This is the second one that we have purchased because the one we use on the front of the house has been so great. I definitely don't miss crawling up to the roof and changing the stuff out.

My cameras get a lot of activity and I was charging the batteries about every two weeks. With the solar panels my camera batteries have been keeping a full charge. Super easy to install and they really do the job.

The one that has the solar panel is great. I don't have to worry about recharging the battery as I do with the other camera without panel. I wish I had the luxury of having a panel for both cameras!

Still have to charge battery with electricity but not nearly as often without the panel. I have two batteries in my spotlight and will charge by electricity every couple of months as opposed to every two weeks.

After reading your review, it seems that your Ring Solar Panel is not fully charging your Ring Spotlight Camera Battery. Ring recommends at least three to four hours of direct sunlight, depending on your usage. Make sure there are no obstructions that could be casting a shadow on your solar power device, such as an extended roof, tree branches, or bushes. If your installation area is frequently very cloudy or gets a lot of rain or snow, this could limit the amount of sunlight that your solar power device receives.
The solar panel requires direct sunlight. Filtered/indirect sunlight through the clouds will not provide a charge to your doorbell/camera. I finally got tired of having to climb a ladder and recharge the batteries. I purchased the solar panels to keep the batteries charged. Best decision ever. The cameras have been constantly charged.

Saves you from having to recharge battery’s and constantly taking them down and back up. I would highly recommend.
