I was unable to see the movie in the theater and thought based on reviews during its release that it was not going to be good. I ended up picking it up on 4K and was pleasantly surprised. I thought Alden did a fantastic job as Han.

Standard DVD of the new Star Wars film Solo... As a fan of the series a must buy to keep the collection going! Would also recommend the other versions of the DVD if you are seeking special features along with the film!

Solo is a fun "bank heist" type movie set in the Star Wars Galaxy. While not a perfect movie, it certainly didn't deserve all the negativity. A very different feel from the other Star Wars movies, but enjoyable in its own right.

Really enjoyed the movie. 4k image quality is as good as the source material probably allows. Audio suffers from Disney's (typical of late) reduced output levels and lack of low end. Not terrible, but not great either.

Great film, love the back story and tie-ins. My only complaint would be the “agenda” Lando’s copilot is pushing. Leave the politics in this galaxy, Disney, I watch Star Wars because it’s entertaining, opposite everything else on TV

It’s a good story. The lightning made it hard see what was happening at times, and it takes a little bit to get used to the new solo, but that’s just minor things. Over all I enjoyed it very much. I’m looking forward to the next one.

Not sure why this movie got such harsh reviews. I really had a lot of fun with it and the special features are very thorough and cover the entire film. I think it makes for a great addition to every collector’s shelf.

Pretty entertaining still even though I personally didn't like the actor who played the young Han Solo... Other than that still somewhat enjoyed the movie and the steelbook packaging is a nice touch and a must have for any collector!

This is a very good film. I think it has it all except it did not have what appeared to be as the same or similar music score as the other Star Wars films have had. This movie is highly underrated. Get it and enjoy.

This is my favorite Star Wars film since Disney has taken over the franchise. Plus Best Buy always makes the movie better with the addition of the steelbook, which for me as a collector of all things nerd, is awesome.

SOLO was a solid movie. Well acted, good story, entertaining, and it fits well in the Star Wars Story "solo stories." Good replay value as well. It's no the best of them all, but it's far from the worst — I'm talking to you JarJar.

I know some people gave Solo a bad rap when it was in theaters and I honestly don't understand why. It is a great movie with some great background into the underground of the Star Wars universe and is a fun watch!

In the long run I believe Solo: A Star Wars Story will come to be known as one of the better Star Wars films. It's a very fun enjoyable movie and I think that most reviews from people who actually went and saw the film would agree.

I skipped this one in the theaters to avoid disappointment and it ended up being much better than I thought, I am glad I waited in a sense because no I own it on DVD for much less than it would cost me to see it once in the theater

Loved this. Actually filled in a couple of blanks in the story. Good story and special effects and actually an over all good movie (and worthy of a sequel in our opinion.) So IGNORE the critics and give it a look!!

I really like the steel book versions of these classic movies. Only drawback is they only offer them for limited time and if you miss out, you pay way more on the secondary market. Get them as soon as they come out!

Big Star Wars fan. Didn't watch it in the theaters do to the bad reviews, but I actually enjoyed it. Started reading the book many many years ago, but never finished it. Love the back story on Han, not what I was expecting at all.

The technical specs, packaging, and presentation are all top notch (woul dyou expect less from Disney for the Star Wars cannon?!), but as most all are aware of the saga of making this film, it wavers between excitement and hot mess throughout. You can tell Lord/Miller were shooting for an action-comedy, heavy on the comedy -- and Disney "stole" it back, brought in Howard to level it out a bit, and it feels cobbled, forced, and contrived in its need to tie up loose ends and explain much more than what it has/needs to. That's not to say there aren't some wonderfully fun sequences, and the supporting cast (led by swanky, smarmy Glover) is game.

as a Star Wars die hard, solo as a film was decent. not the best, not the worst. if you like Star Wars, see if. the steenbok case is utterly fantastic however. absolutely wonderful and gorgeous.

The movie got a ton of criticism for its production troubles, but it's actually one of the best fan service Star Wars side stories they've made in recent times! This 4k UHD steelbook edition looks great on my 4k tv!
