I have a family room with a 20 foot high ceiling and my TV without a sound system was barely audible. I purchased the Sonos Arc and matching wireless sub-woofer. I thought they were a little expensive at $1,500 for the pair. Not being too tech savvy, it took me a while to figure out the Sonos app on my phone but once I got it set up I was amazed. I can hear my TV very clearly, watch Star Wars that sounds like I am at the movies and play all of my iphone music channels through Alexa. The Boston Pops sounds like I am in Tanglewood. While $1,500 sounds like a lot for two speakers, you soon realize that you no longer need any receivers or other pricey components to hear music like an audiophile. Well worth it.

If you absolutely, positively, need a soundbar, except no substitute. I was completely blown away by the sound. We received it and I did a quick hook up to my Sony A80J TV. The sound was impressive. However, the sub was missing. I bought the Sonos sub that day. It was the best decision ever. It felt the like I was in the theater. My wife already said she doesn't need to go to the movies anymore. I was going to add the rear speakers in the ceiling because of the room layout. I think it would be too much. I am still going to put them in using Sonos Amp but just for music. You will not be disappointed if you get this soundbar. I will admit it holds up well against my 5.1.2 setup in my loft (Klipsch and Pioneer AV receiver).

We’re in the process of completely redoing our family room and we bought the whole set of Arc, Gen 2 sub, and two Era 300s from BestBuy during the Black Friday sale. We replaced a what now seems like puny Bose system that was never quite right for our open floor plan. We really love the Sonos and it has made a world of difference to the sound quality. Coupled with a new Samsung Neo QLED also bought during the sale we are experiencing a whole new level of sight and sound.

Was extremely disappointed had to turn volume up to 40 to sound decent returned the arc bought sony HTA 5000 which is way louder

Great sound-bar. It’s immersive and simple to use. It could be a bit louder. Overall great sound.

Wonderful sound. Pricey. Difficult to configure with other Sonos speakers. I needed a neighbor with the same system to help me with the hook up. I consider myself more savvy than most with technical things....but I couldn't get YouTube to help. The company should include some kind of setup instructions.

Sounds great, movie theater like. Easy to set up. Looks sleak.

After doing extensive research, I decided to buy the Arc, Sub, and One SL as I wanted a wireless system. After two weeks of watching different movies, listening to music, watching shows, sports, and regular tv, I can inform you that I have a home theatre and club at home lol. The Sonos system is incredible in its sound for movies and music. I am extremely happy with my purchase. The only down fall is I don’t have enough time to watch all the movies I want to watch to experience them again lol trust me, you won’t be disappointed...for movies it truly sounds life-like...

I really like the sound that comes from the Arc, I've tested it with channel separation and wow does it do an amazing job with the sides and Atmos channel. Bass is good, but I do have paired with a subwoofer and rears, so that helps. However, I believe that the eArc only input only is a huge limitation to this product. In my setup, there is a well known issue with eArc on AppleTV 4K and LG CX TVs, where audio will skip after playing Atmos titles. There is no current fix except for a $200 HD Fury Arcana, which is not an option. You can resolve by playing a PCM file afterwards, but really, that becomes a pain. Great product, but limited by the eArc only input.

Absolutley insane sound bar....This ish is unbelievable.....Wow....Bass is insane. Im sorry but Best Buy should give all the other sound bars back to their manufacture and ONLY carry this sound bar in the store. I was hurting at the register until I hooked it up at home WOW....Worth the money. First, ever Sonos sound bar. No more Sony, Samsung, Visio etc.. for me again..... WOW.....

It is a good sound bar. The mounting was easy and the setup was easy through the arc portal. I am not sure it is worth the money but it is good.

My husband has a very sensitive ear and he also hates cords and fishing speaker wire through walls and ceilings. He’d looked at the So is Arc a year ago, but they are NEVER in stock and they are 5X the price of other sound bars. I went all in and bought it with the coordinating subwoofer for Christmas. No one knows what anyone else in my family got, but EVERYONE knows I bought him the Arc and how much he loves it and how much they all love coming over for the theater experience in my living room.

What a great product. Easy to setup and provides great sound. I highly recommend the Sonos Arc soundbar.

The soundbar is the best I have own and the most expensive too, but it's worth it. Sound is great better than most on this price range.

This new arc with old S1 sub is compatible - zero issues blending the old with new. My old S1 beam, Play 1, LS and RS, hold their own extremely well without a sub. Most importantly, both systems work seamlessly through the app as long as they’re set up independently under same account. 1k is all it took to upgrade family room to atmos while creating a masterpeice in bedroom with older generation.
