The Soundbar That Made My Walls Shake

Let me start by saying that the Sonos Arc Soundbar is an absolute game-changer. I bought this thinking, "Sure, it’ll sound better than my TV’s built-in speakers," but wow—this thing turned my living room into a full-blown cinematic experience! I had to check if my walls had installed subwoofers while I wasn’t looking. The sound quality? Chef’s kiss. Dolby Atmos? It’s like being inside the movie but without the risk of getting hit by flying debris. It’s so immersive that I started looking for an umbrella when I first heard rain in a movie. What blows me away is that I didn’t need additional speakers for the full surround sound experience. The Arc is all you need. Trust me, I usually end up in a tangle of cords trying to set up surround sound, but this bar gives me the same effect, minus the cable mess and my usual frustration with tech setups. The integration with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa is excellent too. Now, I don’t have to lift a finger to change the volume or switch tracks—yell at Alexa or Google like the queen of my living room. Even better, they listen, unlike my 14-year-old (but that’s a whole other review). In conclusion, the Sonos Arc is worth every penny. You can't go wrong with it for movie night, music, or just chatting with your friends about how amazing your sound system is. This soundbar gets all the stars. If it had more, I’d give it those, too.

Incredible in our large master bedroom!

Got the Sonos Arc for our new 65” LG C2 in our master bedroom. It’s a large room, and once the sound profile was mapped using the Sonos app — the sound reproduction is incredible. The spatial audio/Dolby Atmos is awesome. During movies we really do feel like there are rear and side speakers producing the sound. I am truly impressed, as I did not think it would work this well with just the sound bar. Because of the room size and type, we didn’t want a multi-speaker setup — was hesitant on this purchase due to the higher cost of Sonos equipment, but very glad we got this. Also - thought this single sound bar would suffice for our master bedroom without the subwoofer — and it does! I love me some bass, and this is sufficient for late evening movies/shows in the room without overpowering the situation. If you’re on the fence and have the cash — I recommend to buy now. And I was never a huge believer in sonos vs value — I’m a changed man.

The sound quality of this soundbar is absolutely amazing. Recommend for TVs 55 inches and up. The set up is super easy and straightforward. The packaging alone that it comes in let's you know you're getting a premium quality item. I just love how this sounds. The bass is very punchy even without the subwoofer that's sold separately.

The Sonos Arc is by far the best sound bar and can rival even the best full surround sound system. It packs a punch with deep bass for not having a subwoofer. Has excellent features like dialogue enhancement and night mode to turn down sudden sounds that very loud. However, the downfall of this product is the setup/mandatory Sonos app. I spent a couple of hours trying to get this setup out of the box via app because the app fails to recognize your device. I did troubleshooting to resetting modem, router, the speak the whole nine yards. What I found out is that you literally need to unplug the modem and router from the wall socket. It is the stupidest thing ever but it works. The speaker has amazing sound quality that you just wouldn't believe until you purchase. I would not recommend the Arc for lower end 4kTV's this sound bar needs a Sony x85+ or LG CX/C1 to truly get the most out of it. Samsung QLED tvs may, I've just read that the HDMI arc port didn't function as well. Additionally, you can purchase Sonos "bookshelf" speakers and a subwoofer that will sync to your sound bar for full Dolby Atmos system. I purchased 2 Sonos SL speakers and have them synced and you can literally hear people whispering, bullets flying, explosions, etc from them. Just amazing. But Sonos, FIX YOUR APP!!!

Sorry for your rough experience setting it up! It should only take about 5 minutes! Sometimes different router/modem settings (especially once rented from service providers) can cause some kinks that are out of our control. We're glad you got it set up. This is an amazing product something that I have never experienced before other than the demo at Best Buy. The installation was quick and we were enjoying it that night. It makes our movie viewing far beyond than our previous set up. There is no comparison. Completely overwhelmed sums it up!

I went from a mid range 3.1 Samsung soundbar and was considering upgrading. Sonos wasn’t even on my radar, and was looking at the other brands and the isle was full of people. Didn’t want to bother anyone, So standing around and saw this as an open box and had a few songs to choose from. I was blown away by how full it sounded even without a sub connected. I went home and attached to my existing speaker attachment I had mounted to my wall mounted tv and reset the speaker with a quick google search. Added the app to my phone, and calibrated the arc to the room. It was nearly perfect. Eventually I added a couple Sonos era 100s for the surround to complete the setup. I have no desire for a sub. It sounds perfect the way it is. If this breaks, it will likely be replaced by another Sonos arc variation when the time comes.

