Easiest setup I have ever experienced with a soundbar. The sound is great with music and loud movies. The dialog volume seems to be a little low even after the balancing and tuning with the app. Paired with a sub and it makes more than enough noise for our living room.

After owning for a month or so, I am still very happy with the purchase and would probably buy again. I bought the soundbar alone at first to see how it sounded in the room without a sub. I was somewhat disappointed initially as it sounded quite thin, but I pretty much expected this would be the case as the room is large with a high ceiling. I also probably over-hyped myself as to what it would sound like. After all it is a soundbar and one should expect a bit of form over function in that regard. That being said, it does sound very nice. One of the first things I noticed is how clear and "wide" the voices were on the TV, which was always an issue with my last soundbar. My dogs were doing the confused head tilt for the first week as it really sounds like voices are coming from different areas of the room. I'm not much of a movie watcher but the Atmos functionality sounds pretty cool I guess. Everything sounds clear, music sounds great on it and I appreciate the night mode function in the app. I sort of wish there were more preset EQ settings but not a big deal. Once I added the sub I was extremely impressed. I plan to eventually get two satellites but haven't really felt like they were necessary so far. Probably my major disappointment is there is no way to do the room calibration without an apple device. Come on, for this price figure out something else - sell a standalone mic, certify the newest/most popular android devices or something. That seems like a huge piece of functionality to miss out on. For that I lowered my ease of use score, but it would be an easy 5 points there otherwise. I also don't love that I have to use the Sonos app to listen to something like Amazon Music but I can deal. The price could use to be about $100 less imo to feel like a great value.

I love my new Sonos Arc soundbar! I have the Sub and 2 Ones as surrounds. Watching tv and movies is awesome now with the new Sonos kit. My t.v. doesn't have ARC or e-Arc, so I haven't been able to experience the Dolby Atmos yet, but a new T.V. will be the next purchase!

Fantastic sound! It is very easy to set up using the HDMI cable provided to HDMI ARC on back of the TV. I am looking forward to adding the subwoofer soon but not sure its needed. It easily integrates with Amazon Alexa as well. Buy it.... you wont be disappointed.

Had to replace my last soundbar because it was not connecting to my TV. My new Sonos Soundbar was a little pricy, but so far seems well worth the money. The quality is great and I don't even have a subwoofer or other external speakers yet. Setting it up was a little awkward and maybe that was an issue with my TV, but it wouldn't connect at first. In the morning, everything started working automatically and now I have no issues whatsoever. Very Happy!

What a great sound bar, bought different ones in the past , this one has worked the best for my open concept room. The set up was easy and even made it sound better than just out of the box .

The Sonos Arc is awesome when you have equipment that can take advantage of Dolby ATMOS! The sound flys around the entire room! The only issue I have with the Sonos Arc is that it only has one HDMI port that you have to use to connect to your HDMI eArc/Arc port on your TV. If you don’t have an eArc port the best you will get is Dolby Digital+ which is just shy of Dolby ATMOS quality. This is the case for me right now. If the Sonos Arc had a second HDMI port I could connect my 4K Apple TV directly to it which would allow me to get Dolby Digital+, I am limited to Dolby Digital only via the AppleTV right now.

I think the "multidirectional projection" is overstated. It's a great soundbar but the upper, left and right projected sound is not detectable to me. My room may not be large enough but I don't detect them. Dialog is better than the old soundbar model but, again, A B testing isn't possible. As a long time Sonos customer (have 10 pieces various models over 6 years) I do think it's overpriced though. Sonos "play 5" and "Sub" are the most impressive products for their respective size. I don't have 2 Subs but I'd like to try it someday perhaps for the omnidirectional loading. A turntable and a pair of play 5's are very respectable audiofile listening setup. Simple and relatively inexpensive, no pre amp or amp needed.

I love this soundbar from Sonos. In my opinon, the placement of this sonos is the key because it took me awhile why it sound weird when I first used it. Keep in mind, my TV sits low and the soundbar sits higher on the stand of the TV. Everyone is saying that this soundbar is good paired with the sub. I would get both the sonos and the sub because it would make this Soundbar shine. If you already have sonos speaker at home, buy this to complete it.

I purchased the Sonos Arc, Gen3 sub and a 250 watt amp to push rear speakers. I already had amp pushing two BW front speakers and external sub. The only issue i ran into was that sonos would only allow my setup to include the Arc, Rear speakers, and Gen3 sub since the arc is supposed to be the front and center speakers. I was able to get everything to work as one and it sounds incredible. I had to use the sonso app on my cell phone and combine both setups to run as a group. Only down fall is that you need to use your cell app to control the volumes, But it sounds incredible for both Music and movies. Will purchase another arc for bed room

Well opened the huge box.. no remote control? On the pricey side. Easy hookup, sounds radiates up well to fill the room with robust sound also when watching tv voices very clear. Replaced a Bose 700 sound bar …. And so far very pleased- definitely an improvement App easy to work with… easily programmed tv remote Be sure you have plenty of room this is a large speaker - I’m using with a 55 inch tv and speaker is as long as the tv.

Purchased the Sonos Beam and it sounded like it, sound was narrow and flat. Upgraded to the Arc, it has a much wider sound stage and fuller bass response as it has twice the drivers. I have the Arc paired with Ikea Symfonisk rear speakers hacked with a high level input to a 12in MTX home theater sub, skipping the Sonos sub gen3 for now. Unfortunately Sonos doesn't have an additional HDMI input to take advantage of Dolby Atmos so I upgraded to the Sony 65 A8H that has the necessary e-Arc HDMI port. Atmos is available on select titles within a few streaming services ie Space Force on Netflix but Schitt's Creeks same service does not produce Atmos. Overall the soundbar sounds great but don't let the hype fool you its a single soundbar and doesn't provide enough standalone for my liking and for the price you could get more like the Vizio Elevate full surround 5.1.4 which has excessive inputs and could produce Atmos on an older TV with compatible device such as Nvidia-SHIELD. I'll keep the Arc as it was what I wanted but the full package is just so dàmn expensive.
