Very clear sound. Great mid range and highs - weak on the low end. I bought 14 of these to put throughout a new house build. I ended up building 1.25cu ft speaker boxes for these to be put into in the ceiling - that really helped the bass response. Even without the backbox, the speaker was a great value. My goal was crisp, clear sound coming from the ceilings in my house - and that is what these speakers gave me.

This is a good ceiling mounted speaker. Just know that the back of the speaker is deep and won't fit between walls. Also, the speaker is not encased like some other higher end in wall/in ceiling speakers. Can't beat the price that I got them for over Black Friday. I purchased two sets, but had to return one because the second set did not fit right with my configuration.

I’ve had a pair of the Sonance MAG6R speakers for a few years, and I liked them enough to add another pair. They deliver very good sound quality, even at very high volume, with clear and consistent performance. I also really like the nice, sleek grill design, which blends in cleanly with the ceiling.

Purchased these to fill out a 7.1 surround sound that I wanted mounted in my ceiling. These were a perfect fit and a perfect match. Very happy with my purchase!

I absolutely love these speakers. I like them so much, this is my second pair for another project & my wife bought me a 3rd pair for Christmas! My first purchase was for a project I did to my front porch. I was blown away with the quality & depth of sound that I didn't regret going with the 8 inch version. Full disclosure, I did purchase these on sale vs. the full MSPR. So I can't say how they stand up to other speakers in the $500 price range. At the sale price of $150 per pair, nothing compares.

This is a must buy if you are in the market for affordable, quality in-ceiling speakers. These things sound great and a fraction of the price.

Purchased two sets of these to add surround sound to living room space while maintaining a clean, uncluttered family friendly environment. Makes watching TV and movies more immersive and almost feels like you're in the theater. Midrange and highs are impressive while the lows can be better. Will need to have a dedicated subwoofer or two added to the sound system setup to handle the lows. Easy to install if you have basic home workmanship skills and electrical knowledge.

The speakers sound great they really add to my 7. 2 system. They mount perfectly in the ceiling and look great.

Do not let the price fool you! Sound on these speakers is phenomenal, you can also reposition them similar to sonos speakers but w/o the high cost. Buy this speakers, they are also easy to install and come with a template to cut the dry all. I have already recommended to fam and friends.

Very good speaker for the price. Sounds great and was easy to install. Has a decent bass response and the tweeter was crisp and clear. Was able to run the speakers near max without overloading them. Very happy with my purchase.

Budget price for premium speakers. At $170, there is not a better deal for premium brand speakers. These are even often on the deal of the day so they could be much cheaper. Also look for open box deals. They sound great for tv audio as well as music. Easy install for a typical DIY'r. Highly recommend.