The Arc 5.0.2 Channel Smart Soundbar with Dolby Atmos delivers powerful, high-quality sound with impressive clarity and depth. Audio feels rich and immersive, with clear dialogue, balanced mids, and crisp highs that don’t feel harsh. Dolby Atmos creates a wide, room-filling soundstage, adding a true cinematic feel to movies and shows. Bass performance is surprisingly strong for a standalone soundbar, providing good punch without distortion. It performs smoothly even at higher volumes and works well for both movies and music. Overall, the sound quality and performance feel premium and significantly enhance the home entertainment experience.

The Sonos Arc Soundbar has truly elevated my home audio experience. Its combination of striking design, powerful audio performance, and seamless smart integration make it a standout choice in the soundbar market. While the price point may be an investment, the return in terms of immersive audio and user-friendly features is undoubtedly worth it. The Sonos Arc stands as a pinnacle of audio innovation, transforming my living room into a cinematic audio haven.

Love this sound bar. Not only does it sound great - very big sound but it is so easy to set up and looks great also. I love Sonos products, app and ability to easily add other products to your set up. I have added the sub and Fives as rears and have been very happy with the overall set up. Really big quality sound from such a sleek and easy system. :)

Powerful, innovative and simple to use. Just mount it beneath the TV, plug it into the HDMI of your Smart TV and Sonos' Arc does the rest, seamlessly integrating with your remote. Arc is fine on its own, but it truly shines as the main component of a home theater. All you need is a pair of Sonos Ones as rear speakers to create an incredibly immersive and powerful sound system in the comfort of your living room. Sure, you can boost the base with a Sonos Sub are really bring a movie theater home. But, honestly, the arc and rear ones sound so great on their own, especially in apartment set ups. Arc also works great for streaming music services, with Google Assistant and Alexa voice controls built in. But I especially like its compatibility Apple's Airplay. You can configure streaming to play full or in surround mode. And Sonos' Trueplay feature adapts the system to the acoustics of your room. The new Sonos S2 app remains a work in progress, but at its core it can be simple to use and allows you to control all the sound from your phone if the remote is across the room. While it is most certainly pricey (financing might be the best way to go for most people), Sonos has proven it is on top of the game here and, for me, it was well worth the investment.

I purchased this soundbar and the subwoofer as a replacement for the Samsung unit I had. I was having issues hearing the dialog in movies and tv shows so I would turn it up and then all the action sounds were way too loud. This soundbar solved that issue for me. The voice tracks are crystal clear and the rumbling bass is a necessary add-on/upgrade. I also paired this unit with a Samsung OLED 65" TV and I am in heaven. I highly recommend this soundbar - with or without the sub it is great. I have not even tapped into this units capabilities yet. It is a little pricey but worth the purchase.

For one sound system it seem I have more surrounded system. Love it. Worth the price. My opinion you don't need the soundwoofer unless you want more bass and higher sound which at time you cant enjoy cause you cant pump it up and keep it low not to distract the neighbors.. The sono arc surround bar is built with 8 speaker and 2 tweeters surrounding woofer to built your satisfaction. Very heavy and its sound for your buck.

This is hands down the greatest electronics purchase I’ve ever made. I’m a massive movie fan and musician/music lover. I’ve been totally blown away by how seamlessly this product integrated with my TV. I literally plugged it in and did a very basic setup. Now I just use the TV remote to turn on the TV and adjust the volume and it already knew to control the sound bar. The sound is full and incredible. I’m for sure planning to add a sub at some point, and may get the rear speakers too. Maybe from a cost standpoint this product isn’t the greatest value. But honestly I could not be happier with the experience of owning it. It sounds so fantastic and never has any hiccups. There’s no delays no quirks nothing. It enhances everything we watch or listen to. Do not hesitate to buy this. Oh and also it looks fantastic, but to me that’s just a bonus and not a reason to buy.

The soundbar is great. I think I overhyped myself for Dolby Atmos. I've streamed a lot of movies that has Atmos and I just don't seem to get the effect that I wanted with sounds swirling around me. But overall, the bass is really good and voices are crystal clear. I added two Sonos One SL's for rear and it adds to the overall experience.

I decided to downgrade to sienhisser ambeo mini after comparing the audio quality. But if you're using the arc along with a Sonia woofer then it's definitely worth it. But just wanna stay in budget, need quality audio, small living space, only want soundbar, go for ambeo mini

Love our new Sonos system, Went looking, wasn’t sure what we wanted, sales people were very helpful. Originally wanted the black, not in stock til November. Salesperson convinced us to get the white for now, see how we like it, can always swap for black come the time. Needless to say the white looks great in our open concept living area. Easy set up and enjoying!
