Just picked up the Sonos Ace Wireless Headphones in Soft White for my son and WOW, total parent win! These over-the-ear headphones look absolutely stunning - the soft white color gives them this premium, clean look that stands out from all the basic black headphones everyone else has. The active noise cancellation is IMPRESSIVE - my son says he can finally focus completely on his music without any distractions. Battery life has been amazing so far - he's been using them for days without needing to charge. The sound quality must be incredible because he keeps telling me how he's hearing parts of songs he never noticed before. The comfort factor is huge too - he wears them for hours without complaining about ear pain like with his old pair. Not gonna lie, I was hesitant about spending this much on headphones, but seeing how much he loves them makes it 100% worth it. The way his face lit up when he put them on for the first time? Priceless! Might have to "borrow" them when he's not looking... These Sonos Ace headphones are definitely a hit in our house!

I love these headphones! They are very comfortable for extended wear and the battery lasts a long time. A lot of headphones look overly huge on me, but these look normal. The case it comes with looks very nice and offers excellent protection. The noise cancelling performed well on the airplane.

    Wonderful Earphones

I have two Sonos speakers...the Beam and the Five. I wanted comfortable earphones to use mainly with the Beam while watching TV at night, and I figured a Sonus product would pair with them easily. The Sonos sounded great in the store (nice to be able to try then out in person), so although rather costly, I took the chance on the Ace. They are really wonderful...great sound, extremely comfortable on the ears. You can switch on the setting to block out background noise if necessary, and that part of it works fantastically. I turned it on to block the sound of a very loud air conditioner, and I couldn't hear the AC at all. Otherwise, without a lot of room noise you don't need that feature and you just keep it off. Connecting it to the TV/Beam system was fairly easy although not immediately obvious. You must use that Sonos app, and the only complaint I have is that Sonos should provide a good instruction sheet to make that connection part easier. I almost had to call Sonos for help, but I eventually figured it out. To Sonos: Please provide some sort of user manual! Otherwise, battery life seems great, and it comes with a nice protective case.

I’ve been using the Sonos Ace headphones for a week now, and they have completely changed how I experience music. The sound quality is incredible, with every note, from the highest highs to the deepest bass, coming through clearly. The sound is balanced, though not overly punchy, which I appreciate for a more natural listening experience. The lossless streaming and spatial audio make it feel like I’m right in the middle of the music. The noise cancellation is fantastic, blocking out all the background noise so I can focus entirely on what I’m listening to. But if I need to hear what’s happening around me, the Aware mode is super handy. They’re also really comfortable, with soft memory foam cushions and an adjustable band that fits perfectly. The battery life is fantastic, lasting up to 30 hours, and a quick 3-minute charge gives me another 3 hours of use. Calls are crystal clear too, thanks to the beamforming microphones. The controls are easy to use, and I love that the audio pauses automatically when I take the headphones off. Switching between devices is a breeze, and the Sonos app lets me tweak the settings to my liking. My favorite feature is the TV swap mode with the Sonos Arc – it’s perfect for late-night TV watching without disturbing anyone. Whether I’m listening to music, taking calls, or watching movies, these headphones provide an amazing experience. Highly recommend!

Sonos has created a game changer that provides true noise canceling headphones. I could be standing 4 feet away from someone who is talking away and I am not able to hear them AT ALL. Turn on passive mode and you can continue to listen to your music while talking to those around you. Headphones are very comfortable and not heavy at all. My wife and I will not use any other especially while flying.

The Sonos Ace headphones aren't just an accessory; they're an experience. From the moment you place them over your ears, you understand that Sonos has brought its signature audio expertise to the personal listening space with exceptional results. First and foremost, the sound quality is phenomenal. The audio profile is rich, balanced, and dynamic, delivering deep, resonant bass without muddying the crystal-clear mids and highs. Whether you're streaming high-fidelity audio or just jamming to a podcast, the clarity and separation make every detail pop. Comfort is another huge win. The Ace headphones feel light and luxurious, thanks to the breathable earcups and perfectly weighted headband. I can wear these for hours—through a cross-country flight or an entire workday—without any listening fatigue or uncomfortable pressure. Finally, the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is world-class. It’s superb at silencing the chaos of daily life, whether it's the rumble of a train or loud cafe chatter. When paired with their seamless integration into the Sonos home ecosystem (allowing you to swap TV audio instantly), the Ace headphones truly stand apart from the competition. These are an easy five-star recommendation for anyone serious about sound, comfort, and smart design.

Sonos Ace work perfectly with Arc Ultra. They consistently connect on demand. Tried to save some money and purchase open box perfect, but unit would not charge. Also tried Ama**** and that "perfect" unit came with a broken case. Finally purchased new from Best Buy and could not be happier. Sound quality is excellent and the fit is very comfortable for extended wearing.

