Sonos arc defective

Posted .If you’re having trouble setting up your Sonos Arc, here are some steps to troubleshoot and hopefully resolve the issue:
Check Power and Connections:
Power Supply: Ensure the Sonos Arc is plugged into a working power outlet and the power cable is securely connected.
HDMI Connection: Verify that the HDMI cable is properly connected to the HDMI ARC port on your TV and the Sonos Arc.
Verify TV Settings:
HDMI ARC: Make sure your TV’s HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) is enabled. This setting might be in the TV’s audio or HDMI settings menu.
Audio Output: Set the TV’s audio output to “External Speaker” or “ARC” to direct sound through the Sonos Arc.
Update Sonos App:
Latest Version: Ensure you have the latest version of the Sonos app installed on your phone or tablet. Updates can fix bugs and improve functionality.
Reset Sonos Arc:
Factory Reset: If setup is still not working, try performing a factory reset on the Sonos Arc. To do this, press and hold the join button on the back of the Arc until the LED flashes orange and white, then release. This will reset the Arc to its factory settings.
Check Network Connection:
Wi-Fi: Ensure your Sonos Arc is connected to your home Wi-Fi network. The Sonos app should guide you through the setup process to connect the Arc to Wi-Fi.
Follow Sonos App Instructions:
Setup Wizard: Open the Sonos app and follow the setup instructions carefully. The app should guide you through each step to connect the Arc to your network and configure it with your TV.
Reboot Devices:
Restart: Restart your Sonos Arc, TV, and router. Sometimes, a fresh start can resolve connectivity issues.
Check for Interference:
Wireless Interference: Ensure there are no significant sources of interference that might be affecting the Wi-Fi signal or HDMI connection.
If you’ve tried these steps and still can’t get the Sonos Arc to work, contacting Sonos customer support at support.sonos.com may be necessary. They can provide specific guidance based on your situation and help you troubleshoot further.

Complicated Set-Up

Won't support dolby atmos on Vizio OLEDs

Pretty impressive for a soundbar
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So far so good, i received this soundbar for Christmas and i have to say its pretty good for a soundbar. I set it up in the bedroom with a 55 inch TCl 4K tv and the sound is great for the room. We have a 7.1 system in the Living room and this sounds just as good for the space we have it in. My tv says it only has a arc output on the back however when i plugged in the sound bar and set it up it says earc as the output and is saying its giving me Dolby Atmos signal in the app, when playing things with atmos encoding. Set up was a breeze and i did the trueplay and it now sounds even better. It also has some bass to it which is nice, but since its bedroom use i will not be adding the sub to it but also don't feel i need it. I do wish it had its own remote but the app has been working well for me. I have also used it to stream Spotify and it worked flawlessly. I dont use voice assistant’s so have t played with that feature yet. We will see how it goes as time goes on with it but im pretty impressed it looks great and sounds great for what i am using it for and the room it is in. Also my PS5 sounds great when playing games thru it.

Unfortunately inventory restraints are pretty much everywhere and there's not much we can do about it on our end. Not to mention Best Buy doesn't really look at these reviews, just us vendors. Posted .Hi, and thank you for the review. We would recommend ensuring that A) the audio is being pushed to the soundbar and not through the TV speakers still, and B) that the proper audio codecs are being pushed out of the soundbar itself. This can all be done through the sound or audio settings on the TV. You should hear a vast difference between the TV and Arc. Usually we find one of these two things are the case.
