Arc sounds great and was easy to setup just like all Sonos products. I used the latest HDMI cord, hdmi 3.1, although most hdmi wires will work fine, and connected it to my hdmi Arc on my Samsung TV. Although not Atmos compatible, the tv settings will push through a modified atmos signal that still sounds amazing. There is no audio delay like my playbar which was installed using an optical cable. Go HDMI for proper audio signal. Otherwise it was a nice upgrade from playbar and even has rich sounding lows which surprised me. It’s pricey but the packaging was fancy and the build quality is just perfect. Looks great under my tv.

Replaced an old LG system with the Sonos Arc and 2 Play:1's that we had. The packaging is top-notch, and the feel of the Arc is pure quality. I'm a sucker for good design, and I coupled this with the Arc wall mount to get an outstanding looking and sounding system. In my small living room (16x10) this is perfect. I'm debating adding the sub, but I'm sure that will round out the system and add the super lows I'm missing. The sound quality of movies and music is superb. Since then we've added a Move, and additional Sonos One's in other rooms. If you're looking for an easy setup with spectacular sound, this is the way to go. This is the first system to rival my old wired Klipsch system.

I was a bit skeptical of how good a soundbar could sound compared to a true home theater system. I was a bit of a snob about it for years, but I finally relented after realizing I wanted to just simplify my speaker setup and make it as easy as possible for my wife and house guests to use. With that as my goal, Sonos was the answer. Upon setting this up, I was extremely impressed with the sound quality, ease of use, and the fact that it actually made me hear sound effects to the sides and above me when watching Atmos content. This thing rules!

Upgraded from a Samsung Q90r sound bar and was worried it was a potential downgrade as this is a 5.1 when the Samsung is a 7.1 but I paired my arc with a gen 3 sub and two Sonos fives as my rears and holy cow I’m absolutely blown away! Samsung who? The sound that these components put out bare absolutely incredible. The amount of bass. 10/10 would recommend. The ease of setting up everything in the app is insanely simple and fast. This is an incredible system and can’t wait for future products as I can confidently say I’ll be a Sonos guy for life.

Probably the best all around sound bar out there right now. The designed is beautiful and modern. Only dig is that it sits a little higher than I'd like as it's blocking about an inch or so of the bottom of my LG C2. The soundstage on this thing is incredible. I can feel how immersive my music was when I turned this thing on. It's not like a typical speaker where you hear sound coming straight at you. It feels like you are enveloped right in the center with sound coming all around you. I then paired the One SL's to create a surround experience and it just made everything better. Now when watching a movie, you can hear sounds coming from behind you and it's even better than being in the theatre when paired with the Sub Gen 3's. This created an environment I've never experienced at home before. Sound was coming off really clear and crisp from the Arc. The 2 One SL's created a fantastic surround experience and the Sub really hit that low end nicely. Not distortion whatsoever. Great thing about this system is that you can build on it over time if you don't have the funds to purchase the set all at once. The Arc itself sounded great and had a good amount of base. Musically, the Arc is all you need to enjoy a real immersive sound. But for movies, I would recommend getting the SL's and Sub.

Sonos Beam (Gen 2) is a great soundbar for those who want to improve their home theater experience without breaking the bank. It supports Dolby Atmos, which creates a more immersive sound experience, and it has a built-in subwoofer that provides plenty of bass. I was very happy with the sound quality, especially when watching movies in Dolby Atmos. Here are some pros and cons of Sonos Beam (Gen 2) based on my experience: Pros: Great sound quality, especially for its size Supports Dolby Atmos Built-in subwoofer Easy to set up and use Looks great Cons: Not as powerful as some other soundbars on the market The soundbar height can block some of the tv viewing area if not properly positioned A bit pricey Overall, I would highly recommend Sonos Beam (Gen 2) to anyone looking for a great soundbar that won't break the bank. It's a great way to improve your home theater experience, and it looks great too.

