Picking up this case almost as an afterthought, I'm happy I bought it. First, it's more rugged than it seems. While extremely light with a feel some might think even "flimsy," it resists the pokes, dings and dents that life can throw at our vulnerable laptops. No, it won't survive a truck rolling over it - that's not what it's designed for. But if youu want to keep the scuffs n' scratches away, and do it with style, then this is your best bet. Only drawback: no compartments for your power cord/wall wart.
