BETTER THAN YOU WERE TOLD
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start by saying that the parts I liked about The Last Jedi, I really liked and same with the things I didn't like. I found it to be a little too serious, and without one of the original main characters, it felt off-balance to me. Now that you know where I'm coming from, I with tell you that Solo: A Star Wars Story, IMO, brought back the fun of Star Wars. Seeing Han and Chewbacca meet for the first time alone makes the movie worth watching. No, it's not perfect; A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back are probably the only two that should have 5-Stars. Things like Han receiving his last name and the antagonist surprise are a bit too heavy-handed for me. That being said, I believe there is more to like than dislike: Donald Glover as Lando, the Kessel Run, a pristine version of the Milleneum Falcon... So much fun, Star Wars is Star Wars again!

Not great, not bad

I don’t get the deal with Solo and Rogue One being prequels under Disney but actually making sense in terms of story unlike Episodes 7 and 8. This being quite a good film puts even more shame on those monstrosities.
