Sonos Home Theater System
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Sonos Arc surround system with sub-woofer and 2 rear speakers to replace my old, cheap system I purchased at Target a couple of years ago. I was concerned as the old system sounded pretty good in my opinion, especially for the money. The Sonos system was pricy but the reviews were good and I didn't want wires run allover the house. I couldn't be happier, when I'm not watching TV, my wife and I enjoy music. The Sonos system provide amazing quality and ample volume for enjoyable music anywhere in the house. The Sub-Woofer is great, it fills the entire house with bass you can feel. This is a great product and at some point we plan to add a sub-woofer and speakers to the Man Cave.

Arc worth every penny--Especially since it's SONOS
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have Sonos systems throughout my house-two sonos one speakers in each bedroom, and playbars with sonos satellites and subwoofers in the family room and my music studio. The Arc replaced a a 1st gen. Beam in 16' x 16' Music Studio. At first I thought the space might be too small for the ARC. It wasn't. The difference between the beam and the Arc is astounding. It makes rewatching movies worthwhile. For the first time EVER with Sonos I had a problem getting my satellite Sonos One speakers to connect to the Arc. It's usually a snap. I tried everything and then called Sonos. Would you believe I got connected to a technician within 2 minutes and she patiently worked with me for nearly an hour to get everything working? Who does that? Well, Sonos. Trust me, Sonos is phenomenal for connectivity throughout your home. Play the same music in every room, or play something different in each room. Oh, back to the Arc--yea, it's twice the cost of the Beam 2, but the wow factor is worth the up charge. Check to ensure you have vertical clearance above the bar so you don't interfere with the two up-facing speakers. They actually work. There's a helicopter scene in the first Matrix movie and you can definitely tell that the surround sound has height. You can hear stuff happening overhead--Not exactly like having the actual speakers up there, but enough to notice that you'll never want to go to a soundbar without this feature. Also, I don't know why--maybe it's all the background music they play in today's movies, and actors don't enunciate like stage actors do, but dialogue can get lost. There s a feature on the telephone app that enables you enhance speech. Works like a charm, especially when actors have heavy accents. Anyway, I highly recommend Sonos and the Arc!

Sonos arc dual sub era 300’s with stands setup
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love my sonos full setup with dual subs and era 300’s with their stands top notch. A lot of mixed reviews but the fact that after trueplay and peter pee’s review for best settings and using an RTA app to adjust the eq based on the room it will be different as well as with sub placement. With the RTA you can achieve a balanced sound and oh man does it sound great, very dynamic and no issues with movies clarity very happy with this purchase overall. Would love to get the ultra eventually

Sonia Arc review
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve used that product now for over two months so far I don’t have any major complaints but they are some. -Setup is pretty ease, you just plug and play as long your tv is able to support arc and optical connection. - There is Sonos app that you can Download for control and other features. That gets tricky when you have to deal with setting it up and connecting with Sonos, the good thing is if you have any issues you can get help from Sonos support to walk you through the steps how to configure it. I’m not giving all 6 stars since speaker has some issues that I’m not happy about when you have multiple devices connected to TV using HDMI for some reason sound doesn’t work on the speaker while having both connections attached. I’m assuming this might be related maybe to my TV but I think this is the speaker issue if I disconnect HDMI and reconnect it works or if I power on the second device I get the sound. I will try reach out Sonia support to see what they say. Over all the sound is really good I wish the speak would be louder… : )

Great soundbar to replace a surround system
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.High-quality sound, surprising kick, and impressive surround sound. Only using it for home theater, not much music, but for my small-ish space, the bar does the job of a complete 5.1 system. Plus, set-up and control is really easy.

Sounds good - has some issues - pricy.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is good - it is not great. The reason I went with this product after months of research was because I felt it would be easy to anyone to use. Setup isn't so bad, but there are some issues; 1) It only connects via wi-fi on 2.4 channel and this is a slight issue with some routers. 2) I have had it about a month, and already had to do a hard reset because the sound for 1 or 2 seconds, goes out and then come right back on. It is very random - it isn't my wifi - it is the unit- Look it up. Updates can cause problems. 3) It is too expensive. The unit sounds great, but for the price - unless you are some very detailed audiophile, it is too pricey. We just have the ARC but I will not likely buy other units. Honestly you can get another brand and walk away with more speakers than just the one sonos.

Must have for any tv.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best upgrade to any tv you own. I previously owned the playbar and this is far better. Base is great alone without the sub and great with surround sound. Set up is easy and having google and alexa on this speaker is very helpful.

Amazing sound system
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband and I have been waiting to purchase the Sonos Arc due to high price point. Unfortunately, it did not go on sale at all during the holiday season. We purchased it at market price in January and it has made a huge different in our Sonos sound system. Truly unmatched sound quality. Set up was easy. We are happy with our purchase.

Insane sound bubble with Sonos Era 300s and subs.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Stand alone I definitely get side and ceiling effects in an 23’ W x 18’ H x 9’ H room. With the Era 300s as surrounds and two gen 3 subs it’s as good as your going to get in the soundbar space other than Nakamichi Dragon which has more bass, better overall sound quality and a lot more power. The sound bubble Sonos system creates is second to none however in regards to clarity of sound placement in areas where there are no speakers. This system is truly worth the price tag.

Incredible
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have a media room with high dollar audio that we use to watch movies, but spend most of our time watching a different TV. This one had a Sony sound bar with a small sub attached. I thought since we watched so much tv here we should upgrade and settled on the Arc paired with a Sonus Sub. Wow. The sound is incredible. I know it is expensive especially if you buy the Sub, but I could easily see this being a primary set up. If you are looking to upgrade, this system will knock your socks off.... Way too loud for my wife :=). Set up is easy even if you are not a part of the Sonus ecosystem, and the side is you can also play music which sounds as good as any stereo using the Sonus application. Yes it is expensive, but trust me it is eons above the "decent" doing system I had previous.

