I got this pair of headphones for Christmas last year and they are amazing. They sound really good for the price. The best part is it's virtually indestructible and it's completely customize-able. I just recently got an awesome USA headband to go with it.

Bought On An Impulse And Turned Out To Be As Great If Not Better Than The Beats. It Gets Better, They Are Only Half As Much.!! If You Want A Good Pair Of Headphones With Good Lows And Mids Then This Is The Pair You Want. I Listen To Alot Of Dubstep And Man Are All The Drops Better Than Ever. So I Definitely Recommend Getting These.

I'll be honest when I first open the package I didn't have hope for them but sense I bought them they held up pretty well and the price was fair compare to other name brand. I've also found myself using this more then my other headsets and I've even fallen asleep with them on. Music is well balance but I took a star off because the bass is a little overwhelming but it's manageable. Overall, I like them and will enjoy them for some time.

I love these headphones. I've compared them with my friends Beats and both of us preferred mine. For half the price of them with the same if not better quality you will love these headphones. Since all of the parts are the own separate thing (sound engines, headband, cable) if anything should ever break or you just want to customize them, it's really simple! Especially if something breaks (I've had mine about a year and that's yet to happen) you don't have to get a whole new pair of headphones.

my brother actually had a pair of these and that is why i tried them... My husband has the Bose noise canceling headphones and when I bought those for him I was debating those or Dre's beats, if these headphones would've been around like 3 years ago I would've bought these over the Bose. I absolutely LOVE them!!!!! The sound is crisp and clear! perfect for an airplane ride or anywhere! I also like the size and design, a lot of the over ear headphones I feel look big but these actually fit girls too and don't look bulky. I went to Los Angeles over the weekend and noticed a good amount of people with them on so other people think the same way I do...I already got myself a pair and a couple of my friends that have tried them love them too and have purchased. Definitely a purchase you wont regret!!!!!!!

You will not be disappointed! These headphones were given to me at a conference as a prize.....I would pay every penny for them! I challenge you to take a pair of Beat's headphones and hear the difference........and you won't see a difference, except half the price. Don't believe me, then go to Best Buy Mobile and ask them to take a pair out.

I personally own Sol Republic Tracks and believe they are honestly the best bang for your buck. I have previously owned a pair of Dr. Dre Beats Solo HD, and when I received my Tracks I compared both, and I personally believe the SOL Republics performed at least as equally as good as the Beats at just half the price, they're a given. I personally recommend SOL Republics not only for the great sound quality, but also their great customer service, and their participating "www.soldierofsound.com" website.

I picked up these headphones to use on a daily basis so that I wouldn't have to worry about anything happening to my Bose or Sennheiser headphones (both of which are $250+). I wanted something that had decent sound quality, it was durable (which means no Beats, those are complete trash), and I wanted them to look a little stylish. These are definitely fashion headphones. What I mean by that is that they favor design and looks first over sound quality. The entire Beats By Dre line are like this, the SMS audio line, Skullcandy, and many others are all like this. They come out with snazzy looking headphones that favor color choices and design over audio quality. In my opinion, Sol Republic is the least "evil" of these companies. The Tracks are on par with headphones that cost $150-$200 from those other companies yet are just as stylish and offer more after-market customization options (such as replacing the headband, cable wire, or even buying new drivers all together). The sound quality of these are comparable (I think a little better) to the Beats Solo HD models yet cost $80 less. The headband can also be bent in every which direction without breaking and it will go back to its original form. Bending a Beats Solo HD headband will cause it to break. These are even more durable than those all metal Beats headphones which were advertised as being indestructible. The durability of the Tracks are even beyond that of the Beats Mixr which as "...most durable headphone ever." I highly recommend the Tracks if you are looking for bass-heavy sound yet don't want to overpay for the likes of Beats by Dre or the SMS audio line from 50 Cent. The sound quality isn't going to live up to other brands in this price range (Sony, Sure, Sennheiser, Grado, etc.) but that is to be expected from a pair of fashion headphones. I find these to be very comfortable and use them everyday whether I am in my office, lab, or walking to classes. They fit fine, are able to isolate outside noise rather nicely, and don't have much sound leakage. These are my go-to everyday headphones due to their durability and lower prices. Techno, dubstep, rap/hip-hop, and pop really shines with these as the lows and mids are heavily favor. People looking for a more balanced option should turn to the Track HDs as the lows and mids are dialed back a little while the highs are turned up just a bit. The Tracks Ultra are best suited for acoustic music as their bass is really lacking (pretty much the opposite direction of the Tracks) while the highs are heavily favored. I mainly listen to metal with my Tracks and I'm pretty content though people in the metal community tend to be divided as to whether they prefer more bass or more highs (I started choosing my own music in the mid-90's and I watched a lot of MTV so I favor bass). The price may seem high when compared to Sony, Sennheiser, etc. and it is. However, the price is on the low side for a pair of fashion headphones especially when Beats and SMS are charging $180 and $200 (respectively) for headphones that sound no better than these and are less durable.