The sound quality is exceptional. Set up is fairly easy. I set it up with an Arc sound bar. I did have problems with disconnection early but I think I figured out that the directional sound setting was causing issues. The best think is that I can watch as loud as I want without disturbing the rest of the house.

I love these over-the-ear headphones!!! I got these whenever I started graduate school, and they were such a lifesaver, especially when I needed to use the noise cancellation. The battery life is amazing, I barely have to charge them, and whenever I do, it does not take long to charge. The noise cancellation is amazing, and I use it all of the time. The sound is amazing, and unlike a few different over-the-ear headphones I tried, the top part does not hurt my head after using them for a couple of hours. Definitely worth the money!

Really great sound and comfort, when on sale this is a pretty good deal especially if you're in the Sonos Ecosystem already. Being able to watch my TV through these headphones seamlessly is great! Only improvements I would suggest: - ANC has problems with fans and wind (as many do), but it was noticeable to me when I had an airplane fan pointed at me. Also in loud environments (like an airplane), turning your head can make the ANC need to adjust briefly... Software improvements might be able to help these issues, but a faster chip like Aiprods have would be the next improvement - Switching between two devices is almost seamless, but not quite as good as the very well integrated Airpods on Apple devices. To be expected but always something that can be improved

I recently purchased the Sonos Ace headphones, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. The sound quality is exceptional, delivering crisp highs, rich mids, and deep, satisfying bass that enhances every genre of music I enjoy. Whether it's classical, rock, or electronic, these headphones handle it all with clarity and depth. Comfort is another standout feature. The ear cups are plush and provide a perfect fit that stays comfortable even during extended listening sessions. The design is sleek and modern, and the materials used feel durable yet lightweight. The Bluetooth connectivity works flawlessly, allowing me to move around freely without worrying about wires. The battery life is impressive, lasting for hours on a single charge, making them ideal for long trips or daily commutes. Overall, the Sonos Ace headphones have exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're looking for headphones that combine top-notch sound quality, comfort, and stylish design, look no further. Highly recommended!

Sonos missed the mark to differntiate

The Sonos Ace headphones present a mixed bag. For those already invested in the Sonos ecosystem, such as those who own a Sonos Arc, the Ace could be a worthwhile addition. However, if you already own high-end headphones like the Apple AirPods Max (APM), Sony WH-1000XM5, Bose QC Ultra, or Focal Bathys, the Ace might not offer enough to justify the investment. The headphone market is competitive, and alternatives like the Focal Bathys and Apple APM stand out at this price point. Sonos missed an opportunity to differentiate the Ace in a crowded marketplace, especially considering their strong brand and technological prowess. Notably, the Ace lacks features like Hi-Fi, Lossless sound over Wi-Fi, and the ability to play music from the Sonos app, which is significant oversights. In terms of sound quality, the Ace delivers loud and satisfying bass but lacks the depth and refinement of the Bathys. The mid-range and vocal clarity are decent but do not match the detailed and immersive experience provided by the Bathys. Instrumental separation is also not as tight, making the soundstage feel less defined. I find the sound stage and audio quality slightly below the Apple APM, but that may just be my personal preference. The Ace excels in comfort, being the most comfortable headphones I've worn since the Bose QC45s. The APM, while providing good sound quality, is heavy and can become fatiguing quickly. The Bathys are comfortable but have smaller ear cups. For Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), the Ace and APM perform equally well, while the Bathys fall short, especially for frequent travelers. In terms of Dolby Atmos, the APM outperforms the Ace, which does not effectively utilize this feature, and the Bathys do not support it at all. Overall, while the Sonos Ace offers solid performance, especially in comfort and sound quality, it does not surpass the excellence of the Focal Bathys and is almost on part with the APM. I personally don't see a compelling reason to choose over other high-end headphones.

I had an opportunity to test these on a 11 hour flight, which is what this review is based on. Overall, these are a high quality build with premium materials. I love the magnetic detachable ear pads as a feature for easy replacement. The headphones are attractive, and the minimal branding is a big plus. Also, the price is a big obstacle given how many less expensive excellent competitors there are. Noise cancelling: this is where the Sonos is getting a 1 star ding. Compared to the Bose QC Ultra, I feel like the Bose have them beat. On the long flight, I was feeling a bit fatigued by the amount of plane and passenger noise that was making it's way through. I wear glasses, so it's always a factor that a bit of noise seeps in, but in this case, even when I took my glasses off, the Bose seem to do a better job of silencing plane noise. Sound quality: great sounding headphones, as you would expect from a Sonos product. I have no complaints. Comfort: I liked the shape and fit initially, but I felt a sense of relief when I removed them as the big cups started to feel a bit heavy and large compared to the Bose. I have a pretty average sized head (I think) and these definitely wouldn't bother me if I was wearing them for less time - maybe commuting on a train. For the longer flight, I wished they were lighter. Minor note: the power button is on the bottom of the left side. I found that I was inadvertently turning off the headphones with my thumb when I went to make fit adjustments. A small but notable design flaw. Final thoughts: in the end, I decided to return these in favor of sticking with my Bose QC Ultra. For the premium price, the noise cancelling on the Bose is better and less expensive. When Sonos comes with an Ace V2, it is going to be a big winner. They are going to get better at this, and these are definitely a step in the right direction, just not for me right now.

