It won't protect the laptop in case of a drop but I envision this as something to carry your laptop around that looks good as well and fits a nice price point.

In hindsight, I would've rather purchased something with a little more protection, but since we're in remote working mode right now, no big deal. Perhaps when I have to head into the office, I'll upgrade.
