First of all I would have purchased the ARC [white] regardless because the black playbar never matched my decor. That said, if you previously owned the Sonos 5.1 with the previous Playbar you will not be disappointed with the ARC. A little more crisp, nothing lost in quality for TV and Music playback. Airplay2 is a much needed bonus. No more need to play music from that convoluted and bugged down iOS/PC Sonos app. For my setup, I just swapped the Playbar with the ARC using previous Sub and ONE Surrounds. Just remove the sub and surrounds from previous setup. Unplug the Playbar, Power up the ARC and set it up, then power on the ONES and Sub and add them to the ARC. Voila. Dolby Atmos: I have mixed feelings and little bit disappointed. Here is why. I used a Dolby Atmos Demo CD to test the sound. The limitation of soundbars in effectively reproducing Dolby Atmos sound effects is well known. I believe Sonos built the ARC with users who might be using the unit by itself alone in mind. So the ARC was designed as a dedicated Dolby Atmos system with the up-firing speakers built-in. Now, what happens when you add 2 ONE surround speakers and a sub. For some reason the ARC does not pass on or share the Dolby Atmos sound effects with the Surrounds, it tries to reproduce all the effects by itself. And there-in lies the limitations. I've seen other 5.1 systems that come very close to reproducing the Dolby Atmos sound effects by using the surround speakers. I believe the ARC in a 5.1 setup could do even better if only the surrounds were in concert. Hopefully with future firmware updates this can be achieved. In the meantime the ARC rocks.

Amazing sound, easy set up. Very easy to mount and pair with TV. Dolby ATMOS is awesome.

Excellent sound quality, sturdy design, and simplicity in assembly and connection. You can easily attach it to your TV mount or wall in a short time! No need to mention that you are buying a pricy soundbar! I'm considering replacing my 2014 Samsung TV since it has a lot of sound quality reduction. After I paired it with my iPhone, my 3.5-year-old daughter began to play her songs on it, including Happy, Spiderman, and I Can't Feel My Face. Of course, we must listen to each song five or six times, otherwise, my lady will be sad!

Outstanding, once set up correctly. I had a hard time setting this up and connecting the sub. But after an hour, it all sync. Not as loud as my older surround sound, Bose. But I'm happy with it

I bought this today to pair with my LG G4 65" OLED EVO TV from Best Buy. Pairing was easy. Sound (without the subwoofer, which i didn't buy) perfectly paired with my LG OLED G4. Great bass and audio in Dolby Atmos were very clear. I watched Citadel on Amazon. Sounds were clear and loud. You'll be amazed. Highly recommended!

After some extensive research, I am convinced to have Sonos system. I bought the Sonos Arc, Sonos 3rd gen Sub, and a pair of Sonos SL. The setup is extremely simple with the Sonos app. However, Sonos Arc is using HDMI-eArc, which is the main port to get the Dolby Atmos effect, be sure to verify if your TV has the HDMI-eArc!! The quality of the sound is superb for a soundbar. The wireless features worth the extra money instead of running through bunch of cables and wires.

Got Arc to replace Beam. Price was awesome and I'm very excited. Couldn't justify paying $1,000 for the Arc ultra when there's not much of a difference.

This thing is amazing. The sounds coming out of it with Dobly Atmos is immersive. I paired mine with the sub. It will blow you away. I’ve had plenty of sound bars in my life but nothing compares to this. The sounds are so crisp and clear. I downloaded the Sonos app and it helped with the setup. The airplay feature is amazing, no issues at all. Alexa on it works great. It’s a little pricey but if you can get it on sale that’s even better. Go for it, you won’t regret it.

Easy to set up and has great sound! I love the fact that you can buy it in pieces instead of all at once and still have a great audio experience. I purchased the soundbar and mini sub but plan to add some rear speakers soon.

Absolutely amazing. This is the best sound bar I’ve had heard by far. I have it synced with two Sonos ones, for great surroundsound. I do not have the woofer, but it it has good bass too. It’s streamline design mounts easily to the wall.

This Sonos Arc sound bar ROCKS!! Easy hook up and sounds amazing. Highly recommend. Really can't go wrong with Sonos. Great help at the store with selecting the Arc sound bar for the space I have at home.

Sonos is a superior product easy to setup, sounds!

I added their best sub and two One-SLs for a premium Dolby Atmos experience. Lossless and Apple Spatial(through AppleTV 4K) is phenomenal. The system was very easy to setup with the app and it uses your phone to activate each component. So if your looking for premium home theater sound and a great music system and you do not want to build a complete home theater system, this is for you.

Buy it you won’t be sorry. This speaker produces the clearest sound. I upgraded from the play bar and this exceeded my expectations. And the ability to play atmos is huge plus. This speaker has incredible style functionality. The arc is easy to install with using your iPhone.

Very easy to set up and very sleek and stylish looking

Excellent sound including voice clarity and simple set up. Very easy to hang on wall using the optional wall mount. I’ve had nothing but Bose for many years and still respect them but this sound bar dominates.

Well here is the truth about this wonderful soundbar. I have a 7.2 dolby atmos full klipsh home stereo with 2 paradigm 15 inch subs and let me tell you. I havent used my home stereo but maybe 4 times since my purchase of this Sonos Arc. I love my Sonos Arc as it is extremely impressive, which is why I havent used my home stereo. The full dolby atmos with the surround on this Arc is insane. Ive gotten a hand full of home theater enthusiasts to buy this Arc and more just from demoing a movie. Dont get me wrong i still enjoy and earthquake or 2, too some good music with the home stereo. Latley I've been so focus into what a full arc sytem could sound like. Would highly recommend buying a Sonos Arc.

This Sonos music system brings you truly into the concert hall or recording studio the moment you press “play”. Surround sound envelopes our living room with such reality, we often think the opening on a movie set door is as though someone is coming into our house! Setup takes hardly more than plugging everything in!

Bought the Sonos Arc soundbar on August 3 and sonos gen 3 sub. At first look it is a very attractive looking piece of equipment. The quality of the sound is top notch. I played some music through Pandora and was very satisfied. The sub will give you all the bass you would ever want. You have a lot of options when it comes to soundbars but the Sonos Arc does a great job giving top quality sound. If you are looking for a more high end product I believe you will be very happy with this soundbar. I also had the TV and soundbar mounted by the Geek Squad. See photo.

I added the Sonos arc to my Bravia 8 TV and I’m very pleased with the easy set up and excellent sound quality. It has deep rich sounds with clear dialogue which come from all directions, as relevant to the video. I highly recommend.
