Decent sound bar, but there might be better?!

Sonos is not bad. This is my first sound bar. I was torn between the beam and Bose one. But after hearing demo in store. I grieviated towards the beam! Music sounded great on it. I've had a few hiccups with mine on the sound just quitting on me during a program, because it thought my smart device was on a different network. So, I've had to restart it several times a month, when I first got it. Which was a pain. Also, I didn't realize that the optical cord end piece had a cover on it, till I read some posts online about why the cord was always popping out of the tv.

Incredible sound bar for a great price! Night mode and voice enhancement work extremely well. Good bass considering no subwoofer. Atmos works well without additional speakers. Obviously, you can add rear surrounds and a mini sub woofer, but not needed unless you like to shake the walls with booming sound (I hate that).

Get with the times and utilize bluetooth

The speaker sounds very good. I cannot believe Sonos does not use bluetooth (only wifi) and this is disappointing. Having to use the Sonos app rather than simply bluetoothing to the speaker to play music is annoying and the app is very clunky and for some reason does not like to play certain songs or stations.

    NOGO'S FOR SONOS!

I was impressed with the overall sound but it was a bit pricey $$$. Upon setting up the device i realized there's no on/off button nor a physical remote control, i had to use my phone as a remote which is a pain especially when you'd like to put the phone away, chill and watch a movie. The very next day the device didn't recognize that it was connected to my television, so i called tech support and they told me it was a bad HDMI cord. WRONG! The device suddenly started to play after a few hours, so id say that is definitely a connectivity issue. I was also told you could pair the device with your smart tv w/o a HDMI or optical cord. WRONG AGAIN!! It does not do what other soundbars do in this price range. WEIRD! After all these things happened I was no longer feeling it. IT'S A NOGO'S FOR SONOS

A steal to get a Sonos at this price. Pure crisp sound. There’s also multiple wall mounts made just for this soundbar to float it. If your first Sonos, set up is very simple and the app is amazing. Easy to add additional Sonos products right to the app to have whole house sound. It allows you to add Pandora and other stuff right to the app which is fantastic. WiFi required.

Best standalone sound bar bang for the buck!

Great sound and easy to use. If you are looking for a great standalone sound bar that won't disappoint out of the box and you can add to later, this is it. The iPhone App to tune it to your room is a great feature as well. The Android app seems to have everything except that one incredibly useful feature. If your TV is mounted on a full motion mount I highly recommend the Sanus mount for the Sonos Beam. Works and looks great! Paired mine with a 65" LG G3 Oled.

The Sonos Beam gen 2 is a perfect fit for my small family room, about 300 sq ft. It’s small, packs a punch (even without a dedicated subwoofer), it does a fair job emulating Dolby Atmos, and it doesn’t cost thousands of dollars. I highly recommend it and when you get it, please do not judge it after a plug and play. You must run the calibration from the iOS app. It is impressive how it adjusts to create a perfect sound based on the room dynamics. I only wish it had its own remote so I don’t have to do it from the phone, but is not a big deal.

Sound is great. Didn’t even realize I’d only be able to listen through the Sonos app. But once I got used to it I don’t mind. I can’t wait to add to it

Sonos Beam (Gen 2) - A Very Satisfied Customer.

We were looking for a soundbar for our living room TV. The advisor showed us the Sonos Beam (Gen 2) with Dolby Atmos. The difference in the sound quality of the Sonos Beam compared to that of the less expensive brands was immediately apparent. The dialog was much clearer at all volume levels, and the features available on the Sonos Beam far outclassed those of the other sound bars we previewed. The Sonos Beam is a bit more expensive than other sound bars, but in this instance, the additional cost is well worth it. You won't be disappointed in this quality addition to your entertainment center. We were so pleased with the performance we later purchased a Sonos wireless speaker to complement the Sonos Beam.

Sonos is the way to go for those looking for surround sound options without installing numerous speakers. The sound quality is excellent and no sound bar on the market can touch it. You can go even bigger with an Arc, but the beam gets the job done in any large room. Set up is simple through the app and you can even go optical in lieu of HDMI if your prefer.

This is our 4th Beam. We love the ease of connecting, the easy to use app, and the quality of sound. Paired the Beam with a Sub Mini in a bedroom for incredible sound. All our sound systems are Sonos (Arc, 4th Gen Sub, 2 Era 300s in main room, 2 Era 100s in kitchen, 2 amps 2 Beams downstairs for outdoor entertainment). Love how we can combine all to play same audio or zone each to different sources. If you are in the Webster / Clear Lake / League City Texas area, go to the Webster store and ask for Justin. He is great and will hook you up!

Great, rich sound. Picked up a small wall mount to put it directly below the TV to help manage cables and have the sound coming more from the tv direction. Fantastic

Great product. Really fills the entire room with sound, just enough bass without a sub. I paired with 2 era 100s to really get a great surround sound! Easily connects to tv and Bluetooth for streaming music, great product!

Bought from a BB outlet and I’m glad I did. Saved over $100 from the regular stocker price. One thing I will advise if you buy open box, make sure the product is reset to its original setting. I had trouble trying to sync it to the app but found out it never was properly restored. It’s easy to do that as well. No need to return if this happens to you.

Got this as a house warming gift, and they couldn't be happier. Big, balanced sound without distortion or crackles, even at high volume. Setup was quick and easy. Surprisingly, having no dedicated remote is actually a plus as there's one less device to keep track of; just use the HDMI ARC port and your TV remote can control it. Great device and great value all around!

Better than the original in many ways. It was easier to set up (the original wasn’t hard, but with NFC title his one is even easier) I can’t compare sound as I have it in a very different place than my original. But I do like the sound for both TV and streaming music. It holds its own to a sound bar system that had a wireless sub that it replaced. From my perspective, if you are going to spend the money on an Arc, you really should be looking at a discrete surround system. Otherwise the beam is all you likely need and it’s a lot less expensive
