Purchased this, a sub and two surrounds for the upstairs TV room. We have an arc downstairs and I was surprised at the output of this little guy. Not quite as good as the ark but absolutely amazing

The new Gen of the SONOS BEAM is Awesome, well the previous models are great too. Since my space to watch TV is very small the Sonos Beam is the perfect sound bar. The sound is great, the bass is great and using the Sonos app you can add the One Sonos surround speaker and that would be the perfect match. Make sure you do the tuning using the Sonos app. Overall the Sonos Bean is a great option, I know id not cheap but the sound is great from such a small sound bar.

This device gives you exactly what you pay for and I mean that in the best kind of way. Yes you can get a more expensive soundbar for a full movie experience but for day to day tv watching this sound bar works great. Be sure to utilize the app to adjust the speaker to your preferred settings. Out of the box settings were not great but after making adjustments in the app it works great. Also the connection through iPhone to play music anywhere in the house has been seamless as well. Overall I recommend if you are not looking for a speaker to provide a movie theater style experience but allows for great sound for tv, sports, and music.

fantastic sound. sharp and clear. don't really need the base speaker, as the sound bar produces very good sound alone. very glad i discussed with sales personnel, as this was clearly a great choice.

For what it is, it is fantastic. If you’re looking for a small low profile sound bar that actually sounds great, this is the one. It truly is small, barely takes up any space, and sounds amazing. I love the connectivity to my phone also, nice touch to mess with the EQ and what not if you needed to right from your phone. Overall, very happy. Especially for my small game room.

Easy to set up…really easy. Almost plug and play. Sound is good. Think you may want to add a small sub for deeper bass. If you can manage the additional cost one of the arc sound bars may provide a better experience. .

This is a good quality sound bar, with good sound a bass response. Once it was set up, it worked well with our TV connected to an Apple TV. There are a few reasons I didn’t give this unit 5-stars. 1. The set up software was clunky at best. One needs to download an App for a phone or pad of either variety to access the setup software. I have some experience working with confused Apps, but I don’t think my wife would have managed to figure out how to set it up. Luckily, once the setup and connection are complete, the App is really not needed. 2. As the unit goes to “sleep” after use, so there is a small delay in response before the audio starts. Start a video, and the first few moments of audio are lost until it wakes up. I expect that I could force it awake using the App, but it seems pretty daft to need to have my iPhone around to run an app so I can listen to a video on my TV. 3. The inputs are limited. I realize that a more expensive Sonos model would offer additional input methods. Just saying this unit has limited inputs. Ultimately we have learned to live with these issues and do enjoy the audio. Since it mostly works automatically, it is a LOT better than the previous sound system I had, which was a stereo receiver. Using that system required way too many steps to get things working. So it is recommended.

The Sonos Beam (Gen 2) is a great soundbar for those looking for a compact, yet powerful audio solution for their TV. It features Dolby Atmos support, which creates a more immersive sound experience, and it can be expanded with additional Sonos speakers for a surround sound system. The Beam (Gen 2) has a sleek, minimalist design that will complement most TVs. It's also relatively small and lightweight, so it's easy to place on a shelf or mount to the wall. The sound quality of the Beam (Gen 2) is excellent. It produces clear, well-balanced audio that is perfect for movies, TV shows, and music. The Dolby Atmos support adds a new level of immersion, especially with movies that have been specifically mastered for Atmos. The Beam (Gen 2) is also a great choice for those who want a smart soundbar. It can be controlled with the Sonos app, Amazon Alexa, or Google Assistant. You can also use the app to create custom sound profiles for different rooms in your home. Overall, the Sonos Beam (Gen 2) is a great soundbar that offers a lot of value for the price. It's compact, powerful, and easy to use, making it a great choice for anyone looking to improve the sound of their TV. Here are some pros and cons of the Sonos Beam (Gen 2): Pros: Compact and lightweight design Excellent sound quality Supports Dolby Atmos Expandable with additional Sonos speakers Smart soundbar with voice control Cons: Can be a bit pricey No upward-firing speakers for Dolby Atmos Bass can be a bit lacking for some people Overall, the Sonos Beam (Gen 2) is a great soundbar that offers a lot of value for the price. If you're looking for a compact, powerful, and easy-to-use soundbar with Dolby Atmos support, then the Beam (Gen 2) is a great option. Here are some alternatives to the Sonos Beam (Gen 2): Vizio Elevate: This soundbar also supports Dolby Atmos and has upward-firing speakers for a more immersive sound experience. However, it's larger and more expensive than the Beam (Gen 2). Bose Soundbar 700: This soundbar also has excellent sound quality and supports Dolby Atmos. However, it's also more expensive than the Beam (Gen 2). Samsung HW-Q60T: This soundbar is a more affordable option that still offers great sound quality and Dolby Atmos support. However, it's not as compact as the Beam (Gen 2).

Honestly, I got this sound bar without the sub or surround sound speaker companions. The app led me through setting it up- taking little to no time at all- connecting to your WiFi and allows you to setup subs or surrounding speakers in the future, easily. This sound bar sounds incredibly clear and has surprisingly great bass [without the sub]. For the price tag on this speaker… I’m not sure you’ll find a better soundbar.

The Sonos Beam is excellent. The sound quality is amazing to the point where we are not using our close caption option due to the clarity of the sound. Also, the customer service person assisting us in the sale was very knowledgeable and helped our family with the purchase. Allen

The sound quality is leaps and bounds better than the old Samsung bar I was using. Software is easy to use. Only issue is I have no ideas what the volume level is at until I open the app to see.

Sonos is not bad. This is my first sound bar. I was torn between the beam and Bose one. But after hearing demo in store. I grieviated towards the beam! Music sounded great on it. I've had a few hiccups with mine on the sound just quitting on me during a program, because it thought my smart device was on a different network. So, I've had to restart it several times a month, when I first got it. Which was a pain. Also, I didn't realize that the optical cord end piece had a cover on it, till I read some posts online about why the cord was always popping out of the tv.
