Do you need to hear the voices on the TV clearly. Then this is the product for you it is compact has a bright sound and is easy to set up. And if later on you need bigger sound or more speakers it’s wireless so all you have to do is pick up additional products. I was able to set up the app on my phone and hook up the speaker and do the soundcheck in just a few minutes very easy to set up.

Coming from a gen 1 beam I like the new look of the grille versus the fabric on the old model, looks more like the Arc. Sound is slightly improved and now works with atmos which is great, my only complaint is that they raised the price $50, still worth the money for sure and works with surrounds and the sub if you need more volume and bass.

After a year of deliberation, I finally took the plunge and purchased the SONOS soundbar, and let me tell you, it’s been a game-changer. The sound quality is absolutely mind-blowing, delivering an immersive experience that rivals a movie theater. Setting it up was a breeze, and the ability to fine-tune it based on the room’s layout is a huge plus. And don’t even get me started on the Dolby sound effect for streaming services like Netflix – it’s like having a cinema right in my living room! I’m already planning to expand my setup with a couple of Era speakers to take the immersion to the next level. Trust me, this is an investment you won’t regret. The sound bar set up was very simple and quick. I like that it connects to the other Sonos speakers in the house when listening to music and podcasts. The sound is great and improves listening dramatically while watching the television.

Sonos is the best! The Beam is a fantastic soundbar for small to medium rooms. It is crystal clear and is easy to use and connect to other Sonos speakers. I have this connected to the mini sub and 2 Eros 100 speakers.

I bought this Beam to replace an old Blu-Ray/Home Theatre-in-a-box setup I had in my bedroom and was immediately impressed with the sound quality that this unit produced in such a small size but was bummed about the lack of bass. Turned out that I needed to upgrade my TV to a unit with eARC to get the most out of it as it can then process Dolby signals versus PCM-only signals that my old TV pushed through its ARC output. This unit does a great job in my bedroom all by itself and integrates well into my whole home Sonos setup, where we can listen to the same music all over the house. *Bonus* I use the Calm app for sleep sounds and the Sonos app integrates Calm in the UI so you can play the sounds through the speaker system, producing a much better experience than the little, tiny phone speakers can produce.

I hooked the Beam up to my Sony TV and disconnected my receiver and all my in-wall speakers. The sound is great. At reasonable volumes it fills the room with clear and robust sound. I may add a wire-less subwoofer

I absolutely love the sound quality of the sonos beam, it gives me that rich balanced sound that i was looking for, i use mine in my bedroom and it makes watching movies there great. Setting it up took a little time but after it was done, it was great.

This soundbar is game changing! The Dolby Atmos is great, and if you use a iPhone you get some added benefits when using the app. Works great as both a bedroom soundbar or a living room soundbar, and adding rears or a sub is very easy if you choose to.

This is the best purchase I’ve had in a while. I already had the subwoofer and rear speakers and this completes my home theater. Great sound and it was on sale

Sound is very comparable to a Bose sound system. My only gripe is the volume goes down to nothing when you pause a show for 10-15 minutes.

This BEAM GEN2 sound bar is small with a great sound. I had recently purchased the ARC and went back to the BEAM GEN2 since I was very impressed with the performance compared to the ARC for the fraction of the price. I’m planning on purchasing another unit for the basement as well.

Its only been less than a month, but it sounds incredible. People say that the only downside is that you can't connect via Bluetooth. The workaround is to mirror your device to the tv its connected to, and voila, your music from your device to the soundbar. Dolby Atmos works great, sounds like a true surround sound system without extra speakers. But more speakers probably amplifies the effect.

Sounds decent for bedrooms or a patio area. For sure needs to be bought with to play with a sonos sub or ceiling speakers to spread bass and treble in my opinion. Other then that yes a good quality sound bar
