Where do I even begin… this soundbar overdelivers in a small frame! I was a bit skeptical about the sound quality given its size, but wow — I was in for a big surprise. This thing sounds incredibly impactful, full, and elevated compared to others in the same segment. I picked this up because my OLED TV had terrible built-in audio, and dialogue was hard to distinguish. Once I connected this Sonos, everything changed. Dialogue is now clear and crisp, and here’s the best part: the Beam packs a punch with lower frequencies I wasn’t expecting at all. If you’re looking for a soundbar and are limited on space, look no further. This Beam has it all — dialogue enhancement, deep bass, and a room-filling soundstage. Plus, you can always pair it with a Sonos Sub down the line, which makes it an even bigger win.

Awesome sound bar for an apartment space and studio room, has clear sound quality. Without the woofer it has a great kick in base. Really recommend it. Only drawback is no Bluetooth option.

Great quality speaker. One thing to keep in mind, NO BLUETOOTH connection available. Connects through your network and airplay. If you don’t mind that, it’s very good overall. Anyone connected to your network can easily connect and use it.

A big improvement specially compared to TV speakers or older siundbars, it's great for medium room size with surround and no need for a separate subwoofer. A great feature with Sonos Trueplay makes a day and night difference once performed.

    Soundbar Upgrade

Just switched from the LG SN6Y to the Sonos Beam Gen 2 and I’m honestly blown away. Voices are so much clearer, the surround sound effect feels more immersive even without rear speakers, and setup through the Sonos app was super easy. The soundstage feels wider, and the bass is surprisingly strong for such a compact bar. Plus, the design looks way sleeker in my apartment. Definitely worth the upgrade!

I have been an avid bose fan for 25 years and unfortunately the quailtiy that bose is known for is no longer there. When it worked, it was awesome. But every time u turned off the tv it lost connection and had to be set up again on a daily basis. Well, took thay back and bought sonos. I must say the connection process is a breeze and it hasnt lost connection one time. But to me, the bose still sounds better and louder. Which is very important when using outside. Just unfortunately will not stay connected but the fact that sonos was so simple to set up and does sound amazing for movies just lacks when playing music, i will definitely be keeping. Just think it was somewhat over priced for the sound quailty.

    Sonos Beam

I picked up the Sonos Beam along with two Era 100s and the Sub Mini for my bedroom, and this setup is absolutely perfect for the space. Just like my other Sonos gear, the packaging is sleek and well-designed, and the setup was quick and easy through the Sonos app. Everything connected without any hassle. The sound quality is incredible for a bedroom—the Beam delivers clear dialogue and rich detail, while the Era 100s create a great surround effect. The Sub Mini adds surprisingly powerful, clean bass that fills the room without being too much. Whether I’m watching TV, movies, or listening to music, this system makes everything sound better. Sonos really nailed it with this combo, and I couldn’t be happier with how it performs in a bedroom setup.

Sonos Beam (Gen 2) is the perfect Soundbar!

I bought this Sonos Beam (Gen 2) t replace my aging Definitive Technology Solocinema Soundbar, and I have to say that I am very happy with my decision. The spatial distribution and ability to discern subtle sonic nuances with the Beam is outstanding! We are temporarily renting a townhome, so I can't go too loud using this. As soon as as we move to our permanent home next year, I am adding the Era 100 Sonos surrounds and the Sub mini to my living room set up - can't wait!

The soundbar sounds great and looks really nice. The base does lack a little bit of a punch but the sounds clarity is top notch. My only issue was the connectivity, as the sounds sometimes drops all of a sudden. Since the connection is over wi-fi, perhaps that might be a wi-fi issue at home. But overall a definite recommend.

You are in the store trying to decide which system to spend good money on, the best bang for the buck. Sorry, this isn't that type of set up. So what is good about the Sonos beam Gen 2 with the Mini-sub and 2 Sonos One SLs. 1. Easy to set-up 2. Crisp clean sounds 3. Flawless connection to the TV, no checking for input settings. 4. Sub-Mini has no rattle and the bass is unique, Very rich but not boomie. 5. The app makes it great to control and operate. 6. Great build quality, You get what you pay for. 7. Wide and dynamic sound ( soundstage) 8. Zero distortion even when the volume is at max What is bad about the system. 1. Loud but not loud enough when you step away from the area. 2. Atmos is not really present 3. Expensive system when you put it all together. 4. its not going to shake the house for the price you pay. 5. The Beam by itself is only good for a small area, Do not buy if it is going in a open concept space.

I am absolutely blown away by the Sonos Beam! The audio quality is exceptional. It truly brings movies, music, and TV shows to life. The design is sleek and elegant, blending seamlessly with my home decor. Setup was a breeze using the Sonos app, and the Truplay Tuning feature brings the listening experience to a whole new level. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. This is a true gem for any audio enthusiast or home entertainment lover!

I've had the Sonos Beam 2.0 & Mini Sub for 2 months now. Bought it during the Christmas sales. I wanted a small footprint & got awesome sound for my Sony OLED TV. Dialog from tv is very clear. Watching 4K Ultra HD bluray action packed movies with Dolby Atmos is great! Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because no Bluetooth connectivity to play my mp3 files. Hoping in 2026 maybe Sonos will release a Beam 3.0 with Bluetooth. I know the Arc Ultra has Bluetooth but I tested that soundbar but didn't care for the way it sounded so I returned it. It's made for larger rooms which the room I have is small/medium size.

I love my Beam 2! I originally purchased it for voice clarity because my hubby like to turn the volume WAY UP when we watch TV. It made a big difference in the volume he required and the bonus is that I have the app on my phone and if he turns the TV up too loud for me, I can tap it down to a reasonable level while staying under the radar. Of course this was the first step on starting to put a Sonos system together! Once I saw how nice music sounded on the Beam, I added a mini sub and then a couple of Era 100s for a nice surround system. I’m already planning to add a few more pieces to push music around the house. I wish it were a bit let pricey, but I love it. Another plus is that is easy to set up and configure.

I recently upgraded to the Sonos Beam (Gen 2) - Black, and it's been a fantastic addition to my home entertainment system. Here are some of the highlights: Sound Quality: The audio is crystal clear, with rich bass and excellent mids and highs. It's perfect for movies, music, and even gaming. Compact Design: The sleek, compact design fits perfectly in front of my TV without blocking the screen. It blends in seamlessly with my home decor. Easy Setup: Setting up the Beam was a breeze. The Sonos app guided me through the process, and I had it up and running in no time. Smart Features: I love the built-in voice control with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It's incredibly convenient to control the TV and other smart home devices with just my voice. Expandable: The Beam integrates effortlessly with other Sonos speakers. I've added a couple of Sonos Ones for a full surround sound experience, and the system works flawlessly. Overall, the Sonos Beam (Gen 2) delivers on all fronts – sound quality, design, and smart features. It's a great investment for anyone looking to enhance their home audio experience. Highly recommended!

Nice simple upgrade to your regular TV speakers. Not the cheapest option but it gets you in the ecosystem at a reasonable price point. Plus it works pretty well. HAs some good options and a an easy to use app. Easy to connect different devices and the voice commands work too. Instead of yelling at the kids to find the remote and turn the TV down and I can yell at Sonos instead. Easy set up. No issues.
