Great sound ! I’ve been using Sonos speakers for over a year, and they’ve completely transformed how I experience music at home. The sound quality is phenomenal, with crisp highs and deep bass that fill the room without distortion. Setting up the system was incredibly easy, and the app is intuitive and reliable. What I love most is the multi-room audio feature—it’s seamless and perfect for entertaining or just enjoying music throughout my home. The integration with streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music works flawlessly, and the voice assistant compatibility is a nice touch. Highly recommend Sonos if you’re looking for a premium audio experience!

Well here is the truth about this wonderful soundbar. I have a 7.2 dolby atmos full klipsh home stereo with 2 paradigm 15 inch subs and let me tell you. I havent used my home stereo but maybe 4 times since my purchase of this Sonos Arc. I love my Sonos Arc as it is extremely impressive, which is why I havent used my home stereo. The full dolby atmos with the surround on this Arc is insane. Ive gotten a hand full of home theater enthusiasts to buy this Arc and more just from demoing a movie. Dont get me wrong i still enjoy and earthquake or 2, too some good music with the home stereo. Latley I've been so focus into what a full arc sytem could sound like. Would highly recommend buying a Sonos Arc.

Money well spent! The sound is better than expected. The setup - This was super easy to setup. However, with my router there was a setting that I needed to turn on but I could not access my router settings so this took me longer than it should have. It would have taken 10 min instead of the hour it took for me. Most of that time was searching for a lan cable. I connected directly to my router and once that was done it pretty much finished setting it self up in 5min. I found the sound tuning to be fun. That definitely enhanced the sound for the room. Paired the arc with the sub gen 3. I also live in a tiny apt in NYC. So far no neighbor complaints. But I’m also not blasting sound at 1am. I’ll turn it up during reasonable hours when watching movies. The max sound limiter is amazing, I have the limit set to 65%. Which is way more than enough for the small space I’m in. If I do ever need more I can change it in the app in seconds. I have the sub set at -10. Just my preference as it can really rock the apt at loud volumes. Best investment if you prioritize theater quality sound for movies. I haven’t listened to music much on it but it does sound good when I tried it. I use to be a Bose guy, I’m now converted to Sonos. I just can’t say enough at how much I love this thing!!! I’ll definitely be adding more speakers in the future.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN EARC TV

Dolby Atmos changes the way music and movies sound. Worth the buy for that alone. I paired with the Sonos Sub and two ONE SLs. Once you use their trueplay software it basically balances out your room and it will literally blow your mind as you listen to music and movies that are built for atmos. A couple of notes: -To get the most of this bar you will need an Apple TV. Apple TV is one of the only devices that offers lossless playback and Dolby Atmos for music. Not every song is rebuilt for Atmos yet, but there is a good selection. You’ll obviously also need the Apple Music subscription for this. They have playlists that walk you through what it sounds like once Atmos is on. - If you have an older TV without EARC, you won’t be able to get true Atmos. If you are planning on buying this soundbar I would say the best feature it has is the Atmos. I have an older model so this was an issue for me. I purchased the HD FIRE ARCANA and it has fixed my EARC issue. I am now receiving full Atmos over my normal Arc and it displays this in the Sonos app. - Disney, Netflix, PRIME and some HBO movies have Atmos. You’ll see it displayed before you play the movie. The only way to truly tell if you’re getting it is if it is displaying it in the Sonos app. You’ll definitely be able to hear it though.

When I purchased the Sonos sound bar I wasn’t sure if it would have the sound quality I was searching for but when I installed it and by the way it was easy to install the sound was totally adjustable for my space and it sounds amazing it is by far the best sound from a sound bar I’ve heard and I have had other sound bars and none compare. Best purchase I’ve made in a while. I totally recommend anyone to purchase one the sound is spot on.

I've had a few soundbars in my time and the Sonos is honestly one of the most immersive and engaging soundbars I have yet to experience. The center channel is really good and makes hearing dialogue so much easier than the other soundbars and as a 5.0.2 soundbar it can actually play surround sound formats without having to mix it down to stereo. The sound quality is really amazing. Playing something in atmos has truly been the best experience I've had with any sort of audio equipment so far. The soundstage is nice and wide but you still have a precision to effects and placements and there is a warmth to the sound missing with other speakers. All in all, it's a fantastic sounding bar especially for an all in one bar. There are a few downsides and negatives tho that aren't directly related to the quality of the sound. 1. The bar is a bit high if you're using it in front of your tv. Obviously the amount of drivers and the quality necessitates the height of the soundbar but depending on the tvs stand design, you might cut off the bottom portion of the image from view. 2. The bar doesn't have any hdmi in ports so in order to truly get the best sound quality from your devices your going to need a tv with eARC. This is a very recent development and only new tvs will generally ahve it and even then it may not be so polished an experience. It would have been nice to have at least one hdmi in port on the bar to replace the eARC port it's connected to on the tv. 3. Unlike other soundbars, the Arc doesn't do any sort of sound upscaling, your only going to get what the original audio signal is. IMO, I don't see this as a problem since it's playing back the content as how it was originally encoded but it would be nice to have the choice to upscale the sound. 4. The biggest issue I see with the ARC is that it doesn't currently support DTS audio at all or multi-channel PCM. The PCM support is supposed it be coming in a firmware update soon (allegedly by the end of November) but the lack of any sort of DTS support may be a deal breaker for those with a lot of blu-ray discs that use the format. I don't see any really reason why both Dolby and DTS can't be supported. 5. Adding the additional speakers and sub is expensive but also increases the performance of the Arc. I currently have the sub also connected with the Arc and you can really tell the differemce in the sound. Adding the sub allows the speakers in the bar to focus on the other frequencies which makes the audio louder and also a bit clearer. I don't have the surrounds but I imagine it would have a similar effect allowing the bars speakers to fully focus on the overhead and LCR channels. Unfortunately it's going to cost you as much or likely much more than other soundbars that include all of these components together from the start. The negatives list may seem a bit long but in the face of the absolute quality of the sound on offer, if you can live with it I don't think you'll have any regrets with this purchase.

