Temperature limits battery function

For colder climates such as Minnesota it will have limited function (-5 Deg F). Better to buy the 120 Volt version (Spotlight Cam Mount). Unfortunately only available at the Ring Website. Hopefully Best Buy will have this available at some future time.

I installed the ring cameras and I haven’t done anything else to it. I didn’t have this before and I had to charge the battery every two weeks. Now only during the winter time the batteries of the ring go really low because there is no sun.

My only concern about getting them was re charging the battery packs, I'm a senior and don't climb on ladders unless I absolutely have to. The solar panel let's me feel secure with the ring cameras and not have worry about falling off the ladder.