We have been waiting to get a home theater system for a while now and I’m glad I picked up this one. I’ve done lots of research and I like how the white color matches our decor. You won’t find too many white sound bars out there. The sound quality is top notch as I tested it with a variety of audio/video sources. The atmos is very convincing even though it uses a bounce off the wall technique. It really sounds like things are coming from above. The sub and surround speakers add to the experience. Set up is wireless and easy to do.

The sound quality of this soundbar is absolutely amazing. Recommend for TVs 55 inches and up. The set up is super easy and straightforward. The packaging alone that it comes in let's you know you're getting a premium quality item. I just love how this sounds. The bass is very punchy even without the subwoofer that's sold separately.

The Sonos Arc is by far the best sound bar and can rival even the best full surround sound system. It packs a punch with deep bass for not having a subwoofer. Has excellent features like dialogue enhancement and night mode to turn down sudden sounds that very loud. However, the downfall of this product is the setup/mandatory Sonos app. I spent a couple of hours trying to get this setup out of the box via app because the app fails to recognize your device. I did troubleshooting to resetting modem, router, the speak the whole nine yards. What I found out is that you literally need to unplug the modem and router from the wall socket. It is the stupidest thing ever but it works. The speaker has amazing sound quality that you just wouldn't believe until you purchase. I would not recommend the Arc for lower end 4kTV's this sound bar needs a Sony x85+ or LG CX/C1 to truly get the most out of it. Samsung QLED tvs may, I've just read that the HDMI arc port didn't function as well. Additionally, you can purchase Sonos "bookshelf" speakers and a subwoofer that will sync to your sound bar for full Dolby Atmos system. I purchased 2 Sonos SL speakers and have them synced and you can literally hear people whispering, bullets flying, explosions, etc from them. Just amazing. But Sonos, FIX YOUR APP!!!

Sorry for your rough experience setting it up! It should only take about 5 minutes! Sometimes different router/modem settings (especially once rented from service providers) can cause some kinks that are out of our control. We're glad you got it set up. This is one of the best sound bars at this price point. The ease of use, simplicity of setup and the sound quality - it is unmatched. The Sonos system lets you expand your system over time - this is probably the best starting point, if you can afford to save up and if your budget can accommodate it.

An excellent, high quality soundbar that shakes the house. The Dolby Atmos is very impressive and that fact that it doubles as a speaker built for music as well is nice. I bought the subwoofer and the extra bass really makes it a complete package for rich, immersive sound.

Love our new Sonos system, Went looking, wasn’t sure what we wanted, sales people were very helpful. Originally wanted the black, not in stock til November. Salesperson convinced us to get the white for now, see how we like it, can always swap for black come the time. Needless to say the white looks great in our open concept living area. Easy set up and enjoying!

I had the second generation Sonos Beam and even though I thought that sound bar was amazing, I decided to splurge and get this bad boy. It changes everything when watching movies and playing video games!!! I have the latest gen Sonos subwoofer and a pair of next generation Sonos Ones to complete the sound stage and it’s an incredible listening experience every single time! Wife hates it, but that’s why she stays in the other part of the house. Besides, I can’t hear her complaining when this Sonos set-up is on and that is peace of mind…….

Am I sure it's worth the price? No, I'm not sure. But, It was easy to setup, not a lot of wires, and it looks cool. Bigger than I thought though. I would say that sonos can do a lot with wireless speaker stuff, but I kind of feel with google assistant or/and amazon echo it seems like the sonos tools aren't as useful. The auto tuning app thing, I think "Trueplay", worked pretty good. It did make a difference. I did feel a little silly waving my ipad around the room. I went from a crappy $150 soundbar to this and from 20' away across the room, voice is clear and easy to hear. For my old soundbar I would need to raise the volume high and still read the subtitles. The sound is crisp and I don't have to keep switching between modes I don't understand. So, I can't say that I can compare to other good soundbars because mine was not good, but it has made a huge difference for me.
