I picked up my sound bar this morning and got it home and hooked it up and all i could do is sit with my mouth opened while this sound bar proformed.. The bass was crazy from just a sound bar, the clarity was A1. I can see people getting just the sound bar and be really happy bass heads like me went all in with 2 subs and a pair of 300's im just as loud as studio movie grill..

I guess it depends on what you expect out of this Soundbar. I purchased the Arc Ultra for a couple of reasons. One, it is a highly rated soundbar and two, it is Sonos. I have five Sonos speakers already. It is pricy, nearly $2,000 for the soundbar plus sub. The Soundbar connected to my TV quickly via HDMI. BUT you can't operate the soundbar from the app. I specifically picked this soundbar so I could listen to music on the soundbar from my Sonos App. You can't. I also purchased the Sub-4 to go with the soundbar. I got it connected (using the Sonos app), but about an hour later, it disconnected itself and I couldn't get it connected again. I spent over 2 hours on the phone with customer service and they couldn't get it working either. So I returned the Arc Ultra and Sub-4 and bought a different brand.

Great sound bar we are older and have a hard time hearing dialogue this has helped greatly. Might not be as good as a sound system but I don't think you can find a better sounding sound bar. The only negative would be the cost.

The new Arc Ultra is a wonderful upgrade from my Arc, allowing my Sonos whole-house system to expand and evolve beautifully over the last 10 years.

I don't know what the lower Sonos Arc sounds like compared to this one, but this sound bar is superior and can handle the entire room by itself, but I opted for adding 2 of the Arc 300, and subwoofer for sound balancing. They all sound great and it doesn't have to be so glaring loud to please the audience. Very highly recommended.

Outstanding sound quality for value ! very easy to set up

Sonos Arc Ultra. The Arc Ultra is definitely worth the upgrade from previous Gen Arc. I purchased Sonos Era 300 pair for surround sound. These speakers drowned out the Arc. Since adding Arc Ultra I now get to fully enjoy Smothness and Balance of my Arc system. The new Sound Motion Technology built into the New Arc is what really sets this device apart from previous Gen. The base and treble is very balanced now. You can definitely tell the difference if you’re on the fence about upgrading.

I resisted upgrading my 90s sound system for years. Purchasing a Sonos system was a revelation. I could not have guessed how great this product is. Adding components and managing them is very easy. Expensive? Sure. But worth every dollar.

This sound bar, along with the rears and subs, replaced an entire wired component system. Not only did it save tons of space, but it sounds so much better.

I was always a Bose user but after I was in the store and heard the Sonos sound bar, I was instantly sold on the excellent sound quality.

I have tried a number of sound bars. I’m in a small room that really doesn’t have room for a subwoofer and back speakers. I decided to finally settle on the Sonos ultra because the sound is just incredible. It has so many different speakers that’s fire in so many different directions that fills the room with such incredible beautiful sound. I’d recommend it to anybody.

The best product I ever had in a home theater. The sound is amazing. Probably won't ever go to any other brand from now on...
