This thing is BIG! Super easy to use and setup through the app. It sounds really good. However, it comes to life when it's paired up with the Sonos sub. If you're not going to add a subwoofer to it, there's more affordable options for getting better sound than the standard speakers your flat screen comes with. I did eventually get the Sonos sub and they compliment each other well.

I was shopping for a soundbar with Dolby Atmos because my LG CX internal speakers are of very poor quality. Came upon this soundbar, preordered right away and now I finally have it on release day. It is simple to set up with the app, and it is a major upgrade from any internal speakers of a TV. The price is a little on the premium side, but not nearly as steep as for example a Sennheiser AMBEO. It is perfect for someone who doesn't want to mess with the world of enthusiast multi-speaker home theater, and instead just wants a great standalone soundbar that can do it all. The soundbar doubles as a smart speaker and has voice control built-in if you care for it. It does support eARC and Dolby Atmos in terms of the latest technologies. A great $800 to spend to up the game if you are unsatisfied with your TV speakers.

Picking up the Arc from Sonos was a great choice. I upgraded from the original Sonos soundbar and boy, what a difference with the added speakers in the Arc and Dolby Atmos capability. Definitely a must for anyone who wants to feel the sounds from their music or tv watching.

Took me a while to save up for this but boiiiii am I happy with the results. Playing movies and games really take my setup to the next level. The bass it delivers is exactly what I wanted and the quality of sound that comes out is truly amazing. TLDR: Great sound / Great performance / Great Bass

Ok so before the arc I had a Bose 700 w/sub & let me tell you way out preforms the Bose 700. One thing I was concerned out was clearly hearing dialogue as the Bose handles this perfectly, well the ARC does & more. Unit is very easy to setup & get going. Also I have this paired with the sub.

Wow, I paired this with my 65 inch Samsung flatscreen and coming from Samsung sound bars this thing made a world of difference. The sound and clarity is amazing. I’ve had no issues. I’ve had it almost 4 weeks. I also have the subwoofer paired to it. Installation was pretty simple. Downloaded the app and in about 30 minutes everything was up and going.

The ARC came in last to complete my setup with the sub gen 3 and 2 One SL's for surrounds. I had none of the issues I saw on the Sonos forums/reddit regarding bass distortion. Again though I have a stand alone sub so that likely helped. But for me the sound was excellent and I have zero complaints. The sound stage up front is a noticeable upgrade and with the One's for surround and the base you'll truly have a full theater setup. I think for some they need to 1) have realistic expectations as to what Atmos sounds like (even with actual ceiling speakers vs. the bouncing setup) and that 2) your room setup will have a lot of impact on the sound. I have this setup in a large master bedroom which is rather squared minus the open retreat to the side. I almost want to try it downstairs in our open living room to see how it holds up. Note that I have a full Atmos discreet setup with a receiver in another room. I didn't expect much from the Sonos setup but will said it can give my main setup a run for it's money.

I do a lot of research when Im going to spend $800 on a sound-bar. I bought two of them. They sound incredible. I purchased the ARCs for the ATMOS technology. One of them I hooked up to my 2019 Samsung TV. The other to my 2020 LG. Because my LG has an eARC there is a lot more available on Netflix and Disney + that comes through via ATMOS. There is no Samsung TV that is ATMOS compatible. It's Dolby Digital + compatible but even then, it's very rare that you'll get more than a 5.1 dolby digital sound via Netflix or Disney +. On my Samsung TV, when I rent a movie on VUDU it will come through via ATMOS. But on Netflix, Disney + or any other app, everything comes through in 5.1 dolly digital. On my LG TV I can stream those same movies on Netflix or Disney + and they come through via ATMOS. If you're buying the ARC for ATMOS technology you will be far more limited if you're streaming Netflix and Disney + through a TV without e-ARC. Either way, its a very nice sounding sound-bar.

Easy to setup, high quality sound, works well with Xbox Series X. Even better when you pair with other Sonos gear, I’ve managed to get Dolby Atmos configured and it’s made playing video games or watching movies really fun.

I had the second generation Sonos Beam and even though I thought that sound bar was amazing, I decided to splurge and get this bad boy. It changes everything when watching movies and playing video games!!! I have the latest gen Sonos subwoofer and a pair of next generation Sonos Ones to complete the sound stage and it’s an incredible listening experience every single time! Wife hates it, but that’s why she stays in the other part of the house. Besides, I can’t hear her complaining when this Sonos set-up is on and that is peace of mind…….

This has changed everything for me. I was having to use closed captions on my TV on my brand new Sony Bravia TV, because I couldn’t hear what people were saying, and I would turn up the volume and then all of a sudden there would be like a loud, shooting scene or a loud you know, explosions, and be so loud that I have to turn it down turn it down turn it down soon as I got the sound bar it immediately helps me be able to hear people talking precisely I do not know longer need the close captions. It’s amazing ever helicopter goes past. You can hear it going from your left side all the way to your right side. This sound bar is absolutely a game changer in the sound bar game.

With two OneSL speakers added for surround it it amazing. Personally I think the bass is very well balanced and there is plenty there for TV. I go back and forth on whether to buy the bass unit or not. The sound bar alone is very nice but for the Atmos, get the surrounds as well!! So good.

Amazing quality. Solid while watching TV. Better than I have ever had. BUT…..if you really want to experience something let it stretch its legs. I have the bar, 2 300 speakers and the large sub. IT IS AMAZING. Crisp, powerful and exceptional. With the added bonus of not having to cut any holes in the ceiling or run that obnoxious speaker wire.

I have to say, this was part of my first Sonos purchase. Im an audio guy at heart and it was a hard choice to ditch my wires for wireless. But this system pumps! Quality sounds on all frequencies. Its a bit pricey, but if you enjoy quality audio for tv/movies/games/music, then this will not disappoint! Sonos makes linking the Sub and Era speakers speakers a breeze, as well.

This soundbar is more expensive but it puts out superior sound compared to other soundbars with wireless subwoofers that we own. We have it in a fairly large room and it can fill the room with sound. The sound clarity is superior as well. If you are looking for performance and willing to pay for it, would definitely recommend this one

After owning for a month or so, I am still very happy with the purchase and would probably buy again. I bought the soundbar alone at first to see how it sounded in the room without a sub. I was somewhat disappointed initially as it sounded quite thin, but I pretty much expected this would be the case as the room is large with a high ceiling. I also probably over-hyped myself as to what it would sound like. After all it is a soundbar and one should expect a bit of form over function in that regard. That being said, it does sound very nice. One of the first things I noticed is how clear and "wide" the voices were on the TV, which was always an issue with my last soundbar. My dogs were doing the confused head tilt for the first week as it really sounds like voices are coming from different areas of the room. I'm not much of a movie watcher but the Atmos functionality sounds pretty cool I guess. Everything sounds clear, music sounds great on it and I appreciate the night mode function in the app. I sort of wish there were more preset EQ settings but not a big deal. Once I added the sub I was extremely impressed. I plan to eventually get two satellites but haven't really felt like they were necessary so far. Probably my major disappointment is there is no way to do the room calibration without an apple device. Come on, for this price figure out something else - sell a standalone mic, certify the newest/most popular android devices or something. That seems like a huge piece of functionality to miss out on. For that I lowered my ease of use score, but it would be an easy 5 points there otherwise. I also don't love that I have to use the Sonos app to listen to something like Amazon Music but I can deal. The price could use to be about $100 less imo to feel like a great value.
