Customers are positive about the Ace Wireless Over-the-Ear Headphones with Active Noise Cancellation's sound quality, comfort, and battery life. Many also appreciate the lightweight design and connectivity options. However, some customers feel the bass is lacking and the headphones are not worth the high price. There are also a few comments on the volume not being loud enough, the app needing improvement, and the headphones getting a little warm.

Phenomenal piece of tech. Sound is amazing. Setup was a breeze. Extremely comfortable. Fits perfect. They rival my Apple Max headset. I find them more comfortable to wear. The case masterfully stores them securely. They totally beat Beats, Sony and Bose headsets I have used. If your looking for a premium headset, the Sonos Ace is it.

These headphones are my first experience with any Sonos products, but I've always been familiar with the quality of their soundbars. I read and watched a lot of reviews and decided to try these out. I'm definitely glad I made that decision. I've tried a lot of the different high end headphones—Sony's XM4 and XM5 as well as the Airpod Max and these definitely hold up against those. All of those are great headphones but (and I still love my Sony XM5s) the noise cancelling on these is amazing. I really feel like these do the best of blocking out ambient noise and also deliver really nice sound, especially the bass. Another thing I've really liked are the buttons, they're easy to tap to turn on the headphones or adjust the volume. My issue with the Airpod Max was that, asides from the volume dial, was that there were too few controls and I hated that I couldn't manually turn them off. No such problem with the Ace's. Also, the foam is really comfortable and I've been able to wear them for extended periods of time with little discomfort.

After a year to make it work it is supposed to work had finally arrived. Works amazing with Sonos system et all. I can finaly watch and listen within my ecosystem without bothering anyone late at night. Calls and other functionality great. Top quality sound wired like it's meant to be Hifi plus. Wireless connectivity sound on the top 2. Comfort.. best out there. Buy it

Excellent choice for listening to music or podcasts, if you have a Sonos Soundbar it’s trivial to toggle between the headset and bar. Works great with iPhone 16, call quality is great on both ends. The Sonos App makes it easy to configure and determine battery level (which is long)
Ability to control volume is nice, and the noise canceling is as good or better than everything I’ve owned or heard.

Let me start by saying I bought these when they were $100 off over the holidays. I would not pay full price. ANC is excellent right uo there with Apple. Sound quality is great for boty movies and music. If you have any Sonos sound bars the transfer to headphone feature is nice. I do wish that sound would continue on sound bar but it stops. (That way other people in the room can still watch the movie or show but you can listen at your own level) The one thing that holds these back are the fact that they do not get very loud. Ive tried both movies and music and I’m left wishing for a little more volume. Other than the volume issue these are a really great product.

The headphones have a premium look and feel to them. The sound quality was decent, better than Bose but not on the level of Sony. Noise canceling was really good as was ambient. The ear cups were comfortable and I didn’t deal with clamp pressure. Unfortunately I ended up returning the headphones due to the top of head pressure and soreness.
Incredible sound, seamless switching, and so comfy

Incredible sound, seamless TV to headphone switching, user friendly, and good battery. The noise cancelling is great, the buttons are very easy to work with, and they are extremely comfortable for all-day wear. The only thing the AirPod Max has over this is the noise enhance mode.

Great sound quality, very comfortable, and great battery life. I'd say these are slightly better than my Air Pods Max. My only problem with them is they seem to have a weird issue with certain frequencies when I have them plugged in via the 3.5mm cable that they come with.
Thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear that you find the sound quality, comfort, and battery life of the Sonos Ace headphones impressive. We appreciate you bringing the issue with certain frequencies via the 3.5mm cable to our attention. We'll look into this to ensure the best possible experience for our users. Enjoy your headphones!

If you are in the market for high-end headphones and you own a Sonos Arc soundbar to swap audio between that and your other devices, these are exactly the addition you'd want. The audio with Atmos sounds fantastic, and you can use them as audio-only headphones while video gaming (via that Arc connection) with no detectable latency.
If you DON'T own an Arc (or other Sonos soundbars that are supposed to get support in the future) and already have a higher-end set of headphones at around this price, I don't think these warrant a purchase to switch over to these. If you don't have another headset already and you're looking to get one, your use-cases will be the priority.
The cushioning on these feel very comfortable, but my ears are bigger and these sometimes cause a bit of pressure on the top of my right ear in particular. When that's not an issue, though, I love wearing them.

I would definitely recommend these headsets when compared to the AirPods Max. These are much lighter and the spatial surround is mind blowing. I heard almost 10 songs on both devices side by side. Both sounded the same on listening to the first 9 songs. The 10th song was a deal breaker. It was the song Aicha by Khaled and listening to the song at the 29th second, I made up my mind on Sonos which made the difference. While AirPods Max was flat this point, I could feel the sound go around my ear on Sonos and the total experience was awesome.

Best headphones I've ever worn! Cannot express how comfortable, I've gotten several friends and family members hooked on these. I wear them for hours a day as a medical student and get no headache from the noise cancelling feature. Other noise cancelling headphones have bothered me in the paste, for whatever reason these do not cause any of the negative pressure-like feeling that some noise cancelling headphones do. Cannot recommend enough, 10/10!

These headphones are not cheap but not the most expensive. I own quite a few Sonos products and love the sound and quality of the items. These are no different. They’re very ergonomic and fit well. No ear fatigue noted especially when wearing them for a long period of time. The noise cancelling feature is excellent but the sound they produce is awesome. My son has a pair of Bowers and Wilkins PX8s costing a few hundred dollars more and I think the sound quality of these are on par with them. Of course the best way to decide is to listen to them side by side. I don’t think you will be disappointed with these one bit.
