Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you do some searching you'll find quite a few complaints on high treble sound ("metallic", "sss" pronounced) and lack of bass. I have to agree to some extent, but not to the dramatic degree some of expressed. I have the sub and One SLs which help. Hopefully an update will come soon and alleviate the issues. I replaced an all-in-one 5.1 Sony system from 13 years ago and still miss it to some degree.

I still don't know how to play just music without the tv. As far as the system, i am not fully satisfied because i wanted something that played music as well as the surround sound. There is a distinctive difference.
