Bought this for my new Dell 1500 laptop from Best Buy. Has great padding, and lots of storage area. Checked out all their bags in all price ranges, and this is the best value.

this is a great bag for laptops it can function as a backpack or as a bag. Everyone always comments on it and asks where i got it from it has a ton of space for papers also

I love my diverse bag. It is durable and comfortable. I can switch it up & don't have to worry about my laptop (or tablet, if I had one).

Great little bag. Just enough pockets to separate your charging unit, mouse, ear buds, memory sticks, etc.

The reason for 4 stars is that I fear for the longevity of the zippers of this bag, due to cautionary tales from other reviews that their laptops fell out in backpack mode due to zipper failure. I love the style and convertability of this bag. The laptop pouch area fits a 17" HP without stretching the velcro top strap or pouch itself, although I would not recommend straining the bag with too much weight (I have a separate bag for the 17"). Solo has a 5 year warranty if something is defective, so we shall see how that works if the zippers become an issue in the future. Everything seems rugged enough for now, only time will tell. I did get a padded sleeve for my MacBook just in case it ever falls out since I plan to use this mostly in backpack mode.

This is a very nice briefcase backpack. Made of high quality materials. Looks sharp and I get a whole lot of compliments. Love the fact that the backpack straps hide.

You can sling it over on shoulder. Carry it on your back as a backpack. Or you tote it as a briefcase. It has been quite durable. Held being in all sorts of ways.

This is a slick little bag. It is small and has nice compartmenst for documents. It can also be worn as a back pack which is really nice if you bike or walk long distances.

This is a very sturdy backpack. Along with my laptop I had my mouse, keyboard, notebook, and binder. I have used as a backpack and a sling over shoulder. The backpack straps are sturdy and easy to adjust on your back without dropping the backpack. The straps for the backpack, over the shoulder and hand carry are thick and padded. And the clips are thick and a need a little force to click on the straps. I love it because you need a little force to unclip it. So you know it’s not easy to come off during travel. I would highly recommend to a friend.