Absolutely stunning sound
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I paired the Arc with a pair of Sonos One SL speakers. I have never listened to such a well balanced home theater system. Setup was nearly plug and play. Dialogue is very clear on this system and makes viewing all sources much more pleasant. The first viewing of a Dolbly Atmos coded movie is beyond all expectations. The bass frequency is unbelievable. I could swear there is a sub woofer attached, but there is no annoying boom and thud most systems have, just solid crisp explosions action. I am real tempted to buy a Sonos Sub and really get connected. I didn't realize there are so many music, sports, talk sources you can connect to the Sonos environment. There are literally dozens including your own server collections. You owe it to yourself to check out the Sonos environment. It is definitely 1st class.

First Soundbar and Sonos - Impressive
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased the full Home Theater; Arc, Subwoofer and a pair of One SL for surround. Not cheap! It replaced a Denon S940H and Old Bose speakers. Which sounded great, but lots of annoying wires and a little dated. This is my first sound bar and Sonos purchase. As an audiophile and music producer, it really needed to impress me. It sure came through. The bar alone sounded good, but when you connect to woofer and surrounds, wow, impressive, it fills the room, I have it connected to the Sony A8H Oled with has eARC. My Apple TV and Blu-ray are connected through TV. Everything works perfect and a breeze to set up via WiFi. Only Con is it doesn’t play DTS, which means I can’t take advantage Of IMAX enhanced content. Most everything is Atmos, so not a big deal at this time.

Best speaker I've owned
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had several soundbars and this is by far the best I've had. The ease of use has been a nice. You'll still miss the rear speakers if you're looking for true Dolby Atmos but all I can say is WOW! Works with my new LG TV nicely.

There’s a reason Sonus is expensive.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had originally purchased the Sony A5000 + sub and I was disappointed. No adjustments, poor bass response (too many higher frequencies), and I really thought it sounded very marginal for the price. I returned them the next day and bought the Sonus ARC + sub; what a difference. You get what you pay for. The app is simple to use and offers so many options. The sound bar is terrific and the bass is simply velvety; the way it should be. You will shell out for the bar and the sub, and you will cringe, but after you’ve gone through all the setup (it is very well organized) you’ll know why you bit the bullet, It’s worth every penny.

Sonos Arc = BEST Soundbar
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sonos Arc is absolutely amazing! I am Blown away. Would great separates be better? Probably but good separates, receiver and cabling are a lot more expensiv and hard to hide wires. I love the wireless simplicity and the clean installation. The Sonos Arc, Sub and One SL surrounds replaced a Samsung Q80R soundbar/sub set up. There is NO comparison. The Sonos Gen3 Sub is LEGIT! It is not just boomy either. It goes very deep but is superbly musical as well. The center channel clarity of the ARC is exceptional. The Dolby Atmos speakers in the ARC add a nice sense of height in my media room even though my room has high Vaulted 12' ceilings. The system was installed with the Sonos Gen 3 Sub, so I have not played the ARC alone. I "highly recommend" the SONOS Gen 3 Sub. This system makes the former Samsung Q80R 5.1.2 system sound mediocre to below-average at best. I was concerned the One SL surrounds might be lacking but boy was I ever wrong. The have great pace and sound superb. I got the SANUS wall mounts and that allows me to turn, pivot and angle them toward the sweet spot of my listening/viewing space. I connected the Sonos Arc with a good Audioquest eARC HDMI cable directly to the eARC on my LG CX77 OLED. Amazing system. Music through the ARC, Sub and Surrounds makes my large great room *Family room/dining/kitchen sound like a concert hall. I am so impressed with the SONOS solution I will be buying into a Sonos MOVE for my back patio and maybe add a couple more ONE SL's for another room in the house for background music. FYI - I used to have an SVS 2000W sub, ProAc British audiphile towers and all kinds of high end equipment. I probably had $15K or more into that system. I Like this more. It has system synergy that just works! It may not be the absolute last word for audiophiles, but it is a kick-a** home theater, media solution. Love the iPhone app too. If you are thinking about a Sonos Arc/Gen3 sub and One SL Surrounds, DO IT. None of these other TV brand soundbar/sub/surround systems can come close to this.

New Sonos Arc
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a new sound bar to replace an older audio system and the Sonos Arc was very well reviewed from the research that I did. The sound quality is very good and it’s super easy to set up, but at $800 it’s quite the investment. I’m happy with the quality and the fact that I can continue to add to it by getting the subwoofer and speakers, but the price tag is the only drawback.

Great hardware, mediocre software.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This review would have been 5 stars a couple months ago because the sounds quality is amazing and it's really really easy to set up. The hardware is great, and I've had no issues. The lack of a star is because Sonos sent out their now infamous update to their app and systems that makes the whole thing much less reliable than it had been. Recently, it seems to have gotten better, but be wary that the app is not very good. Great sound bar otherwise, and if you have the money to spend, a Sonos system can't be beat for simplicity vs quality.

Get the Arc. Then, get another.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sleek, elegant, nearly-invisible hardware, delivers rich, room-filling sound, & can be controlled easily from any phone or device on the same WiFi network. Gonna get a second one for another space. Sonos hardware delivers fantastic sound, at reasonable prices, and unlike some brands (looking at you, Ultimate Ears), it does not have a glitchy, impossible app which renders the hardware useless. The Sonos app is clear, intuitive, and easy to use across multiple environments/setups.
