This is a fine quality HD TV w excellent reception & performance overall. It takes a bit of getting used to some of the more intricate steps to control certain features/functions. It is crisp, very good w dark colors, good flesh tones, good volume control. Great to use w my new Apple TV. V happy w purchase.

I bought this TV in a pinch after my Samsung was unceremoniously removed from its shelf by my 3 year old. The TV and Menu options are easy to use, the sound is decent, the picture is ok. It is great for the 279 price tag, but compared to a samsung 1080 or any other 4k flat screen, the picture quality is lacking.

I have had two Toshiba TV's in the past, and was looking for another one. One of my Toshibas has lasted almost nine year and it is still going strong. I was upgrading from a 40 inch and wanted to get a 50 inche without having to pay upwards of $800.00. This is a great tv for the money (not a Samsung) but the picture is just as good.

This TV is being used in our guest room and is a very nice tertiary TV. It has a good picture and decent speakers......could be used with a sound bar to enhance veiwing pleasure. I paid less than $300 on sale for ia 49" HDTV at Best Buy!

We needed a 40 in TV and found this 49in TV for a great price. Easy setup, great picture with a little settings adjustment. Wish I could afford several more.

Got it on Black Friday special, so the price is part if my satisfaction. But it really does have a fantastic picture, so I would definitely recommend this tv if it ever goes on sale for $300 or so. Not smart and light on some other options, but throw a $50 blu-ray in for Netflix and this is really a special setup for under $200.

Bought this TV on special for black friday. I do have to say for the money, this is an excellent TV. The picture is on par with most other mid range flat panels and the speakers aren't too shabby either. The legs on the stand aren't the strongest in the world if you plan on moving the tv around with any frequency but they do their job and the tv is very stable.

Great picture & Sound was good for a flat screen. CRT Tvs always had superior sound to flatscreens (Without buying an additional sound system. No dedicated RCA inputs, but thats the way things are heading with TVs. Great buy for price point.

It is a very good HD 1080p TV for the price offered on Black Friday. It is not a smart TV, but nothing which cannot be achieved by simply adding a Roku device, Chromecast or even PC-on-a-stick like ASUS or Lenovo to turn it into smart TV. Add 5 year Geek Squad warranty for 30$ and it is one Excellent deal.

second toshiba tv i have owned they are great my first 1 is about 8 years old and still going strong
