no need to keep on charging battery, this is the best solar panel

Great item to keep your spot light working while saying money

This is pretty cool for only 50$ and will complement my Ring system but it has only a 20ft cord and I could use a 30 or 40 foot cord. Also the mounting bracket it comes with is just plastic and should be metal instead.

The spotlight solar panel would be awesome if you didn't have to replace battery when it die. I had to change battery 3x's since I bought it 3 months ago. It's a HEADACHE getn on ladder to replace battery. If u dnt change battery it will stop monitoring area and that sucks. If u can let me knw some kinda way I dnt have to change battery every month I wud highly recommend this product. I guess it's still gud to have.

I purchased the solar panel because in the winter it became a challenge to constantly climb up and take the video camera down to charge the battery. I write that it's questionable because, even though I now have the solar panel, you still have to rely on the battery. I did not know about this issue and I'm pretty disappointed. I want to give it a five star but what good is it if you still have to recharge the battery?

This solar works great. Its extremely easy to connect. I mounted mine to the roof of my gazebo facing skyward so there are different ways to mount it. My battery is always at 100% 24/7. I recommend this to anyone wanting the wireless setup.

I bought a ring thinking the battery would last as long as the box states, this was not correct. If your a checker of the live view on your Ring app, you need this solar panel.

Works well, never had an issue l with my item staying charged

The product came in a timely manner, especially since it was before x mass. Still haven’t had time to get it up yet. Busy schedule yucky weather. Hopefully will get it up soon. Really excited to try it out.

So far it has done its job keeping my camera charged, however I wish I could see it in the app as a device like all the other devices so that I could monitor it's efficiency. Otherwise it seems to be working great. Also wish the cord was longer so it could be placed further away from the camera

It’s a good product to have so I can recharge your cameras

It works fine. I placed my camera high above my porch. I didn't want to climb a ladder every time I had to change a battery. It did the trick. Be aware that if you live in a snowy climate, you have to put the panel somewhere it won't be bothered by falling snow otherwise it won't charge the camera.

Purchase with my Ring security camera. As with the camera, the setup was pretty easy. I would recommend this for those with great sun light and those who can not have a hard connection with their camera.

Solar power is always a good choice. After some trial and error we found the perfect spot and position for this solar panel, and our Ring spotlight camera is always ready for action, even if it's just a curious squirrel that sets it off.

You still have to charge just not as often. Maybe in the summer itll run a longer charge

I have spotlight cams that I have been charging with solar panels for "YEARS" so I bought 2 more for another house. And now 2 more.

This was purchased to supplement the stick up cam so that I do not have to replace or recharge the battery as often. The installation was quick and easy.
