Amazing soundbar, powerful and clear sound whether you are listening to music or TV/movies. It also has nice bass even without the subwoofer. Works as a "hub" when you connect other Sonos devices to it wirelessly (subwoofer, surround sound speakers, etc). Only trouble I had was during initial setup, it is supposed to connect to your wi-fi but it wouldn't. I had to use an ethernet cable and plug directly to a port in the router to finish the setup. Afterwards, the soundbar was able to find the wi-fi and complete the process as I connected other devices to it. Other than that hiccup, I love the quality and am very happy with it.

Didn’t have much faith in the Arc. Not going to lie. My parents have always used sound bars and outside of being marginally louder than tv speakers I never found them to be impressive. This is an entirely different breed of soundbar. No, it does not replicate a true Left, Right, and Center speaker. But it’s the CLOSEST option having that setup without actually running the wires. I’d be hesitant to use this bar in my large living room.. but for a bedroom or office it has NO problem filling the room with quality tasteful sound. PS- Atmos is absolutely as awesome as it’s hyped up to be.

The sound quality is great but the volume does not go as loud as it should. Also, the dialogue does not match the people speaking on the screen. I have tried adjusting that using their system, but it just does not work well. I also have the Sonos Mini subwoofer hooked up to this system. It puts out great Bass!

Easy set-up, and great sound! Really takes movies and TV to the next level w/o having the bulk of a full home theater system.

Fabulous sound, seamless integration, a great setup overall. I'm using the Arc in my home theater with the ERA 300 speakers and sub mini. Much simpler to use than my old Pioneer Elite receiver and Infinity 5.1 setup.

I was having a hard time comparing this one to Samsung sound bars, but after looking at different reviews and reading more into Sonos, i decided to go for it - it did not disappoint! Its a beefy sound bar, with speakers on the side as well! The app is easy to use and makes setup easy, along with voice control. I can't wait to add more speakers and a subwoofer as well.

I was fortunate to buy the Sonos soundbar that was available in stock at Best Buy in Nashua. I’ved had previously ordered it online at the BB site. About 4 days later, I’ve received an email to pick up my soundbar. Since Sonos products are priced the same in majority of websites, I felt more comfortable to pick it up at my local store than having it shipped. Needless to say, the packaging was superb and there was a handy carrying handle to carry it i to my car. Product was easy to setup as long as you own a smartphone and the ATMOS feature was a key feature in buying for my home theater setup.

This is a really great sound bar. I have mine paired with 2 play ones for surround and it truly packs a punch. The bass on the sound bar is amazing, I will be getting the sub gen 3 to complete the system, but on its own the sound bar has amazing bass response. Currently I have the sound bar connected with arc (not eARC) but I am able to get Dolby atmos through my TVs built in apps. Atmos on the bar is amazing. I can only imagine how much better it will sound if connected with eARC and a good 4K blu ray player. Do your research and make sure your settings are right for your devices and you will get the most out of this device.

    More Than Satisfied With Sonos

Had a Sony HT5000 and upgraded to the Arc with sub. The Sony was muddy and the mids/voices were often hard to understand. With Sonos the clarity difference is significant. Instrumentation can be differentiated. Bass is not too heavy, but seems to match very well whether it is a movie/TV/mp3. The new Top Gun was fun to hear. I wish it was a little cheaper, but I’m not regretful. I had a lower level Klipsch before the Sony. Sonos has out shined them both.

INCREDIBLE. I was always hesitant on getting rid of my 5.2 set up. Decided to sell everything and go with the Arc and sub. No more cable clutter and my living room now looks bigger. Beyond impressed. The set up was a breeze. The app to do so worked perfectly and I was up and running in less than 5 minutes. Sound is crystal clear and with the sub, the bass is just amazing. And both items looks so pretty. Really good design. Incredibly recommended.

Pros: Excellent soundbar, easily connects to the sonos subwoofer and speakers to create a powerful home theater system. I highly recommend the entire system. Shipping was quick by bestbuy. Fedex did not do a good job and left these in the open when raining however the packing was done well so the sonos boxes were unaffected, Will only stream from sonos app or IOS but not from android or windows (Such as youtube on laptop) Cons: cannot pair directly via bluetooth with peripherals for streaming purposes - such as your android phone or laptop. For such an expensive system, I would have expected easy connectivity to listen to any streaming source.

    Sonos--solid performing audio equipment

I have been a Sonos customer almost since the product line was launched so I do have a bias that Sonos makes amazing speaker systems. The Arc is no exception. With its eleven drivers, the soundbar sounds excellent by itself, and even better when paired with rear speakers and a sub woofer. The sound is full, fills the room and enhances television and movies very well for many sized rooms. Sonos makes setup of any of its products easy and what separates Sonos from competition is each product is how amazing a whole house sounds when multiple Sonos products can sync together to play music in any and all rooms you have a speaker placed. Walking from room to room, you hear the same music played perfectly sync'ed. You can play different music too and with Alexa integration we just ask for what we want to hear and we don't even have to use our smart phones to control our speakers. One point that isn't clarified enough in my opinion is the Sonos Arc does play Dolby Atmos from standard HDMI ARC too if the TV presents it via internal streaming players or simply get a Chromecast. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney + apps do have content with Atmos. The added nuances to movies are easily noticed. Dolby and Sonos go together amazingly. Directions and many online videos say the TV must support eARC (enhanced audio reverse channel) but my Vizio quantum dot TV presents Atmos just fine though the HDMI ARC port. Good luck, these speakers are expensive but just speaking for my experience when I upgrade I find the build quality superb. I have given away Play 3s, Play 5s, playbars, to my friends and family as they never break or need repair. The quality exceeds my expectation. Everyone hears music and sound a little differently so I appreciate Bose, Harmon Kardon, Klipsch, Polk Audio and other great sounding speakers as well. Many will find it hard to distinguish Sonos above their favorites and I agree. To me, the audio production is on par with any if not above higher end speakers and what places sonos over the edge for me is it's unique ability to interoperate with all Sonos products together so you can build a whole home experience from room to room. I am not compensated in any way from Sonos, just true experience. I would like the costs to be 25 to 50% less personally but the investment has been worth it for the years I have experienced with mine.
