The quality of the speakers you can not beat. Definitely pricey but worth it. The subwoofer is not the best compared to others out there. But the overall package is second to none

I purchased x2 sets of these Sonance MAG Series 6 1/2" 5.1 In-Ceiling Surround Sound Speaker Systems. I used them in my 9.2.4 atmos setup. While these speakers sound great and offer a rich and immersed sound experience, I find them lacking in the tweeters as they often miss much of the higher pitched elements beyond 18khz. If you're just interested in using them for watching movies via a decent mid-level AVR like the Denon x3700h or x4700h,you'll definitely be well pleased. However, if you're looking to here crisp high hats, hi-symbols, or the sweet tingling of a metalic triangle chord that is often heard in jazz music, you'll constantly be left feeing as if you're missing something. I added external amplification to all the pre-outs of my 3700h reciever, thinking that perhaps the drivers were under-powered with my AVR's internal amps. Even with my Emotiva BasX3 driving my front stage, and my Outlaw 7000 driving my 4 Atmos heights, R and L side surrounds, and both R and L rear surrounds, the high tones seem to roll off before that pivotal crescendo in a high tonal pitch is ever reached. So, to sum it all up, great for movies!. Just ok for music. 4 stars!

This sound system sounds amazing! It really bring an experience to your personal home theater. If you are looking for a sound system to bring the movie theatre to your own home, then this is it. I honestly wish I had invested into something like this sooner. But better late than never… the system does not come with a receiver, however there are many affordable receivers that are comptable with this system that will not make you feel like you just burned a whole in your pocket. Highly recommend.

What a great deal! Purchase these on Deal of Day for $500.oo and well worth the price. The sound is amazing! You must have a receiver to connect to and plenty of speaker wire. I installed these in my master bedroom. You will need to cut 8.25 inch holes to mount the 5 speakers to the ceiling. I drilled 1/8 holes and checked for clearance before making final cuts. Be sure to plan ahead before you install these amazing speakers. Enjoy your movies!

One of the better sound systems for in ceiling installs. The directional speaker is simple to setup and flush mounted design looks and sounds great.

Love it. No wires to be seen, gets much louder than my standard Yamaha did with the small wall speakers. Good bass too. Make sure your receiver has good options to customize.
