I don't think you'll have any issues with it. I only wish the inside used softer material to protect the screen.

I use a sleeve around the computer, then place the computer and sleeve in the bag; I have even dropped the bag with no damage to the computer. The side portion is big enough to fit a number of files and other work supplies.
