I bought this sound-bar in conjunction with the LGCX65 and let me tell you that I don’t think I could be any more impressed. Any situation, at any volume is just concert quality sound. Ability to sync with my Apple Music library is a very nice feature as is the room tuning with the App. (Don’t forget to do this, it literally tunes the system to your room and I was able to notice the difference immediately.). Set up is extremely easy also, I was up and running in about ten minutes. Seamlessly integrated with my TV and Cable box remotes. Not an entry level product at an $800 price point, but this is absolutely a premium product that delivers premium sound. I can’t imagine anyone possibly being disappointed after hearing it.

I bought this to add Atmos sound to compliment my new LG Oled tv and replace my 13 year old TV and Bose Cinemate 1SR soundbar. I expected to get this plugged in and be blown away by the difference compared to my 13 year old system. But I wasn't. Maybe my expectations were too high? It's still very good but first I'll start with my disappointments. Does not include a remote control. My LG tv remote and a couple other devices will not control the sound so I have to use the app with those devices. I also added a sub to this soundbar. I'll write a separate review for the sub but in my opinion, my 13 year old Bose sounded a little better. Volume up and down are increments that are pre-determined. I find that sometimes the lowest increment is too loud, leaving no more adjustability. Which is unlike my old system that faded up or down, being infinitely adjustable. I also had issues setting up this system. It took awhile but ultimately after two hours everything seemed to be in working order. These are minor gripes that I did not expect with this premium product, therefor did not have much weight on my rating. Music does sound very good on this bar and my Apple Music subscription integrated perfectly in the app. The app is very nice and easy to use. I've tuned everything in the app. It sounds good and it has been working flawlessly since. Ultimately, I will be relying on the expandability of Sonos products to take this from very good to great.

No regrets, I got this at an amazing deal before Christmas. Cheapest it's ever been. This sound bar paired with it's subwoofer is an absolute beast. Highly recommend. The sound quality is incredible and i love that you can build/add to it as you wish. It straight up sounds like a home theater. Simple and quick to set up up. It's has Bluetooth capability but it's main connection is through Wi-Fi. You can have multiple Sonos speakers and control each one simultaneously or individually through the phone app - Meaning you can have your entire househole/outdoor playing the exact same thing at equal or different volumes or have each one playing something different at the exact same time. Superb.

I actually bought the samsung q990c hoping to save some money. It lasted 30 minutes before it was boxed up and returned. The arc with 2 era 300s for surrounds is clear, articulate, dynamic and easy to use. If it helps, i also have a marantz, martin logan motion 40 and 50, 5.1.2 system. The sonos in no way matches it, but for ease of use and family friendly decor, the sonos system has taken over my living room and my other system is moving to the loft.

I was on the fence with the Sonos Arc and Bose 900 soundbars. I finally decided to move forward with the Sonos Arc because the sound was very distinct coupled with the Sub (Gen 3). There was a nice balance between the highs and the lows. From movies to just playing songs through Spotify or Tidal, the Arc delivers amazing quality. It was fairly easy to set up through the app and allows for tweaking of the equalizer within the app. For the price, Sonos is the way to go!

I wasn’t sure how good this soundbar would be because the in-store demo audio isn’t that telling. I did the curbside pickup and it came in a pretty well packaged box. It made me feel like I was unboxing some serious equipment. It was simple to hook up and all ran though the Sonos app on your phone. The whole audio setup is pretty intuitive before you actually start to use it. I tested different types of sound from action movies down to drama. The balance is real nice. The problem I’ve had with other soundbars was that I had a tough time hearing dialogue and always had to adjust the volume for that and when it switched to action. You also have the ability to adjust bass and treble through the app which is nice. The feature that I really like is night mode. This is very convenient if you have neighbors connected to you like in a row home or condo or if you have a child sleeping. This mode will boost audio for dialogue and scale back the audio impact of action sounds like explosions so that you never have to adjust the volume. You can buy a separate subwoofer for this or even speakers to create more of a realistic surround experience, but really, this soundbar is good enough to stand on its own without any of it. The price tag is hefty, but you get what you pay for. A friend of mine is a home theater buff like I am, so it was cool to see his reaction. I have this hooked up to a LG OLED CX. He was highly impressed with the TV, but was even more impressed with the soundbar, so to me that was saying a lot.

    Sonos Arc Review

Sonos Arc soundbar is best in class. Easy to mount and set up, simple user interface with the Sonos App, and most importantly, incredible sound. I hooked it up through the eArc port on my television, and the lossless sound is perfectly synced to all the programs. There is a clear quality difference in listening to something on regular cable television vs. something streamed in Dolby Atmos. Also, the seamless Airplay compatibility allows user to play music from anywhere in the house. The soundbar is pricey, but you won't be disappointed.

