead, look else where. I also think they are some of the coolest looking cans I've seen, but not worth $250.

This headphone is amazing. I first had the Tracks On-Ear for 2 years. I was really impressed then by the quality of sound coming out of the headphones. And then I saw this one on sale and took the plunge. Man, I was very, very impressed with this headphone. The sound is very clear and really the HD on it live to its claim. I highly recommend this one.