The Sonos Arc is the best soundbar ... bar none! The set up is easy. The style is very sleek and modern. The sound is next level... Nothing close. You can not go wrong with this soundbar. I purchased the subwoofer and 2 Sonos Ones for a complete 5.1 system. Best home theater available.

This Sonos music system brings you truly into the concert hall or recording studio the moment you press “play”. Surround sound envelopes our living room with such reality, we often think the opening on a movie set door is as though someone is coming into our house! Setup takes hardly more than plugging everything in!

The sound and the clarity are superb to others in the price range. The ease of set-up, makes this the most user friendly sound at yet, and you can actually get a taste of Dolby atmos even without the other speakers that would normally be needed to surround you.

I've had surround sound receivers and other sound bars but none compare to the Sonos. When I reviewed soundbars to go with a 65" TV with eARC that allows Dolby Atmos I wanted the best bang for my buck. I had to wait 3 months because of back orders but it was well worth the wait. This soundbar is incredible! I also went with the sub and surround speakers, yes expensive, believe me it's worth it. You will find yourself looking behind you often thinking there's water running or someone else is in the room, it's fantastic! I play music a lot, this system is awesome, the sound loud or soft is crystal clear and the bass is powerful. Buy it now or save and get it later, but get it!

Sonos Arc has all the things that I was looking for in a sound bar on paper. It has eARC, Dolby Atmos, ability to add a wireless sub and rear speakers. It was out of stock everywhere and I had to wait for a week for it to get here. It came with superb packaging and the sound bar felt very solid. Everything was great until I started to listen to it. Before I go into details, here is a little background on my setup and why I was looking into the Arc. I was looking for a simple and clean wall mounted sound bar to replace my existing bookshelf speakers + receiver + TV stand. This way, I can have only the TV ( LG 65 C9) and the sound bar on the wall for a clean look. I was going to buy the LG SN10YG, but decided to go with Sonos Arc due to the modern design. After calibrating with Trueplay, I watched a few movies with Dolby Atmos and listened to a few songs. The highs are too harsh, the mid is a somewhat weak, and the bass is reasonable without the sub. I couldn’t tell the sound was coming from above or around me which shows the lack of immersive experience. The Sonos Arc doesn’t have the ability to adjust full EQ, it only has bass and treble. Full EQ would have been helpful to adjust the sound to my liking. During this time of the review, Apple TV + HomePod started to support Dolby Atmos. I compared the two systems side by side, I will just stick with Apple for now until I find the right sound bar) Overall, here are my scores for Sonos Arc Movies 6.5/10 (feels like a 3.0 system, lack of immersion) Music 4/10 (very harsh for music, treble is high even after tuning) Design 9/10 (modern looking and has it in white) Quality 10/10 (solid, feels nice) Connectivity 7/10 (Airplay, eARC, but no Bluetooth or remote )

Hi, and thank you very much for taking the time to review Arc! We're very sorry you didn't have an outstanding experience that is expected of Arc and of Sonos. If you were watching a movie that supports Atmos, you should have indeed been able to tell the separation and the height channels. It even has dedicated surrounds so you should have hear surround sounds behind you. We would ask to check to make sure you content was in atmos as much streaming content is not in atmos even though the newest apple tv and Tv's with eARC support it.

We appreciate the detailed feedback and will take it into consideration! Good luck finding the right soundbar! john.milton

I bought this sound-bar in conjunction with the LGCX65 and let me tell you that I don’t think I could be any more impressed. Any situation, at any volume is just concert quality sound. Ability to sync with my Apple Music library is a very nice feature as is the room tuning with the App. (Don’t forget to do this, it literally tunes the system to your room and I was able to notice the difference immediately.). Set up is extremely easy also, I was up and running in about ten minutes. Seamlessly integrated with my TV and Cable box remotes. Not an entry level product at an $800 price point, but this is absolutely a premium product that delivers premium sound. I can’t imagine anyone possibly being disappointed after hearing it.

Awesome sound bar. PLEASE NOTE that in order to get optimal sound for your review, you must be providing the SB (Sound Bar) the proper content/coding for it to dlvr what you are expecting. This SB will not replace a proper wired amp and surround system, but if you want a clean, finished, polished, and wireless look. This is the way to go. It has awesome sound, it is loud, it provided an artificial surround. It you match it w/ the Sonos Sub Gen 3, and w/ either the One SL or Sonos Fives, you will not be disappointed.

I actually bought the samsung q990c hoping to save some money. It lasted 30 minutes before it was boxed up and returned. The arc with 2 era 300s for surrounds is clear, articulate, dynamic and easy to use. If it helps, i also have a marantz, martin logan motion 40 and 50, 5.1.2 system. The sonos in no way matches it, but for ease of use and family friendly decor, the sonos system has taken over my living room and my other system is moving to the loft.
