Customers are saying

Customers value the Beam (Gen 2) 5.0 Channel Smart Soundbar with Dolby Atmos for its unmatched sound quality, ease of use, and simple setup. The soundbar's compact size, impressive bass, and Dolby Atmos capabilities are also appreciated. However, some customers have reported occasional connectivity issues, and a few find the soundbar to be somewhat expensive and would prefer it to include a physical remote.

Definitely a really good starter sound bar to go for, was an easy setup, quick and streamline, packs a punch for a very small bar, pair it with a sub mini and you got a really good setup, by itself it has very good bass for what it is, I’d recommend on it’s and paired with a sub

Enhances my overall home theatre and AirPlay system setup plus gives me access to my Sonos-connected streaming services. Plus it is the perfect size for what I need. Easy to connect, too. Big sound! Glad I got it.

So excellent. Design, home theater integration, quality, compact, perfect. Twelve year home Sonos user and this addition doesn't disappoint. Replaced Sony soundbar in the bedroom with Sonos Beam.

Better than the movie theatre. Fit perfectly on a tv stand shelf - out of sight and well Within ear shot.

The 2 Guys who came to our home to install our 75” Samsung TV AND SONOS SOUND BAR were VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE and professional and helpful and explained how to use them for the best performance. Kudos them both. Thanks!!

Sonos is a excellent product it is half the size of competitors but has deep rich sound. You can add your other music apps so it plays all, Alex, Apple, and Pandora plus y can add other Sonos speakers and have a total rich surround sound.

Compared the beam 2 to the Arc in the store, with and without sub. As I wanted this for music as well as TV, I felt the Beam actually sounded better than the Arc for music, and still pretty good for TV. Have since added a Sub and IKEA Symfonisk as surrounds, and the overall system is fantastic. Unobtrusive, really good definition and easy to listen to. Always thought of Sonos as being over priced and more about the multi room and streaming services. But this is a really high performing audio system and great value compared to >$1000 systems.

    Best wifi speaker system

The quality of this speaker is great. Vast improvement over my TVs built in speakers. Dialogue is clearer and overall sound balance. It's best for smaller rooms or for someone who doesn't demand a expensive surround sound setup. But additional Sonos speakers and sub woofer can be added in the future to achieve an immersive surround sound 5.1 system. Things of note: •You will need a smart device to download the app to setup and update your Sonos device. •No remote to control volume, it will either need to be done through the Sonos app, or if your TV remote supports it, it would need to be programmed to control your soundbar, or through ARC hdmi port through your TV.

Great sound and decent bass without the bass module. Haven't had a chance to try Dolby Atmos as yet. The soundbar design is just right for setting in front of the TV. I would have liked it if it had one more HDMI input. Definitely like the fact that I can connect it to Alexa!

    One Small Complaint

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my parents a year ago. They have loved it and I have noticed that it sounds great when I'm at their house as well. The only complaint that I have is that when you turn off the TV and the sound bar powers down, it will start on mute when you turn the TV back on. You always have to turn up the volume instead of resuming where you left off after the power was turned off. That's the only complaint thus far. It's an expensive item. Put it on your watch list and wait until it goes on sale.

Very nice sound in a compact package for gaming, cable, and streaming. Using the app to fine tune the bar’s output for the space makes a noticeable improvement, though the sound really is quite good out of the box. I hadn’t wanted to spend so much on a soundbar, since I really hadn’t wanted a soundbar at all, but my TV’s down firing speakers are terrible, and cheaper compact soundbars didn’t work for my space. I am very happy that the Beam gives me reasonably well balanced sound in a single unit that’s roughly 2’ long. I’m not a fan of the lack of remote, since there are times I don’t want to use voice control, and having to unlock my mobile device to get to the controls in the app is inconvenient at best. I’d also prefer to have a visual numeric value assigned to the volume (there isn’t one). It helps me quickly get to the volume level I want for specific circumstances.

I am so happy with this purchase! I recently downsized my house and was looking for something to replace my previous setup at a much larger home. Sound quality is great and it was a breeze to setup, and great value for the price

The sound is great, but my experience wasn't as seamless as I hoped. It worked well in the first few hours but then it started glitching. Sometimes there is no sound, sometimes there is, etc. Stereo pair of two Homepod Minis although do not provide the same bass, they do provide what I care about - great dialogs, good sound stage, and seamless integration with my Apple TV 4K. And much cheaper

This soundbar produces excellent sound quality and power for its size. Combining this soundbar with a pair of Sonos Era 100 speakers, you get a truly amazing surround sound experience. I would highly recommend that setup to anyone with a larger room or even a smaller apartment who wants a robust and high-quality sound experience.

    Perfect integration with Sony Bravia

Works perfectly with my Sony Bravia X90L. Just barely fits under the TV with the factory legs in the "high" position, but that's enough. Sound is great to my ears. The voice boost and whatever other sound enhancement features they have seem to do their job well. If you want something that sounds like a $1000 soundbar this probably isn't it, but I think it's a great value at its price point. Deducting one star because the touch controls on the top are gimmicky; they don't provide any feedback and there's no physical bumps or anything to tell you you're in the right place. Plus, because they react to "swipe" gestures it's easy to activate them by accident if you touch the top of the device. That said, I don't go near it very often so that's not a big deal.

Speaker works well and is very easy to set up within the Sonos app. Like all Sonos products, the sound is excellent and this speaker allows me to play the sound from the TV it is connected to over the rest of the Sonos speakers installed in my house.
