Amazing sound. The base is strong and I don't feel the need for a sub at this point. Clear voice with the option turned on. the sound with Dolby Atmos is truly wonderful, you feel like your in the theater. The best bar I have ever had.

Sonos ARC is GOOD but what's the "real" problem?

The Sonos name is easily recognized and synonymous with quality audio, and I don't disagree with that. In a word, the Sonos ARC is GREAT, however, if you're trying to build your A/V starting with existing equipment, save yourself a LOT of time & money. Take a look at your current equipment FIRST. I was ready to give up 5 beautiful B&W speakers for the ARC. I got the ARC, but it still wasn't giving me what I wanted. Let's think about it a minute...Most of us want to run A/V thru our existing audio systems i.e. receiver, amp, speakers, etc. BUT can your existing system handle everything you're trying to throw at it (i.e. DSX, DSX2, ATMOS, DD, DDE, DD+, ProLogic, Virtual, DTS, and on, and on??? In most cases, if you have quality speakers that you like, as I do (nobody says B&W's are "junk"), I found it was my receiver that was the problem all along. I was asking too much of it, and it just wasn't able to do it. Kinda' like tryin' to break the land speed record with a lawn mower...It's got the "basics"...Wheels, engine, seat, etc. I switched-out to a new receiver and magic started happening, the kind of magic that I was trying to hear! The Sonos ARC is a good piece of equipment, however do your homework first, and find out if a simple component "upgrade" will work and you may save BIG $$$ (that you spend on more speakers <G>) & goodies!

It is great. Sound quality is good. We lost side speaker when we plugged them out of power. But It was easy to connect them back using the App. Little bit on expensive side but totally worth it. I bought it along with Sub and side speakers.

    Best soundbar for home

I love this soundbar from Sonos. In my opinon, the placement of this sonos is the key because it took me awhile why it sound weird when I first used it. Keep in mind, my TV sits low and the soundbar sits higher on the stand of the TV. Everyone is saying that this soundbar is good paired with the sub. I would get both the sonos and the sub because it would make this Soundbar shine. If you already have sonos speaker at home, buy this to complete it.

I've given it a few months test drive before writing this review. I think the sound is excellent and it was fairly easy to set up (I'm far from techie). It add a richness to the weak and shallow sounding TV speaker. I think to truly enjoy all that it is capable of I will need to pair it with the subwoofer which I did not do originally. Guess that is on the wish list next. While a bit pricey I would recommend it.

Really nice! I had this in my home a couple of weeks before the Arc Ultra was launched. I swapped it out for the Arc Ultra but I actually think this older version Arc might have actually sounded better! I’ll keep the Arc Ultra for future proofing. So, if you are tight on budget, this arc is excellent!

The best sound bar I’ve ever owned. The price is way too high. Let’s be honest, but the quality is amazing!! Especially when paired with the Sonos Subwoofer. If you stand to spend the money, I would definitely recommend.

The good - An improvement over my original SONOS Playbar. Crisper and cleaner sound and noticeable improvement in speech when watching TV. And it’s better looking and fits better with my LG 74” TV. Great visual matchup. The not so good - setup was much more difficult than with my Playbar. The Arc picked up my subwoofer immediately but lost the two Play One surrounds. Multiple attempts on my own; gooig to online help and forums did not provide any solutions. Finally after multiple attempts with SONOS tech support doing the same things that I did on my own, we rebooted my modem and moved the surrounds to where the modem was. SUCCESS after over an hour with tech support. They were helpful, diligent and persistent. One other caution - my LG TV does not have HDMI audio out only optical out so you have to use the provided SONOS adapter. It’s not the same tight fit as the SONOS Playbar optical cable - a not as tight or deep so I am getting occasional popping noises in the audio output.

After a week of using the Arc Soundbar paired with the Sonos Gen 3 Sub, I am quite pleased. This was an addition to a bedroom setup with an eARC capable television. Thus, the setup allows for Dolby Atmos features to work. The sound quality is quite good. Though not as impressive as a dedicated 5.4.1 setup, the surround effects are convincing. Dialog clarity is good and there is an enhance feature that works well, if those frequencies require additional emphasis. The setup, using the Sonos app, was straight forward, easy and quick. Appropriately setup, there are no lip synch issues with my OLED google OS based system (nvidia shield). This was an excellent addition to our room.

Easy setup with earc on my Sony 900h. I love the fact it automatically works with tv remote. Sonos app is simple to use. I upgraded to soundbar from an older model of Bose 2.1 system and it sounds just as good and even better. I love it.

The Sonos Arc Sounbar is an amazing upgrade from the Sonos Beam, which was itself an amazing soundbar! The Arc fills the room a little better, and when coupled with the Sonos 1 and Sonos Subwoof, the sound is just incredible. Very easy to set up, too!

We really love this sound bar. Change the whole tv/movie watching game in our home. The only thing i would change is that the Sonos system doesnt give you any numbers. So you cant really track where you are on the sound scale.
