Purchase these on Deal of Day for $500.oo and well worth the price. The sound is amazing! You must have a receiver to connect to and plenty of speaker wire. I installed these in my master bedroom. You will need to cut 8.25 inch holes to mount the 5 speakers to the ceiling. I drilled 1/8 holes and checked for clearance before making final cuts. Be sure to plan ahead before you install these amazing speakers. Enjoy your movies!

It really bring an experience to your personal home theater. If you are looking for a sound system to bring the movie theatre to your own home, then this is it. I honestly wish I had invested into something like this sooner. But better late than never… the system does not come with a receiver, however there are many affordable receivers that are comptable with this system that will not make you feel like you just burned a whole in your pocket. Highly recommend.

Good sounding speakers. The sub is just ok, but the speakers are good. I replaced the sub with a Martin Logan. Buy it when it's on sale!

Sub bottoms out on Christmas movie moderate volume

I used my receivers microphone to set it up, watched a new Christmas movie with the family on Netflix and this sub was bottoming out bad in the deep base. I currently run a Klipsch 10 inch and the sonance isn’t even remotely close. The Klipsch never bottoms out. Well. If you think you are getting 2k worth of speakers for 600$, think again. I don’t think the sub is defective, I just think it can’t handle the 100watts the little amp is supplying to it. The in ceiling speakers look nice but I can’t justify keeping this kit with such a terrible sub. In the end I will return this kit, keep my current Klipsch sub and look for a different brand of in ceiling speakers. The reason for the change is simply because I’m building a new house and want to move away from the large free standing speakers.
