Perfect Addition To A Backyard

Had to return and pay double for a different. Salesperson was good at first and when things started to go wrong would not return texts, emails or calls. Let me hanging and unable to use the equipment, when i needed his assistance.

You stated, "Products purchase were good, except the remote did not work after 5 minutes of use." The MAG 5.1R in-ceiling Speaker System does not include a remote control in the package, so I wonder if you are referring to another product. It also sounds like you could not get the level of help you needed at the store. Speakers are great subwoofer broke after 1.5 years

Best buy wont help either. They said because i didnt have a geek squad protection plan that they arent responsible. I took it into the store and the guy behind the counter was useless.

Plus best buy jacked me around with installation for over 2 months.

In one and a half years I might use it for 10 or 15 movies. Very disappointed with this :-( will reach out to customer support and see since its 1-year warranty only.

I won’t buy Sonance again

First surround sound purchase

My first time buying a surround system so I didn’t know much about the installation requirements, turns out this couldn’t be put in my house without a major work to my ceiling. The folks at Best Buy know their stuff and are very thorough so I swapped this out for a sound bar that I love.

Sonance - MAG Series 5.1-CH In-Ceiling Speaker Sys

Anticipated crisp clear sound, however sound, particularly voice, is "fuzzy." Has not proven to be a good system for either dialogue or music. Advisor indicated subwoofer was wireless (not for power). Box also stated subwoofer was wireless. Geek Squad installers stated an extra device is required for wireless operation. That device is yet to be determined, so the subwoofer is unusable.
