Purchased this tv on a sale price. Highly satisfied with the picture and sound. No complaints.

I bought this just as a game TV since it was on sale for a really great price. Didn't expect too much. I knew Toshiba was a reputable brand, but wasn't sure how it would stand up to Samsung, sharp, etc. I am impressed by this tv. It is a great size and the picture is great. One thing that is really amazing is the sound on this thing. I literally only need to put the volume on 5 or 6 and it is loud. Highly rexommend

The picture is crisp, and very clear. The gaming system, and the quality of the picture comes In very crisp. It looks real. We are so pleased with the purchase! Thank you.

We enjoyed this TV thoroughly while it worked in the 4 years that it was functional. However, it recently stopped displaying a picture and had no sound. We did all of the basic troubleshooting things, but finally learned after doing more research that this is reported to be a common problem with this particular television. I wanted to see if maybe I could find an intermediate fix for it, and did the "flashlight test" in a dark room which entails shining a flashlight on the screen after powering it on, then clicking menu, shining the light in the left side where the menu would display, and then seeing if I could see any image. I could, and I did more research to see what the particular problem might be, how much the part(s) would cost to repair myself (I have intermediate electronics repair experience) and how tedious it would be. It most likely is the LED driver, according to what I've read thus far, but frankly I've got more research to do before making a final decision to disassemble this, get the part and try the repair. I would get the same TV again if I saw it at a bargain price, because the picture and sound were good. However, I just wanted to make others aware that this is a possibility with this TV, but if it does happen, try the flashlight test before tossing it out.

The only thing that I didn't like and would be deal breaker next time is waiting or trying to find someone to help me, when customers see workers standing & joking around!!

Positives: Great value. You get a lot for your money. It's also very lightweight, thin, and has easy access to the HDMI ports. I also like that you can drive amplified speakers from the earphone jack and that volume control adjusts the earphone volume. Not all TV's do that. Negative: I find the image to be a bit too bright and high contrast. I guess this should be a good thing, but I would prefer a softer image. This is a very minor quip!

I purchased this TV as a sale item. It was an excellent value and I just couldn't pass it up. When I got it home and fired it up, it ran beautifully from the moment I turned it on until now, almost a year later, and have had no problems at all. It's easy to establish settings and to operate. Nice features, beautiful color and brightness. Toshiba has earned my respect for great quality.

When I went to buy on Black Friday. I wasn't expecting a this tv to be this great it huge with great sound and great quality. I still can't I got it only for 150!!

I did not want a tv with super HD that I can't even see, I also wanted a dumb tv as I use amazon fire tv so no need for the tv to be smarter than me. Believe it or not it is getting harder and harder to find regular tv's like this which is all a guy needs. It big, it's in color, and to me looks just as good as the $5k 4k tv. And sounds good too I actually didn't need the sound bar I had bought.

I bought this Toshiba on black Friday for an awesome deal! It has turned out to be a great TV, perfect picture, good sound, overall really happy with my purchase!

You can't find a better tv for the price. The sound is awesome and picture is crisp and clear. For a 1080 tv this is easily the one of the best finds out there.

this 49 inch tv is a good large size, perfect for my room but light weight to set up alone, with great color and the price was very good for anyone on a budget

Bought this TV during black Friday doorbusters and I'm very pleased with the picture quality. Much happier with it then store employees wanted you to believe.

The T.V. was a impulse buy. It is a little small for the room I have. The picture is good. The amount of inputs and the size for the money you cannot beat!!!

I'm impressed with the quality picture provided by this Toahiba model. The remote is intuitive, contrast is awesome, and sound quality better than expected.

I don't use it much because I am in the military, but I use it for gaming and it looks awesome, big TV like this for $150.00 on Black Friday is pretty good.
