The instructions are good, and should be read, especially if you are not familiar with speaker connections, solder, and so forth. The sound is fine. They seem to be pretty balanced for the purpose, which is for surround sound in the home theater system, mounted in the ceiling. They are good speakers.

Great Atmos Peakers
