I have 3 around my home and much needed solar panels but had issues with kids breaking car windows recently and all 3 cameras went out battery that same day due to supposedly the cold weather. Now I need to upgrade to wired cameras. Thanks but no thanks

The Solar Panel for the Ring Spotlight Cam and Stick Up Cam Battery was certainly intended to extend the battery life on your Ring camera, so you can rely on your security device for longer periods of time without recharging the battery. We can definitely provide you with more information regarding the concern mentioned in your review.
It sounds like your Ring Solar Panel is not charging your device as expected. Ring solar products require direct sunlight to stay charged and provide power to the device. If the weather is cloudy or it rains or snows, this would limit the direct sunlight your device receives, which would lessen the charge. Colder temperatures may also cause your device's lithium-ion battery to drain excessively. With prolonged cloudy or winter weather, you may need to manually recharge the battery more frequently. When sunny weather returns and the solar panel receives enough direct sunlight again, it will keep the device powered.