The Sonos Arc headphones have truly redefined my listening experience, setting a new standard for audio quality and comfort. From the moment I unboxed them, I was struck by their sleek design and premium feel. The minimalist aesthetic is both elegant and modern, making them a perfect accessory for any setting. Sound Quality: 10/10 The standout feature of the Sonos Arc headphones is undoubtedly the incredible sound quality. The audio experience is immersive, with rich, deep bass that doesn’t overpower the mids and highs. Whether I’m listening to classical symphonies or modern pop tracks, every detail is crystal clear. The surround sound capability is a game changer, making movies and gaming feel more lifelike than ever. The spatial audio technology creates an enveloping soundstage that truly pulls you into the experience. Comfort: 9/10 Comfort is crucial for long listening sessions, and Sonos has nailed it. The ear cups are plush and breathable, while the adjustable headband ensures a perfect fit. I can wear them for hours without any discomfort, which is a significant plus for both music lovers and gamers alike. The lightweight design makes them easy to wear, and I appreciate the thoughtful engineering that keeps them snug but not too tight. Battery Life: 9/10 With impressive battery life, the Sonos Arc headphones can last through extended listening sessions without needing a recharge. The quick charging feature is also a nice touch, allowing me to get back to my favorite tunes in no time. Connectivity: 10/10 The connectivity options are seamless, whether I’m using Bluetooth or the Sonos app. Pairing is straightforward, and I’ve experienced no dropouts during use. The ability to integrate with my existing Sonos system is a fantastic bonus, allowing me to control my entire audio environment from one place. Features: 9/10 The touch controls are intuitive and responsive, making it easy to adjust volume or skip tracks without fumbling with buttons. The noise-cancellation feature is another highlight, effectively blocking out background noise, which is perfect for commuting or focusing in noisy environments. Value: 9/10 While the Sonos Arc headphones are on the premium side of the market, the quality and features justify the price. Given the performance and versatility, they are a worthy investment for anyone serious about their audio experience. Overall Impression: The Sonos Arc headphones are a testament to the brand’s commitment to quality and innovation. Whether you’re a casual listener or an audiophile, these headphones deliver an extraordinary sound experience that is hard to match. I can confidently say that these are the best headphones I’ve ever owned, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to elevate their audio game.

[Employee of bestbuy] The sonos aces are built very well and look amazing. They also have very good anc that is just slightly behind sony and bose. They are by far the most comfortable headphones I have ever used. The aces are almost perfect in every way but sadly the sound quality is just ok. The bass is muddy and the mids are uneven leading to vocals sometimes being too quiet, the treble can sometimes be harsh because somewhere their is a bump around 4k hertz that is bad. This could have been improved if sonos at least had a three band eq at launch but instead we got only bass and treble sliders that dont fix the problem areas. Sonos need to release an update fixing the eq or give us a five band eq like the Sony's. It is baffling that a sound company misses this bad when it comes to sound but somehow perfected everything else.

Great headphones. Very seamelss to connect with my phone and computer. Also the Tv swap option is very nice. Generally pretty comfortable but can get hot after a while. I've been a Sonos fan for years now with few hiccups to complain about. These headphones are no exception. They are comfortable, well made and a solid performer . The noise cancelling is top notch and filters out fan noise in my room nicely. The movie experience is immersive with a realistic quality. Music is equally enjoyable and top notch. Are wired headphones better? I'm not willing to spend the thousands it would cost to find out. I was in the hifi industry for 25 years in my youth and can tell you it us easy to fall in search for perfection. Put these on and just enjoy your source material and spend your money on a nice steak or a trip to the beach.

Excellent choice for listening to music or podcasts, if you have a Sonos Soundbar it’s trivial to toggle between the headset and bar. Works great with iPhone 16, call quality is great on both ends. The Sonos App makes it easy to configure and determine battery level (which is long) Ability to control volume is nice, and the noise canceling is as good or better than everything I’ve owned or heard.