    Sonos Arc, a phenomenal soundbar

I recently purchased the Sonos Arc to replace a JBL bar 5.1 soundbar that I was having nothing but problems with. First of all, even without satellite speakers the Arc's sound quality is amazing. I always purchase high end, flagship model tv's but have a habit for cheaping out on the audio. I have a good surround sound system in my living room, but this sound bar was meant for my master bedroom, which is where I end up watching the majority of TV and movies. Set up was a breeze, I got two stands for my satellite speakers and with a quick download of the app and few quick instructions followed, the soundbar was configured to the subwoofer and satellite speakers. The sound quality out of the Arc is amazing. This system brought depth to my TV and movies that the JBL bar 5.1 just couldn't compete with. I would hope so, considering the entire 2.1 setup costs around $2k. While the bar 5.1 was about $700. This unit does great job of pickup up and playing miss, highs and lows. The mode that focuses on spoken dialogue is amazing as well, many times while watching action movies, the dialogue gets drowned out by bangs and explosions. All I can say is, if you're on the fence about grabbing one of these set ups, don't hesitate. It was worth every dollar, I wish I would have made the purchase sooner.

The more I hear the ARC the more I am impressed with its deep rich immersive sound. I love this addition to my living room TV. I have a home theater system so I wanted something for this television I would enjoy listening to without the required speakers hanging on the walls or taking up space on the floor. This fit the bill and was worth the expensive price tag. It has plenty of bass for movies even without the added subwoofer. I’ve owned this for over 9 months before writing this review. Highly recommend!

Excellent sound quality, sturdy design, and simplicity in assembly and connection. You can easily attach it to your TV mount or wall in a short time! No need to mention that you are buying a pricy soundbar! I'm considering replacing my 2014 Samsung TV since it has a lot of sound quality reduction. After I paired it with my iPhone, my 3.5-year-old daughter began to play her songs on it, including Happy, Spiderman, and I Can't Feel My Face. Of course, we must listen to each song five or six times, otherwise, my lady will be sad!

This device was recommend to me during a free home theater consultation. The recommendation was the Sonos Arc, the Sonos Sub, and two Sonos One SL's (without Alexa built in). There are a few reasons I really like the Sonos Arc. -If you are building a system piece by piece, this is the first piece you will want. It has 11 speakers, rich sound, and fills the room with little effort. -Dolby Atmos and eARC. I shouldn't need to say more, as someone spending $900 on a soundbar would have done research on these. If you haven't, here ya go: Atmos up-firing speakers, combined with the side-firing stereo speakers and Sonos Trueplay enrich and make the audio experience seem.. surreal. eARC is the best/quickest way to get the sound signature to translate accurately without messing with delay or optical ADAT to HDMI adapter (in box). -If you don't have an extra $750 to spring for the Sub yet, the Arc provides plenty of depth. The Sub just adds that extra 40-100Hz thickness that a well produced movie can use at the right times. -The look. My wife and I purchased an extendable wall mount to be able to hide wires and change position as needed. I put it 4-6 inches below the TV as recommended, and this thing floats VERY nicely above the console table we purchased for the area. We had about .25 to .75 inches to spare, which was a bit of a nailbiter lol. -If you buy into an ecosystem (hello all of us Google and Apple fans), Sonos works with Sonos, and very well at that. You can add and remove speakers to a room effortlessly, tune them to that room, and change EQ and other settings as desired. -Alexa and Google Home built in. I can now take our main Echo into the upstairs section and use the Sonos Arc as my "action" starter downstairs. For anyone who loves smart home devices, this is a game changer. Thanks for attending my TED Talk.

After some extensive research, I am convinced to have Sonos system. I bought the Sonos Arc, Sonos 3rd gen Sub, and a pair of Sonos SL. The setup is extremely simple with the Sonos app. However, Sonos Arc is using HDMI-eArc, which is the main port to get the Dolby Atmos effect, be sure to verify if your TV has the HDMI-eArc!! The quality of the sound is superb for a soundbar. The wireless features worth the extra money instead of running through bunch of cables and wires.

I bought this today to pair with my LG G4 65" OLED EVO TV from Best Buy. Pairing was easy. Sound (without the subwoofer, which i didn't buy) perfectly paired with my LG OLED G4. Great bass and audio in Dolby Atmos were very clear. I watched Citadel on Amazon. Sounds were clear and loud. You'll be amazed. Highly recommended!

I would’ve gave it 5 stars but here’s why I didn’t. I’m going to get straight to it. The quality sound that this system puts out is simply unmatched. Never heard a surround sound system like it before. BUT, here’s the downside to it. IT WILL NOT STAY CONNECTED TO MY TV (Samsung)! Evidently this is a known problem according to the Sonos community. When I was researching this issue I found that I’m not the only one by far. Every time I pause what I’m watching for more than 5 minutes or cut the tv off completely the system loses connection with the television. When that happens I have to disconnect the power from the soundbar for a couple of minutes then plug it back in. This issue isn’t something I expected from a product from Sonos especially when you’re paying the hefty price tag for it. FYI…I did everything that is recommended to fix this problem and I’m still having the same issues.

Absolutely amazing. This is the best sound bar I’ve had heard by far. I have it synced with two Sonos ones, for great surroundsound. I do not have the woofer, but it it has good bass too. It’s streamline design mounts easily to the wall.
