I love this gadget! It has worked everywhere I’ve needed Wi-Fi and it is nice looking as well. The Solis plans are very affordable and very flexible. Very happy with this purchase!

I have set up several hotspots and this one was by far the most difficult. I had to set up at least 2 new accounts to get into the installation process. I was following their easy instructions but got hung up on reading the QR code. I would scan it, after 20 seconds I got the message 'Oops. It didn't work. Try again later." I know I tried at lease 15 times and always got the same message but no explanation of what was wrong so I assume it was on their end. I tried their online help and I never could find anything about that error message. I used the online support and got the message that they were not online. I spent at least 4 hours and finally reached my frustration breaking point and returned the item. Easy instructions were not.

I was very excited to get this to use traveling globally and also in the US. On the Solis website they give multiple options for subscriptions and costs including cheaper US only options. All of them were unavailable to me except the most expensive global option. The rest were “grayed out”. When I contacted their services, they took days to respond and didn’t fix the issue. I returned it.

It’s a decent device. The battery life is not the best. And the internet can be a bit slow even when in the city, I could only imagine while traveling.

This hotspot was not able to catch any WIFI providers. just an hour southwest of Mpls/St Paul . I was so hoping that this would be the answer to me finding a signal. Took the Solis hotspot back to Best Buy

I was excited about the Wifi hotspot because I needed it to connect my laptop to work from home. I paid for the $90 10gb plan and that sucked my bank account dry. For $90 Solis should provide for data. I spent $200 in 4 days because my kids connected their phones and laptops to it also. So I stopped using it after two weeks and I had cable wifi installed.

It’s nice if there is a cell signal and it will pick the best carrier Verizon, AT&T, or t-mobile. But it’s honestly not worth the money when you can use your phone as a hotspot.

SLOW, Sluggish, less high-speed data on unlimited monthly plan than on a cell phone plan for the same cost. Would have returned it if the return policy had been longer than 14 days.

Bad service, really poor tech support , the product could be good with help to start up and use it , I felt misled about the whole deal and returned it ASAP and am in a dispute about a 30 Unlimited USA Wi-Fi then I was never able to use they had no desire to try and credit it back or even work with me in anyway I just want the money

This is supposed to be a global hotspot. It’s not! It will only work if they have a partner network in the area. Rural areas, forget it. We were even right next to an interstate and it wouldn’t work. However, driving from coast to coast, it worked great.

Good product that came in very good package. And the shipping is faster than the expected date. Thank you.

Don't waste your cash. Your cell phone hotspot is way better and a lot less expensive. The only valuable thing about this is that I now have a bright orange paperweight. But I don't like the color orange. So... Yeah. Pass this one up.

Dependable WiFi hotspot, this is used in a rural setting and produces a good WiFi connection.

I thought this product would be useful for home use, and it’s not! The gigs run out so fast and are expensive to reload there is no option of monthly WiFi payments on the app. The app is actually not helpful only for battery life.

I was very excited by the reviews I read. This device could barely handle one device let alone several in spite of their claims. Stopped using it. A waste of money

So far so good! I've been using it in the car and for mobile work locations.

Bought this for our camper, but it can't seem to hold a signal. Even when it finds a signal, the network doesn't show on our phones. Tried to connect to it at home, but phones still couldn't see it. One of 2 laptops was able to connect at the house, but not at the camper. So, it's pretty much useless for us. I'll be trying to return it.

On 11/19 Saturday I bought a 1GB pay as you plan. I used it for 1/2 mainly browsing websites. Both my phone and MacBook use low data mode for Solis. Next, the app says you have no plan. If I exhausted the data, it should say that. There is no visibility in what device used how much data. There is no support, the app live chat support no one responds. The return windows was 14 days so stuck with this device. Overall, I cannot recommend this device to anyone.
