    Frustrating

Sound bar sounds good, but loses connection with app over and over again. Losing connection all the time makes playing music very frustrating, because of that I would not buy! Worthless!!!

Don't buy until they fix compatibility issues

When it works, it sounds great. Unfortunately the sound randomly cuts off several times a day/evening on certain streaming apps like YouTube TV, Netflix and Amazon Prime. We bought a new Sony TV X900H and this sound system and I would take back the old set up to get rid of this issue. After some online research, this is a known issue between Sony and Sonos that they are "working on". I would not recommend buying this Sonos sound system until they get the bugs worked out. I expected WAY more for $2000.

I was forced by Sonos to update my Sonos app! After the update, when we change channels, we hear a pop and then we loose Sonos connection! Sonos was unwillingly to help!! I will never buy anything from Sonos!!!!!!!!!!

Sound bar keeps dropping off my list in the app. I really have an issue with not being able to total turn the bar off.

Buyer beware, Sonos products are absolute garbage. Spend the extra money and buy something worth it. Sonos won’t even support their own product when all evidence points to something being defective. Sonos is complete garbage and not worth the hype.

I have 6 Sonos devices and I used to love the company but they just removed a major reason I went with them, support for playing my own mp3 music library. All I can say is read the app store reviews on Sonos before buying. This company cannot be trusted not to degrade your system at it's own whim.

I had high hopes for this new product as I was upgrading from the playbar unfortunately the power and the sound quality are on a another price point planet in fact the base sounds like crap so they force you to add a Sonos sub Sonos has become a marketing gimic that has fooled us into sound quality that is now on par with a typical Bluetooth speaker I’m not sure how this is possible but my Sonos one speakers are better sounding

Hi, and thank you for taking the time to review the Sonos Arc. We would be willing to bet that the tv is not sending out the proper audio codec to Arc. This can lead to muffled/distorted sound, and a loss of depth. Ensure that the tv is pushing out dolby digital or a high quality sound codec to the Arc. Also, make sure that gaming consoles and streaming devices are set to push out the propper audio codec. We'd love to help with this if we can. Feel free to head over to sonos.com/support and reach out whichever way you feel is best! We're very sorry for your experience so far and we look forward to helping you achieve and epic home theater experience with the Sonos Arc! john.milton

    Sonos < Bose

Tried this system out but returnes it for a Bose. The soundbar is bulky and a complete eye sore. It looks like a big log in front of my OLED. The subwoofer looks cool, but is inferior to the Bose sub by far. I would reccomend sticking with the tried and true.. Bose!

You are forced to use the Sonos app and it is completely trash. Google Sonos app reviews. You will be stuck with a $2-3K system that functions terrible.

Not as great as the other reviews say. Super low vocal while everything else jump out more. The app lacks control features like controlling audio settings. Replaced it with the Bose 900 and want to say the best move.

Thanks for the review! We appreciate you taking the time. Usually poor sound quality is due to the tv not sending out the correct audio codec to the soundbar. Usually this is done automatically via CEC however, sometimes it needs to be set manually in your tv audio settings. We do also allow for EQ controls by going into the room settings, and even the ability to tune to the environment of your specific room with an IOS device. (iOS required because of microphone consistency for this specific feature) john.milton

You’re paying for the brand name. Absolutely no soundbar is worth this amount of money. Do yourself a favor and go 3.1 channel. Even the cheapest set up will be better than this soundbar...

Hi, and thank you very much for your review! We would recommend that you check your TV to ensure that it is putting out the proper audio format to Arc. This may need to be done on the TV and through any devices you would want audio from IE AppleTv, gaming console, ext. We're happy to get you up and running if you reach out to use at sonos.com/support john.milton
