For power supply, extension cord, mouse, earplugs, spare phone charger, occasionally bring along extra power for phone, lemonade water enhancer squirt (for tea, you know what I'm talking about, there is more to life than coffee). Space for paper, folders, etc. Like the additional shoulder pad when using shoulder strap. There is the backback straps option but, do not think there is enough heft to the overall case. Cut off the clips and arrayed the padded straps in zippered compartment to give additional protection to laptop.

Lightweight briefcase backpack

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The reason for 4 stars is that I fear for the longevity of the zippers of this bag, due to cautionary tales from other reviews that their laptops fell out in backpack mode due to zipper failure. I love the style and convertability of this bag. The laptop pouch area fits a 17" HP without stretching the velcro top strap or pouch itself, although I would not recommend straining the bag with too much weight (I have a separate bag for the 17"). Solo has a 5 year warranty if something is defective, so we shall see how that works if the zippers become an issue in the future. Everything seems rugged enough for now, only time will tell. I did get a padded sleeve for my MacBook just in case it ever falls out since I plan to use this mostly in backpack mode.