These headphones are amazing. They have clear highs and amazing bass. Well worth the price which is great considering how good these headphones are. Just as good as much more expensive brands while so much cheaper. The super flexible headbands are awesome too, practically impossible to break and interchangeable with all SOL Republic On ear or over ear headphones.

These headphones are fantastic. Good lows, defined mids, and well heard highs. You can quite literally bend them until the headband is flat and it doesn't break. However, the achilles heel of these headphones are the cable. It breaks very, very easily. It is interchangeable, and the cables are around 10-15 dollars on amazon, but I would recommend that you go for the wireless ones to avoid this problem.

Love the sleek design of the headphones and the deep bass. I also like that the head band can be removed and so can the cables that connect the cans to you device. I wish the leather stuff that pads the headphones was cooler, because it gets hot and make my ear sweaty. Other than that, I'm happy.

I have been wanting to purchase some Beats by Dre on-ear headphones for awhile, but couldn't see paying $200+ for them. Then I read a review on these Sol Republics and I was sold on the price! They look & sound great and probably sound exactly the same as the Beats! Save your money and try these out instead. Now I'm curious to know what the HD versions will sound like.

These headphones are surprisingly awesome. I have used these for music and gaming and would not trade them for anything. Considering the endless possibilities to customize them as you go!?!? #winner

These headphones are absolutely amazing, by far they are on of the most durable and replaceable headphones that I have ever had. They have replaceable and customizable bands, multiple sound engines, and wires that you can all buy. I definitely recommend buying these for any purpose you need them for whether you are a dj, a producer, or a casual person just wanting to listen to music.

These SOL Republic Tracks are well-crafted and exude quality, right out of the box. The packaging is simple, but the presentation is nice--a minimalist design masking a sonic surprise. These "V8 sound engines" deliver on everything that one would expect from a premium headset--full-bodied sound that caters to a bass-loving crowd. The cable is detachable, and can be swapped for different colors. Same is true of the virtually unbreakable headband. So, those are pretty much the "pros". The "cons" are few and far between, but they were significant-enough for me to return them to the store, the day after I bought them. These are medium-sized 'phones and are designed to rest on top of the ear openings, for most people. I have small ears, and this design is uncomfortable for me, after about an hour of listening. Plus, the cushions didn't allow for ventilation, so my ears would heat-up quickly. Also, these 'phones are not compatible with Sony Ericsson Xperia #Android# smartphones. Even with the special adapter. This really broke me to pieces, because these headphones sound fantastic with my laptop and tablet, but I can't get them to work with my smartphone or either of my old Creative ZEN mp3 players--a definite deal-breaker. But, for those of you who have an Apple device or a different brand of Android smartphone, these may work well for you. Just be aware that with Android devices, you might not be able to use any or all of the functions on the little remote that comes on the one cable included with these. At the present, there is no remote-less cable offered from SOL Republic. Good luck, and jam out!

I just purchased these headphones from my local BB. I must admit for the price they are awesome. I purchased Beats By Dre and these headphones sound very similar considering there are made from of the son of the CEO of monster. These are definitely a great buy.

The sound of these headphones are AWESOME! Clean bass, clear highs and mids. THe sound is very equalized to almost perfection, no wonder a lot of people say these headphones are better than Monster Beats by Dre. The only thing that made me rate this 3/5 stars is that they are very uncomfortable if you wear glasses. The headphones actually cover your ear and squish them...

I love the way these sound, real crisp and the bass really stands out, my favorite. I ended up buying another pair just this past year of tracks & also JAX. The tracks are completely customize-able. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
