Purchased this for my 42 inch LCD Roku TV, which had poor sound for voices / speaking. This was easy to set up and the sound is great. Voices are much clearer and I don't have to turn the TV to a high level, just to hear the dialogue correctly. Also sounds great with music. I have this in a medium size bedroom. If you have a very large family room or home theater, this may not have enough power, but certainly give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

The difference in sound quality is mind boggling. No need to use close captioning any more.

Bought this for our bedroom. Paired it with a 55” Sony Bravia OLED. Setup was easy and their app is amazing. I really love the way you can buy the sound bar and then add other components afterwards without having to purchase everything at one time. Sound is awesome and ability to link it to other Sonos sound bars in my house is also a great feature. Can’t wait to upgrade to an Sonos Arc sound bar in my living room.

I have never had a soundbar before. I bought a new TV. My first TV purchase in 10 years. I have never cared for a fancy TV till I saw the OLEDs. I just love their picture. However, it then seemed silly to not have good soundbar for the TV. You can only have so much sound from a TV. I read about sound bars but nothing replaces going to the store and listening. I was going to buy LG or some 3 channel sound bar. Well I left with the Sonos Beam instead. I certainly paid more than I thought but the sound was amazing for the size. If you love a strong bass then maybe not for you. It is plenty for me. I loved the Arc a bit more but it is also quite a bit more and with Sonos you are going with a system. You can add on to it quite easily and link the sound system throughout your house. You can easily Airdrop and sync everything. I did not think I would care about it until I could do this. It does not have Atmos but it sends sound up still (not as well as the Arc but decent). The App works great and you use it to calibrate your room to your beam. This helps improve sound quality. I know because I forgot to do this first day. If you love an overpowering bass this is not for you. You can add one of their speakers that does this (not a cheap speaker). The Arc also has the bass. The sound is really quite wonderful for its low profile. I am happy with this purchase (even if I spent more than I intended) and will add more speakers in future as it is so easy to connect up and actually find their system to be nice bonus to listening room to room.

Amazingly large sound from a compact bar. This things rocks. I have a Sonos arc and this is the arc in a smaller package. Wide wonderful sound stage clear and crisp dialogue. Even produce god bass without a sub, but when you add a sub this thing comes to life. Loud enough to fill a good size room. Competes with much higher and mote expensive sound bars for sure. Sonos works magic.

Great soundbar and the best value in the Sonos lineup. I have a lot of Sonos products, but they cost a premium. You are paying for the app and the ecosystem, which the Beam fits into well. If you want the Beam for your main movie watching tv, you may want to add the subwoofer or wait for the expected smaller subwoofer, which is rumored to be coming out this year. On it's own, the Beam has decent bass, but doesn't compare to having the sub, which is a great sub. The Gen 2 is a step up in design and sound. It replaces the fabric grill, with a metal mesh, which is easy to clean. The Gen 1 fabric collects a lot of dust.

Have owned the Sonos Beam for a couple months now and I never heard such crisp and deep spunds and bass from any of my past sound bars. I’ve owned the Bose, LG, Vizio, and others but the Sonos takes the cake for quality. Well worth the money, their app is easy to manage on my phone, pc, and tablets. Can’t wait to add more Sonos products to the home theater experience.

By far the best sound bar for an affordable price. Reviewed and listened to different products for weeks to test before we bought, and this product (paired with the subwoofer mini!) was far ahead of the others. Great price, room filling sound of high quality. Easy to set up with the app and pair to my tv, and we also love using it to play music while hanging around our house!

Nice bar. Clear sounds and has plenty of bass if needed. Clear sound and nice expanded sound if needed. We chose this one over the Bose. This unit does not have Bluetooth hookup but that's ok with us. You have to use the Sonos app to setup and adjust.

I replaced two old TV sound bars with Sonos Beam Gen2. They are Super Easy to set up and the Sound is awesome. Such a big improvement. We can now hear what people are saying, It also connects to my iPhone and I play music through the soundbar and two separate speakers I have placed in other rooms. Robust! Awesome Sound!

Alright, maybe I should have purchased the Arc. But this sounds leaps and bounds better than the TV speakers and the sound bar I had previously. Sonos has been going through a rough patch lately, but they're coming back and are the only game when it comes to seamless, wireless sound systems. Pair this with the Sub Mini for best results.

Excellent sound, connectivity and aesthetic. The Dolby Atmos feature makes the cinematic experience more real and authentic. Very easy to connect and modify, and the sound is pure and strong, highly recommend!

This is my second Beam and the iteration has really blown me away. Like all Sonos speakers, it's incredibly easy to set up, offers endless customization and sounds amazing. I have this in my office with the mini sub and a pair of One's for surround sound and it sounds just as good as a much more expensive system. The Dolby Atmos is incredible, voices are clear and it excels at playing music as well. I've had Bose and Sony sound systems and Sonos is top dog for me.

It is loud and clear. No distortion. It really enhances the sound of whatever you are watching. Easy to use app. Would definitely recommend.

Sonos is not bad. This is my first sound bar. I was torn between the beam and Bose one. But after hearing demo in store. I grieviated towards the beam! Music sounded great on it. I've had a few hiccups with mine on the sound just quitting on me during a program, because it thought my smart device was on a different network. So, I've had to restart it several times a month, when I first got it. Which was a pain. Also, I didn't realize that the optical cord end piece had a cover on it, till I read some posts online about why the cord was always popping out of the tv.

after a few minutes of set up this beam is rocking. I love the ease of set up and how clear the sound is!!! I would certainly support this one especially paired with the mini sub and the two speakers.
