These speakers are awesome. More than enough volume for a quarter acre backyard. The sub really helps with the bass most outdoor speakers are lacking.

Super easy to set up and the sound is super clear. The integration of the Sonos amp is great and it powers the set up with ease. When installed the bass doesn't extend as far as a previous in ground sub I used, but it seems clearer and I think I prefer the clarity over the very small loss in bass at farther distances from the sub. Honestly, would buy again if needed and recommend to others! Purchased on sale; the price was amazing! Delivery was scheduled and they arrived within the window offered and were quick to hand off the box; great experience!

I've been impressed with the quality of these speakers. I've got them set up in a straight line along a portion of my back wall and spaced about 15 feet apart alternating left and right channels. I've got the subwoofer in the middle of the line. The sound is covering a rectangular area of approximately 7,500 square feet. Half of the area they cover is the pool area and the other half is a grassy play area. I can set the volume to 60 (out of 100) on the Sonos Amp and can comfortably hear the sound 50 feet away while not being too loud if you're 20 feet away. The subwoofer puts out a ton of bass. I've only had the speakers for a couple of months but so far they haven't disappointed. If you can get this speaker package when it's on sale ($1,500 or less), I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.

This is exactly what I wanted. Nice clear crisp directed audio for my pool and patio area. This system is not going to provide booming outdoor concert level audio but it’s not intended for that. It good for gatherings, private parties and friends. Having the sonos amp driving the speakers makes it easy and just works.

I've been waiting a long time to get these installed. Just installed them and WOW WOW WOW. They sound fantastic. The bass is significantly more than I was expecting, but I think I have an ideal install location, its in the corner of two cinder block privacy walls. The bass radiates throughout the entire yard. It's amazing. I don't think I'll be able to turn it past 50% to ensure good neighborly relationships. The sound is very directional and keeps it well contained. I can barely hear it upstairs with the windows opens, but in the yard it sounds super clear. This is exactly what I was hoping for. A couple of points for install. You definitely want a round jacket stripper and a good wire stripper, it will make the install go so much faster. I have them spaced anywhere from 10-15 ft apart due to the layout of my yard. If you want no drop outs, 8-12 is probably ideal. At 15 the sound has a gap, but its ok in my case as I was trying to get coverage in a separate section of my yard. This is a perfect package for smaller to medium sized yards.

This outdoor sound system is great it’s been up and going for 2 yrs. Sound is great and it’s very easy to use. Th sub woofer puts out a lot of base would recommend to anyone who wants music in there back yard.

Installation for straightforward, and the speakers are high quality and blend in with the landscaping. The Sonos amp is a nice touch and delivers crisp power to the speakers.

I’ve always wanted outdoor speakers but could never find the perfect ones. The mounted speakers are great but my backyard is large and the sound would only travel so far. Also I wasn’t a huge fan of the fake rock looking speakers. When I saw these I knew that this was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I could place the speakers exactly where I want them so that as you walk around the backyard, there is perfect music and sound with every step! I absolutely love these speakers and almost no one can even tell they are speakers! They blend perfectly with our landscape. Also the install was very easy! I would definitely recommend!

Very clear and easy to install Great sound and base

This makes hanging out in the backyard so much better. I ended up putting the sub and 3 speakers around my patio then ran 3 speakers to the other side of the yard by the kid's swing set. This way, the entire yard is filled with music and you even get some of the bass on the other side of the yard. It was very easy to setup and sounds way better than any bluetooth speaker you will bring outside.

Sonos speakers are truly outstanding. They deliver balanced, clear sound that enhances the backyard experience and creates a fun, lively atmosphere. I would definitely recommend these to anyone seeking outdoor entertainment.

Phenomenal system. Excellent sound quality. Fantastic app to control your various music app (Pandora, Apple Music, SiriusXM, etc) all in one place. We purchased and installed 2 systems in our backyard. The only bummer was the wiring was not included. We ended up purchasing 250 feet of 14/4 speaker cable from Amazon. It ended up working out great. We also ended up purchasing 2 waterproof junction boxes from Home Depot to house the amps so they could be installed outside. Dollar for dollar this is the best full outdoor system we could find. The subwoofer pounds out the base! The small speakers are very clear and loud. Quality all around. We got it on sale for $1000 off each system. When it is on sale, we highly recommend buying this system.

So glad we pulled the trigger on this system. The sound quality is exceptionally crisp, with a great base and has zero distortion at the highest volume setting. We used the linear installation outlined in the instructions with base in the center. We have a very large pool area, and I was a bit skeptical that the 6.1 would effectively provide enough sound coverage. Wrong! The sound is incredible from any and every area of the pool, even at the gazebo area at the top of the water slide. The Sonos App is simple to use, and I can easily play Pandora, Spotify, or any other music library I have available. I don’t need to leave my phone at the pool either. It keeps playing through our Eero mesh system when I’m in the house or on another part of the property. I am thankful for all the informative and detailed reviews. I read every one of them and it really helped with installation, wiring, etc. Followed Eric C’s rec and purchased 100ft of wire from Amazon. Great choice. I highly recommend this system to anyone looking to create a high-quality outdoor sound feature. My only regret is not doing this years ago.

This is a great system. It has a great sound and good volume. Easy connectivity. Wait for the sale they go on sale frequently.

Outstanding sound and it runs off our existing Sonos app. We have them placed around our pool and the quality is excellent. We did have to run an HDMI cable from an outdoor TV to the receiver, but in the end, that works the best since there's a direct line and no delay in the sound like you get sometimes with Bluetooth.

This system delivers excellent sound! I purchased two sets, one for the pool and one as background speakers. The sub provides the perfect amount of lows, it gets plenty loud for our application. The Sonos amp does surprisingly well, and integrates via airplay with my Denon receiver and 2 juke audio devices. In total powering 40 speakers over 5 amplifiers. I may purchase a third one of these for outside!

GREAT addition to my outdoor landscaping with six speakers of surrounded the whole pool and with the built in subwoofer that buried in the yard it gets great sound which is directional and loud enough to enjoy the pool, but not so loud that the neighbors complain highly recommend it

Thought it was very expensive for what I was getting, but really enjoy the sound and all the components in the system. The sound is really nice, including the bass for this set-up. It really fills up the back yard with some great sounding audio with the 6 speakers. So far so good! Very clear for what I expedited. Speaker wire was very expensive too, but install was rather easy. I hope it will survive the Texas heat!
