Ring solor panel

When I bought the solor panel along with the camera light two way speaker alarm. The solor panel is to keep the camera light speaker batteries charged I can't climb a platter onto my tile roof to charge the batteries when needed. So when I was at Bestbuy I asked the sales guy to show me the ring & another camera to cover my driveway & cars. He reccomend the spotlight camera along with solar panel to keep the batteries charged so I don't have to worry about charging them. I also hired the geek squad to install everything plus a one year membership with them. All was great until two days ago the spotlight camera started showing low battery, I'm wondering what the heck they told the solor panel is suppose to keep those batteries charged that's what the solar panel is for. Unless something came lose or whatever happen. When I bought it I was sold this package deal so the batteries stay charged. It would be hard to impossible for me to do it. Other than that issue, I love the spotlight camera, so something happen to the solar panel to make it stop charging the camera. I'll call geek squad & have them come out & see if something came lose on solar panel.

After reading your review, it seems that your Ring Solar Panel is unresponsive. Ring recommends at least three to four hours of direct sunlight, depending on your device's battery usage. Make sure there are no obstructions that could be casting a shadow on your solar power device such as an extended roof, trees branches, or bushes. While your solar power device will extend your battery’s life and the time between needed recharges, it does not eliminate the need to recharge your battery. Please ensure the panel is properly connected to the camera device by following these instructions: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360027341612-Connecting-Your-Super-Solar-Panel-to-Your-Spotlight-Cam.
