I love my new Sonos system. I had looked it up online for ratings and reviews which were all excellent. It blows my away.. Why do I buy at Best Buy - service and Greek Squad backup.

I am so glad I decided to purchase this. I was a little hesitant/skeptical about it especially due to the price, but after using it, I have no regrets whatsoever. The sound output and clarity even at the highest volume is amazing and anywhere you stand in the basement, the sound experience is consistent. I am not sure how I was able to enjoy movies, etc. all these years using just built-in TV speakers.

I really enjoy this soundbar. Even in an open room it does a great job of sounding open and expansive. In movies, I can hear sounds coming from the sides clearly even though there are no speakers there. Combined with the Sonos sub, they make for an excellent combination. It’s expensive, but at least it performs very well. Also, love the fact that it integrates seamlessly with my tv.

This is hands down the coolest sounding sound system for the compact and ease of use

I consider myself somewhat of an audiophile. Over the last 10 years, I have purchased components one by one, upgraded as needed and got to a point where I was very happy with my stereo system. I even had it hooked up to my TV and wasn’t really that interested in surround sound. That changed when I visited my friend who has a really good home theater setup. We were watching clips from a movie that I had watched at home and it just felt different. Basically, modern movies are mixed in such a way that if you are not watching it in surround sound, you are missing out on a lot. Anyway, fast forward a few months and I got a nice receiver and a center channel in order to upgrade my existing system to a home theater. Well, it worked well but for my smallish apartment, I just couldn’t fathom putting 2 more speakers to get a complete surround. Nevermind, 4 more for atmos. On top of that running the wires and trying to keep it concealed would be a pretty big hassle. So, I dropped the idea and enjoyed my 3.1 setup for a few months. It sounded really good but I knew I was still missing a little bit. I had heard sound bars before and I liked the idea of them for movies but I had never heard a sound bar before that sounded really good with music. And so I was uninterested. During the black friday sale, I saw Sonos premium bundle for a discount and bit the bullet. It was an impulse purchase with the idea that if I don’t like it, I can return it. I had also thought that if this works well, I will keep this for home theater and still keep my old speakers (Tekton Lore Reference) for music. Well, one day after work I began setup, downloaded the app, unboxed everything and was done in under an hour including all updates and setting up TruePlay. I turned on my TV, started Netflix and played Bullet Train (a movie I had watched recently). I was blown away by the performance. It sounded really good and the sound effects were jumping at me from all over the space (mostly behind me really). I immediately thought - this isn’t going back. Next I added my amazon music account to the sonos app. I have also used apps like Plex, Roon and Bluesound before so I’m familiar with music aggregator apps like this. But let me tell you that Sonos has the most versatile and complete app out there. There is support for every single music service you can think of. The switching between sources, searching for music and playing radio is probably the best I’ve come across any app. There are also decent settings that let you tweak speakers together or separately. But alll this hadn’t prepared me for how it would sound. I was again, blown away. I simply hadn’t expected music to sound so good through a sound bar. But it does. In fact, because of the satellite speakers, the sound stage is massive. It is way wider than my stereo setup. Now, does it sound as good as my Tektons with SVS sub driven by my Anthem MRX? No it doesn’t. But it’s honestly 90-95% there. The weakest link in my opinion is the sub. It’s a bit too boomy for music. Enabling Trueplay does tighten the bass response, but it’s still not close to the performance of a decent sealed sub. However, it wasn’t something you would notice in every song. Only some that call for it. I do hope they come out with maybe a higher spec sub in the future. I do think there is an appetite in the market for higher end wireless systems. The biggest thing I like by far about Sonos is that it just gets out of the way and lets you enjoy the music. You want to play music in different rooms using just your phone? You can do it. You want to use voice command? Sure. Don’t have a subscription and just want to play sonos radio? They got excellent selection. Honestly, the app is so good, I’ve been listening to more music than ever before. And I no longer really feel the need to turn on my bigger and more expensive system, which just goes to show how good this thing is. I’m probably going to get rid of all my other equipment and I think my future expansion will be under sonos eco-system. I feel like I’m discovering new music again after a long time.

I have nothing but good things to say about Sonos products I own a few of them, this is one of the best sound bars I've ever had combined with Sonos Sub, how easy it is to install and how quick you can have it up and running its incredible, I've only had it a couple months but Sonos has changed watching movies and listening to music in my home, extremely happy with the product, the app is great too!

Sound is amazing. Subwoofer is great. Best soundbar I have owned. Not unreasonably priced.

well i guess i need to buy the subwoofer and the rest of the sonos speakers now. can beat the quality of the sound and the technology in the speaker. handle with care, the "hard" exterior mesh like material is easy to bend when pressed.

Wonderful unit, great sound. Took my husband a while to install … directions online not too clear but he managed to get it done … Originally had the Bose bar system.. It broke down recently so we decided to try the new Sonis bar with woofer .. just love it.

I was looking to buy a Home theatre and had Best Buy Geek squad help me with shortlisting this product. Once the product was installed at home, we were mesmerized with the sound. Arc along with the sub-woofer gave the home theatre quality.

I purchased this sound bar a few weeks before I bough the new Vizio OLED. My plan was to connect it through the HDMI 2.1 port for full surround sound. I only used this on an older television and let me tell you the sound quality was amazing. I can’t even imagine what it would be like to hear Dolby Atmos on this. Ultimately I ended up returning this because I later found out it does not support DTS-X surround sound. Unfortunately a lot of my movie collection uses this technology. If you only stream movies and you want the best sounding sound bar I would go with the soundbar for sure.
