I am not blown away by the surround sound (especially the Atmos), but overall am very pleased with it. I still have the option to add a sub and rear surrounds if I choose, and I read that with those the surround experience is much better. The best thing about this soundbar for me is it simply works, all the time. I have it connected over wi-fi and have zero connection issues. It’s been very reliable.

I found a better price from a competitor, I went to the store and showed them, and they granted and honored the competitor's rule and I did want the purchase with Best Buy, and it worked out perfect. Purchased the Sonos Arc Soundbar and two SL One surrounds, however the subwoofer has been unavailable nationally and therefore we are unable to get the sound expected. All stores show it available on July 18, 2021, yet the last returnable date for the soundbar purchased is July 16, 2021 meaning we cannot test the entire system until after the expiration date for return on the Arch Soundbar. I would never recommend Sonos based on our experience. Also the Facebook page for Sonos shows so many people have connection problems, sound adjustment issues, and it seems more complicated than what most homeowners want to deal with. Sonos I hope you get your act together.

Sonos seems to think that their App addresses all issues, but it does not. I'm still having trouble getting the Sub to perform as expected. Sonos should offer some comprehensive test utilities.

Bass disappointing unless volume turned way up. Maybe it sounds great if you spend the extra money for all the Sonos surround speakers to pair with it. There are competitors that have full surround for less than the cost of the single Sonos bar.

If you get the opportunity, and have an iOS device handy (iPhone, iPad, iPodTouch), you can run our Trueplay tuning software that's built right into the app. This allows the Arc to adapt to the environment to make sure the sound is perfect for your space. You can find the tuning option in the app by going to Settings, System, "Room Name", then Trueplay. Follow the instructions and you will be on your way.

The sound needs to be increased to 40+ to get true atmos effect. Even then, the general sound is pretty low, but the music/action sounds are too loud.
