Apparently, being unable to play your Bluetooth headphones on the TV is a known bug, which Sonos has ignored. If you connect your Bluetooth to the TV, Sonos overrides it. Sonos won't allow you to power down your sound bar so you have to physically disconnect the HDMI connector. On top of that, the sound quality is just OK and their customer support is terrible. Save your money and get something else.

If I could give this zero stars I would. Difficult to setup and last week I lost power and it won’t reconnect. Sonos and Samsung have not been able to help.

The design of Arc is intended to route your connections to the TV, and then use the HDMI CEC connection to route the sound to the sound bar. This eliminates the need to make changes to your TV input and sound bar input. john.milton

I purchased my Sonos arc and sub in February of 2024 and a mere sixty days later our Sonos arc no longer works with my TV. Yes changed the cables and executed all the typical troubleshooting methods to no avail it is still dead in the water, should have never purchased this product.

    Excellent Sound bar!

Recently bought the Sonos Arc along with the Gen 3 Sub and two Sonos One SLs to complete the home entertainment setup I was going for and man does it sound great!! I purchased the products through the Sonos website for those of you wondering why it’s not a “verified purchase”. Let me start off by saying what a HUGEEE upgrade it was going from a JBL 5.1 sound bar to this Sonos Arc. Night and day difference to be honest with ya. I was considering the JBL Bar 9.1 which is also Atmos capable but I decided to give Sonos a try and boy was it the best decision I ever made, I’m never going back to JBL! The sound is crystal clear! The bass is excellent but I recommend pairing it with the Sonos Sub for that extra bass. The S2 app is amazing and stupidly easy to use. I do want to clear something up though. I’ve noticed some reviews on here claiming you need eARC to play Atmos or else it won’t work. If your TV supports Dolby Atmos pass through, it WILL play on this sound bar but in a different codec. For example, my LG OLED C8 supports Atmos pass through but it doesn’t have eARC, meaning the sound bar will receive it using the Dolby Digital Plus codec instead of the Dolby TrueHD, which is what Atmos would be passed with if eARC was being used. The only difference between the two is that of course Atmos through Dolby TrueHD will sound just a tad bit better because it’s lossless audio vs Dolby Digital Plus which is compressed. Don’t let this deter you from getting this sound bar though, as both audio codecs sound phenomenal, especially on this sound bar! Is it pricey? Heck yes! Worth every penny? HECK YESS!

the new S2 app is horrible. I spent the better part of 3 days working with SONOS support attempting to upgrade to S2 because I was forced to use S2 for the new ARC soundbar. To make a long story short we never ever got the new soundbar to connect with any other speakers. Then took me another 3 days to remove S2 and recreate my system back on S1 I have 3 play 5s 1 gen 1 and 2 gen 2s a soundbar, 2 play 1s a sub and an amp
